Rivonia One & Only

We were especially touched by the thoughtful extras — having food and goodies in the fridge ready for us was such a kind and generous gesture, and so greatly appreciated after our travels.

Loved everything.

I appreciate the ingredients given to cook our own meals. The kitchen was simply amazing our host, Lilian, was the best. I cannot put into words how amazing this place is.

Everything was excellent.

I loved the location of the property. The host is the friendliest host I’ve ever met. She really caters to her guests to the best of her abilities. The property was clean and beautiful, with everything one could need.

Loved everything about my experience and the facility

Host was great , always checking we were happy with everything. Goes the extra mile to make sure the we was comfortable and very accommodating.

Friendly and accommodating.

Nothing everything was perfect

Everything. Before I booked I looked at the reviews and didn’t believe how perfect it was reported. I believe it now. The unit is fully equipped with quality items and Jamie Oliver would be very happy with the kitchen facilities. The unit is clean and fresh. Lilian, the hostess, is very attentive whilst at the same time respecting the guest privacy. A wonderful stay.

Nothing.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 6 nights. Our host Lilian was nothing short of extraordinary and went out of her way to ensure we had the best stay. The apartment is fully equipped with everything that one needs for a very comfortable stay. We have found our hidden gem for future trips. Lilian you are simply the BEST!!!!!

Nothing at all.

Great Location

The host made sure we feel at home, very friendly, enough meals for breakfast

We did not spend much time there. As we came for a 90th birthday celebration. We found the apartment very well equipped with lots of extras.

Quite tired looking - could do with an update.

The host was friendly and welcoming. The unit was clean and very well equipped with more than we needed. The coffee station was a bonus with a variety of coffee, teas and syrups. Will stay there again.

My Best BNB Ever. Centrally-located within walking distance, to everything, super friendly staff, fully equipped kitchen, spotless and comfortable. This is the second home when I am away.

Super sweet host and very well equipped house. So much items provided to make a nice breakfast!

Lilian was an amazing host! The place had everything we needed, and she truly went above and beyond. She stocked the kitchen with plenty of breakfast items, including a great variety of cereals—perfect for kids or cereal lovers. Her communication was clear and detailed throughout our stay. The home was clean, very spacious, and comfortable. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

The hostess Lillian was the 👌

The space and location.

Everything you need for self catering. Love the coffee machine

The host made us feel very welcome, she explained everything that we needed to know in detail ensuring that we don’t struggle with anything, she kept us up to date with everything that was happening around the complex, Lilian truly has exceptional hosting skills, I would definitely come back here again

Lillian, the host was superb. She welcomed us warmly and was full of helpful hints about the apartment and surrounding areas. The apartment had every little detail taken care of that made us feel at home. All messages were responded to promptly and all requirements were met immediately.

No aircon.

Lilian was an excellent host and made our stay in the awesome 2 bed 2 bath apartment very comfortable. Extremely good communication from the host always advising and checking that we were comfortable and if there is anything more she could do🙏. I will definitely return to this beautiful centrally located apartment in Sandton and would highly recommend it to others.

Nothing.

It was clean, comfortable and the catering for breakfast was the icing on the cake, also the check in process is seamless, with an amazing hostess who does regular check ups

Nothing

Very quiet and secure. Staff very friendly. It’s a home away from home. Family friendly place. Breakfast food was well provided for cooking and all basic amenities were available.

A anfitriã é muito calorosa e atenciosa o local é calmo e maravilhoso Tem uma segurança atenta e prestativa Amomos e esperamos voltar em breve

Lilian is a great host. Extremely friendly and attentive. The property has everything that you'd need.

Some of the lights didn't work how they're supposed to, but this didn't take away from the overall positive experience

The breakfast selection was unbelievable!!!! The kitchen has an amazing coffee machine, also kitted out with an airfryer and washing machine. Everything you need for a few nights stay! Stunning!!! The beds and pillows are super comfy! It is safe and quiet!

Really nothing, as everything was just amazing!!! I highly recommend everyone to stay in the beautiful, fully equipped apartment! You won't get better than this!

Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Lilian. Guter Service. Gute Lage. Sehr bequeme Betten.

Hier und da könnte etwas erneuert/saniert werden.

It was self service

Host on day of check out behaved without much courtesy

We had a truly lovely stay at this beautiful and spotless guesthouse. It was also very safe and within walking distance from the shopping centre. Lilian was exceptionally kind and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her thoughtful assistance made our visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.

Security and good location

After a nightmare landing in Johannesburg our first property wasn’t fit to stay in, we booked with Lilian at the arches of Rivonia and what an absolute pleasure Lilian was, letting us check in early after booking at short notice, we arrived to a very stunning complex with friendly and helpful security, we went to the apartment to be greeted by Lilian and again very friendly and pleasant, the apartment is stunning with a very nice kitchen to cook in with a lot of appliances, from a coffee machine with coffe beans to a panini maker, beds very comfortable and clean, a nice balcony to enjoy our lunch and dinner on, we couldn’t be happier with our stay at the arches of rivonia and Lilian, the area was very safe with shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. This stay saved our holiday from being a nightmare to being an amazing trip. Would 100% recommend staying here to anyone and we will be booking to stay again in the near future. Thank you

A friendly welcome. Lots of extras such as basic groceries (tea, coffee, spices, bread, cheese, milk even some vegetables) and an awesome bean to cup coffee machine 😁

We had a truly wonderful stay at Lilian’s beautiful 2-bedroom apartment! From the moment we arrived, Lilian welcomed us with such warmth and kindness, immediately making us feel at home. She went above and beyond to arrange her apartment like a real "second home," with thoughtful touches everywhere that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The apartment is located in a very secure complex, so we always felt safe and at ease. The location is also fantastic—very central, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away, which made everything so convenient for us. We are especially grateful for how caring Lilian was with us and our two furbabies. She treated our pets as part of the family, showing them so much love and making sure they were just as comfortable as we were! Thank you so much, dear Lilian, for your hospitality and for giving us a truly fantastic experience. We look forward to staying with you again and can’t recommend your place enough!

Everything was perfect.

Very attentive host. Nothing was too much bother. Very responsive to any request

Lilian your host cannot be faulted

Comfortable well furnished apartment, each bedroom has its own bathroom. Quiet complex. Really central and close Rivonia village.

Nothing not to like. Just be aware it’s on the first floor. Not a negative but be aware the breakfast is prepared by yourself in the apartment.

Lovely place, great host, quiet area, we had a wonderful time and will happily be back.

Excellent coordination by the host, clean and super good property.. value for money...

all ok.. If at all I must say somethin.. then... Just had some issues in getting the luggage to the first floor since there was no lift. But still that was managed by the support provided by the host. That maid was so nice and helpful in getting this sorted..

Unfortunately breakfast was self catering, however everything was provided from different types of cereal, to bacon, eggs, bread, yoghurt, coffees and teas. Lilian even left us mushrooms, sausage and juice. We stayed over for two nights and were not even able to eat all the food. Absolutely amazing value for money. The appartement is very spacious with motion sensing lights which helps when you have to get up and get some water in the middle of the night without having to put on any lights. Lilian herself is an amazing person & very friendly and full of life. The complex itself is extremely peaceful and 1 km away from restaurants and Rivonia shopping center. Absolutely fantastic and would definitely stay over again.

By check out we ran out of toilet paper, which isn't the end of the world, but an extra roll would have satisfied the nerves :D

amazing! so clean, host is incredible

Everything. Lilian is such a kind and thoughtful host and you have all the facilities you need.

There is absolutely nothing not to like.

Lillian was an excellent host. She provided quite a few amenities so that we didn't need to do much shopping on top of this

Nothing - we would come again gladly. Ok the swimming pool didn't seem clean or well maintained, but this is a communal pool and its not under Lillians control

The auto night lights when walking at night or in the dark. Explained how everything works in detail. Regular communication to see if we’re okay. Spacious and everything works perfectly as advertised. Breakfast variety.

Crockery and cutlery is very old and mismatched. Not mentioning a R1500 cash deposit in the costing/rates until you’ve booked and paid in full for your accommodation. Also not making it clear that the R350 cleaning fee added to your payment is not for daily cleaning but for the cleaning when you book out.

The location was great, it is in a very peaceful and convenient neighborhood. Easy to find as well.

The owner takes care of the apartment well, paying great attention to details. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The property gives a homey feel and the furnishings is quite beautiful. The property is conveniently located near all amenities. Everything in the property is cleverly thought through, from the extra water at the toilets should there be a water problem to the solar lights placed everywhere in case of load shedding. Extra cushions and blankets in all cupboards for chilly nights. We were spoiled with nice ingredients for a lovely breakfast, enjoyed on the porch. We were quite impressed and enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Well equipped apartment. Exceptionally helpful & friendly host (Lilian). Very quiet nights sleep.

Nothing at all - everything was perfect.

The owner met me on arrival. Very helpful and friendly person. She went the extra mile to make sure I had dinner the day of arrival. This venue ensured my bed was made everyday, fresh towels and apartment cleaning was available every single day. This meets world class hospitality standards and is value for money. The complex is very safe and family orientated. I really enjoyed my stay here and recommended this place.

There is not much not to like about this place. This place is perfect.

Beautiful modern, neat apartment, beautifully furnished and spacious, and a wonderfully helpful and friendly host! Accommodated for load shedding, will definitely be back.

Great Host. Very accommodating

Host was super friendly and helpful. Place was not just clean but spotless. Very quit and serene for a city.

Nothing

How well setup the place is. Lillian anticipated our needs and even had a battery with a converter. To add we asked her for branded water because we did not want to drink the tap water and she was there within 15 minutes. She is an exceptional host and i highly recommend stay there! I am sure we will

Absolutely nothing. Best bnb ever

The rooms are clean. The area is convenient.

The location and facilities were exellent

Everything

The host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for breakfast: fresh fruit, milk, tea/coffee, cereal...even sausages and eggs! There was also a "sweetie jar" for the kids, which was a nice touch!

Nothing. Everything was perfect! The apartment was fantastic and so was the location. The extra "power sources" in case of loadshedding were amazing! An inverter, emergency lights - everything you could imagine!

Place. Was excellent nothing tocom0pain about

The range that the host left us for breakfast was great. Bread, yoghurt, fruit, cereals, oats, milk, butter, marmalade, jam, eggs, bacon, onions, mushrooms etc. There was also tea and coffee and filter coffee in the fridge.

Nothing. The place had everything we needed and was well stocked. The beds were so comfy and the water pressure great. There are also lights that come on that are battery operated on the walls when there is a power cut.

The place is very beautiful with exceptional features.

Nothing

Smart, Secure, well-stocked. The unit is really clean, filled with beneficial accessories, like lights with sensors, an inverter etc. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could require.

Nothing major, just some firmer pillows would be a welcome addition This is just small thing though, the place was perfect.

A really great place. Had everything we need
