Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Traumhafte Lage. Absolute Ruhe auf der Terrasse mit einzigartigem Blick auf Kühe, die direkt gegenüber am Fluss stehen. Baden und Paddeln waren sehr toll. Schöne Spaziergänge sind möglich, ansonsten braucht man eher das Auto. Küche ist super ausgestattet. Kaffeemaschine mit Kapseln.
Matratzen waren sehr weich und die Betten schmaler als in Deutschland. Viele Fliegen auf der Terrasse, haben uns erstmal eine Fliegenklatsche gekauft. Aber am meisten haben wir Mückengitter für die Nacht vermisst, damit man etwas Luft reinlassen kann.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026גן עדן !! מקום מושלם, אי אפשר לתאר במילים צריך להגיע כדי להבין. התקשורת עם הבעלים הייתה מצוינת וקלילה. קיבלנו את בקתה מספר 2, ממוקמת על המים וממוזגת, חנייה פרטית. נוף חלומי, ברווזים שוחים ממש ליד הבקתה ופרות בשדות. הבקתה מאובזרת בכל מה שצריך לשהייה, נקייה מאוד, חדרים מרווחים ( 2 חדרי שינה, מיטה זוגית יוצאת מהקיר בסלון ). מרפסת מהממת עם שולחן גדול, כיסאות לשיזוף. אפשר להשכיר סירה ממונעת ולעשות שיט באזור. סירות קיאק וסאפ ניתן לקחת חופשי. בכניסה למקום יש חממה קטנה מלאה במשחקי קופסא, אורגן ופינות ישיבה. היינו שבוע בהולנד וזה היה המקום שהכי אהבנו להיות בו. אין ספק שזה גרם לטיול שלנו להיות מושלם. עיירה מקסימה, סופר גדול במרחק של 5 דקות נסיעה. 15 דקות נסיעה משדה התעופה ו - 20 דקות נסיעה מאמסטרדם. תודה רבה למארחים המקסימים. ממליצה בחום !!!

Reviewed May 1, 2026Lichtdurchflutet, schöne sonnige Terrasse mit herrlichem Weitblick und Blick auf die vielfältige Vogelwelt, e-bikes, Elektroboot und Paddelboote zur Erkundung der näheren Umgebung vom Wasser und vom Land aus. Brötchenservice. Ein schöner Platz zum Abschalten und Erholen.

Astiastoa voisi täydentää, mm.syvät lautaset. Ei ollut mikroaaltouunia eikä leivänpaahdinta, vaikka esitiedoissa ne mainittiin.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Die Aussicht war wunderschön das Haus war super sauber tolle Ausstattung Küche sehr gepflegt Badezimmer sehr gepflegt modern eingerichtet. Der Weg zum Keukenhof war sehr kurz also eine top Lage!
Die Matratzen waren super unbequem das Zimmer mit dem Doppelbett war sehr klein, die Schränke haben es sehr klein wirken lassen. Das Bett war sehr unbequem es ist immer mindestens eine Matratze runtergerutscht..

Reviewed Oct 2, 2025Wir hatten im Tulpenacker eine Mega Zeit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist so ein idyllischer Ort, die Lage ist perfekt. Das Angebot dort SUP, Kajak kostenlos zunutzen , haben wir sehr genossen. Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet , auch ein Grill wurde uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Kim und Erwin sind zuvorkommende, sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder......

Reviewed Jul 16, 2025Die wunderschöne Ferienanlage mit den modernen Ferienhäusern an idyllischer Lage hat uns sehr gefallen. Es ist alles sehr gepflegt, man hat Privatsphäre im eigenen Haus und auf der Veranda. Die Ferienhäuser sind sehr gut eingerichtet. Zudem konnten wir unser Auto direkt am Haus parken. SUP's und Kanu's standen kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Elektronische Fahrräder und/oder ein elektrisches Boot konnten unkompliziert gemietet werden. Speziell erwähnen möchten wir die Freundlichkeit der ganzen Gastgeberfamilie. Wir haben uns sehr aufgehoben gefühlt. Besten Dank für wundervolle Ferientage im Tulpenacker.
Es gibt überhaupt nichts zu beanstanden.

Reviewed May 17, 2025The location in a village/small town is perfect as it is quiet but with easy access to everywhere we wanted to visit (Keukenhof, Leiden, Scheveningen, Schiphol and Amsterdam). The bike ride around the lake was great. We enjoyed kayaking in front of the villa too. A great place to have an active leisurely holiday.

Reviewed Sep 22, 2024The location was very attractive – it was close to every major city (Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Gouda). The host was very friendly and eager to chat. Thanks to his kindness, it was possible to rent kayaks/SUPs for free and travel through the nearby canals. The view from the terrace was wonderful. The cottage was of a very high standard and had all possible amenities (fast WiFi, air conditioning, kitchen utensils). We have very fond memories of our stay and sincerely recommend it; we will definitely come back again.
No insect nets. Due to the proximity of farms, there were quite a lot of flies, mosquitoes, and spiders.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2024The location is with short ride to Amsterdam, Haag, Rotterdam and other South Netherlands areas, but it is situated in a very calm and peaceful area, surrounded by nature. Everything was spotless and well-maintained and clean. Kim was very friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2024No breakfast - self catering. The whole experience was a joy. Excellent communication, a warm welcome, beautifully furnished villa with everything we needed, adjacent parking and free use of the canoe & boards. The location was ideal for us to visit Leiden and also other locations in the Country e.g. Het Loo, Zuiderzee Museum, Veluwe National Park and the Kroller Muller museum. There was even an excellent supermarket, Dirk, in the small town and an ever changing panorama of birds, cows (one of which fell into the water - apparently it frequently happens) and other wildlife. Would recommend to others

Reviewed Dec 28, 2023This place is a hidden gem 💎 Beautifully decorated holiday homes at the waterside with sweeping views of a landscape that could not be more Dutch. The homes are very well equipped (hand soap, dishwasher tablets, paper kitchen towels etc) and staff are very welcoming - especially Dog Mick 🐶, the star of the place. We were here in the dead of winter, with a big storm raging, so we couldn't really enjoy the outside, but in summer it must be very nice to sit on the big terrace along the water. PS go to nearby Paal 7 restaurant, it's very good 😊
To be honest, the town itself (Roelofarendsveen) is not particularly interesting or attractive. So go for the peace & quiet. And note that each holiday home only has one bathroom and one toilet, so if you're staying with 6 people, you'll have to make a planning 📝
