Great location and so close to the town. Our excellent host Mary looked after us very well, all necessary food stuff in the apartment. We had a brilliant time in beautiful Donegal, attended 'Mary from Dungloe' and also Daniel & Majella's Tea Party, a fantastic day and for a very worthy cause. God bless you all.

There was nothing to dislike, all was brilliant

Couldn't be happier with the accomodation. Very comfy beds, all you could want in a Kitchen and Mary had supplied bread, milk and biscuits so we were able to have some tea as soon as we arrived.

We had a lovely time staying at Ard Cashel. Mary is an excellent host who can’t do enough for you. From helpful tips and advice on where to go to having a great blether, she’s a wonderful woman! A great place to explore beautiful Donegal and the apartment is spotless, well equipped and with a good shower and comfortable beds. What more could you want? Thanks for looking after us Mary! We hadden een hartelijke ontvangst, met zelfs wat boodschappen die voor ons klaar lagen. De bedden waren geweldig. Ruim opgezet, goed voorzien appartement. Gastvrouw graag bereid om te helpen en adviezren voor tochtjes.

The whole apartment was lovely, centre of town and the host Mary couldn't be more helpful. A perfect location.

Fantastic location with numerous pubs and eatery's close by, Michael and Mary (the hosts) couldn't do enough for you, they are lovely people.

El apartamento es estupendo. Todo nuevo y con un funcionamiento perfecto. Camas muy cómodas, habitaciones espaciosas. Tanto la ropa de cama como las toallas son de calidad. Tiene una puerta que da a un patio desde el que puedes ver el mar. Electrodomésticos y vajilla perfecto. La propietaria muy amable y nos dio muchísima información sobre sitios a los que visitar y pubs y comercios del entorno. Un encanto de persona. Cuando llegamos teníamos pan, leche, café, queso, mantequilla,…y nos preguntó por WhatsApp, antes de llegar, si necesitábamos algo más! Mary, eres estupenda. La localización es buena, tranquila pero en pleno centro de la localidad, locales con distintos tipos de comida a los que ir andando. El chino de enfrente muy recomendable. Además, tienes cerca playas y localidades para visitar. Aparcamiento privado.

Loved the beautiful apartment which had everything we needed to settle in- bread, milk,etc. An abundance of towels was provided and apartment situated in close proximity to the town. The bedrooms were spacious and pristine Good wifi. Chinese situated across street from apartment was excellent and very good value for money. Finally our hosts - Mary and Michael- I could sing their praises all day- very welcoming and lovely people. I would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely make a return visit.

It is a really beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Our host was fantastic. She even had milk, bread, butter, and biscuits for us, which is a nice touch as you can easily forget to bring them with you. We're looking forward to returning again.

The apartment was excellent, very clean, perfect location to visit the best places around. Also very close to restaurants, pubs, take aways. Mary is a lovely woman, very friendly. I will recomend it to all my friends and I hope we come back there in future.

Very central to bars and restaurants that was on your doorstep. Comfortable beds and the bedrooms had plenty of space and were cosy and warm.

Lovely apartment. Beds were super comfortable. Mary and her husband were very friendly and couldn't do enough. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Our host was exceptionally welcoming.

Host was extremely friendly and helpful. Phoned beforehand to ensure I knew where we were going and asked if we wanted any specific groceries brought in.

A 2-seater sofa and a bench type seat meant you could only sit 4, and the bench type seat wasn't very comfortable.

Only thing I would add to improve the property is black out blinds or curtains in the bedrooms

We loved everything about Ard Cashel. It is a perfect place to stay, when in Dungloe. Mary is a Super Host and made our stay there so good.

Location was excellent for sight seeing in that part of Donegal. Plenty of choice in places to dine. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful. Our apartment was lovely as was our host, who greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and welcoming.

Location perfect. Apartment was lovely size with all mod cons. Our Host is a lady!

Very accessible to town. Apartment spotless. Lovely restaurants and pubs. Good base to explore Donegal.

Mary was there to greet us on arrival and had some milk, bread and butter already provided for us. What a lovely lady & WOW our accommodation was immaculately presented & tastefully decorated. Mary also gave us plenty of tips for where to go or where to eat, and she told us to call her if there was anything else we wanted to know. Very spacious rooms with WiFi and also netflix on TV to keep the kids happy. Perfect location to explore this part of Donegal and the town also has a great selection of shops, bars & places to eat. Private parking at the location is also very handy. The main car park just down the road has an ESB EV charger which we used after every day's outings. I'd highly recommend staying here and we'll be back 🥰

Excellent property in an excellent location (literally at the top of the main street in Dungloe!). Everything was spotlessly clean, and all of the beds were incredibly comfortable!! The host had brought us milk and bread, and even left us some biscuits for our tea! Each of the two bedrooms had a little basket of useful items too, and shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner were left for our convenience in the bathroom! We had plenty of clean towels and toilet paper, and all of the kitchen utensils/essentials you would hope for, as well as tea, coffee, and sugar! As an extra bonus, there was a wall-mounted small flat-screen tv in each bedroom and the living room, which was connected to wifi and included streaming services (we didn't need to sign in with our own subscriptions - they were already signed in courtesy of the host! There was also ample parking and Wifi. We would return in a heartbeat - excellent value for money!

The apartment is in a handy location close to the town. Everything was as should be expected, very clean, tidy etc Mary was very friendly and helpful.

Good communication throughout our booking/stay. Friendly warm welcome from Mary on arrival. Clean spacious rooms. Plenty of towels. Lots of extras like selection of breads, milks and biscuits. They even had my request for dulse waiting for me on arrival. Disability friendly. Cosy and warm. I would most definitely return here.

Location was ideal and apartment was spotless. Mary was absolutely fab and had the kettle boiling as we arrived and few bits in the fridge. Was like home form home. We will definitely be staying again.

Excellent location for touring Donegal. Close to pubs and eating places. Accommodation spotless. Plenty of towels provided. Beds very comfortable Tea, coffee, sugar,milk, bread, marmalade, butter, a huge apple pie and custard . Very well looked after. Washing machines available too. Hosts were unobtrusive but available and very friendly and answered queries promptly before we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. Aldi and Lidl close by. Would definitely go back.

Shower a little small and water went onto the floor so be careful. Forgot to mention to the owners. 2 rings on electric hob not working.
