Reviewed Aug 21, 2025The location was quiet and secluded. There were midges about in the morning and evenings (the "Irish air force" our host called them), but they weren't too bothersome. Marie, our hostess, was ever so kind. She even mended my pair of trousers that had a big rip in them. The place was perfect for the three of us.

The only issue we had was on our first day kids were playing knock door run at the front door, although once they had been caught at the front door they stopped.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2025We had a fantastic time at this cosy cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The peaceful setting was perfect for relaxing, yet close enough to Dungloe town and stunning coastal spots. The host was welcoming and extremely helpful! We’d happily stay again!

Reviewed Oct 20, 2024Clean and well equipped. Warm and comfortable with up to date facilities (including wi-fi). Lovely outdoor area for drinks/meals overlooking the lake. Friendly and helpful hosts but privacy respected, and private parking at the door of property. Easy access to Dungloe with pubs (music!), supermarkets, petrol stations etc.. Great base for visiting West Donegal eg Aranmore, Errigal, Glenveagh, etc..
