Excellent hotel, incredibly clean and the staff are amazing and very friendly! The breakfast does not offer a lot of variety but honestly you don't need it. Everything was fresh, delicious and they even put together different dishes daily. I tried the yoga class they offered and it was so good.

It's a 20mins walk from the beach or a 5min tuktuk ride and not many restaurants around but the neighbourhood is very quiet!

Wir dachten es wäre wenigstens Yoga mit inklusive im Preis, jedoch wurde das nochmal mit 3000 Rupien pro Person berechnet. Die surf Stunden auch wie zu überteuert. Man bekommt diese ab Strand auf eigene Faust viel günstiger. In der Nacht hatten wir im Zimmer seltsame elektromagnetische Vibrationen gehört, die haben uns abends nicht gut schlafen lassen. Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich zuvorkommend und nett, aber sie verstehen kaum Englisch. Kommunikation schwierig. Wir waren über das Preis leistungs Verhältnis eher enttäuscht.

Einziges kleines Manko ist die Lage, aber für wenige Euro mit dem TukTuk abends gar kein Problem. Tagsüber kann man auch gut laufen!

Everything is very clean, aesthetic, and thoughtfully designed, with beautiful interiors. The location is great: beginner surf spots in Weligama are very close, and you can also reach Mirissa or Ahangama quickly, which makes it very convenient and enjoyable. The staff add so much to the overall charm of the place. Especially Madu (!!) she is so hard working and busy, but always friendly, smiling, and incredibly helpful.

Beautiful, relaxing hotel. The pool and rooftop for yoga were great as were the surfing lessons they arranged. The staff here are the best! So kind, friendly and helpful and would go above and beyond. Would definitely come back if I were in Weligama!

Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt im Oasia und uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Wir waren insgesamt 7 Nächte dort und haben es sehr genossen, uns etwas abseits der City aufzuhalten. Dennoch sind alle wichtigen Spots fußläufig oder mit dem Tuk Tuk zu erreichen. Die Anlage ist super schön, sauber und gepflegt. Sie lädt richtig zum Entspannen ein. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter sind so wahnsinnig herzlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Es hätte nicht besser sein können. Man hatte ein total familiäres Gefühl. Das Frühstück und die Snacks waren täglich frisch und super lecker.

Das Frühstück hätte aufgrund des Preises etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können

Wir haben uns im OASIA Surf House sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist zwar nicht direkt am Strand, aber trotzdem war alles gut erreichbar (wir hatten unser eigenes TukTuk, aber auch zu Fuß ist man nach einem kurzen Spaziergang am Strand). Kleine Shops, Restaurants und Bars sind ebenfalls gut erreichbar. Wir haben die ruhige Lage sehr genossen. Das Personal ist super nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben über die Unterkunft einen Surfkurs gebucht - hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber - alles Top! Gerne wieder.

Really good vibe about the whole place, all staff were really friendly.

Nina is an absolutely amazing host! The hotel is brand new, everything is spotless, and the rooms are truly fantastic. With only six rooms, the place feels incredibly cozy—almost like being part of a small family. We felt completely at home and loved it so much that we decided to stay two extra nights!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Guesthouse. Die Einrichtung ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet, der Pool ist erfrischend, sauber und perfekt zum Entspannen. Insgesamt herrscht ein sehr chilliges, angenehmes Ambiente mit bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zur Unterhaltung stehen Bücher, Spiele und ein Fernseher zur Verfügung. Das WLAN funktioniert meistens gut, nur in den Zimmern kann der Empfang gelegentlich schwächer sein. Das Frühstück ist klein, aber fein – die Auswahl ist zwar begrenzt, dafür sind alle Speisen frisch und gesund. Besonders praktisch ist die Möglichkeit, sich frisch zubereitete Eier in jeder Variante oder Pancakes servieren zu lassen. Außerdem stehen rund um die Uhr Wasser, Tee und Instantkaffee bereit (kostenlos).

Ein kleines Manko: Vor Ort lebt ein Hund, der zwar sehr süß ist, aber oft bellt. Abgesehen davon ist die Unterkunft sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Strand und verschiedene Restaurants sind etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Aufgrund der Dunkelheit in der Umgebung empfiehlt es sich jedoch, vor allem abends ein Tuk Tuk zu nehmen.

We (couple end twentys) were there for 4 nights in early may: Clean spacious room; super friendly staff and owner, that also helps you find a scooter or laundry and gives other recommendations ; nice pool; good breakfast with delicious omlette; you can use the lovely outside living room with (video) games; …

Nothing really to add here (only maybe that it’s too far to walk to places during the heat, but with a scooter / tuktuk, which is super cheap and easy to get, it’s no problem)

Very clean, tidy and well thought out. Beautiful interior and exterior designs, a true little oasis amongst the ‘suburbs’ of Weligama. Appreciated the easy to sign-up/accommodation specific yoga and surfing classes, beautiful breakfast and pool.

Not too long, but slightly out of town. Compare to similar accommodation in other parts of Sri Lanka, it was a bit more expensive.

The staff and manager were very friendly. The location was quiet and offered peace and relaxation. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and it was nice to meet the other guests. We enjoyed time together in the room and on the balcony and spent a lot of time in the common area playing games and sitting by the pool! We would consider staying here again when we come back to Sri Lanka!

It's not all that bad to be disconnected from the internet, but the signal is very weak in the rooms. We had to schedule our work accordingly. Luckily the weather was very pleasant during our stay and the common area was usually peaceful and gave us time to log on and get things done.

Lovely, friendly staff who helped us to organise different parts of our trip, including surf lessons and tuk tuks. Breakfast was provided and cooked to order every day. As the hotel is very small, it was very quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed the pool area. Hotel was clean and well maintained, it’s a very pretty hotel.

The room had very basic facilities, it would’ve been good to have a fridge and bottled water in the room (this was available from the reception area). We did have some large ants in our bathroom each evening, we let the team know and they told us they would spray, this did seem to help as there were less each night we were there.

We had the most wonderful stay at Oasia for 2 nights. Nina, the owner, and the rest of the staff were exceptional. Every little detail is thought of. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed. We loved the location as it was quiet and only a 10 minutes walk or short tuk tuk ride to the busy and noisy centre of Weligama. The breakfast was delicious. Because the hotel only has 6 rooms and adults only it feels like you’ve got your own private pool and garden. We would love to come again and will recommending to family and friends.

Fantastic place with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. The rooms were incredibly nice, comfortable and clean. Great pool area, and wonderful outdoor area with the possibility of various activities. The breakfast was very good, and the surf and yoga class too.

Loved my stay at Oasia ! Pool area was amazing and you can find the atmosphere of a hostel with the comfort of a hotel. Breakfast was delicious and Nina helped arrange surf lessons, transfer, scooter rental and gave nice advice about what to do. Also it was in fact really nice not to in the noisy center but just a 3 minutes ride scooter or Tuktuk away. I would definitely go back !

We absolutely loved Oasia Surf House. The place is stunning, with incredible design and spotless cleanliness. But what truly makes it special is the amazing team—friendly, attentive, and full of good vibes. The rooftop yoga classes, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxed atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. Without a doubt, the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Sri Lanka. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can meet people in the common area, okay volleyball, go surfing or to parties but also simply stick to yourself if you prefer. Also everything is perfectly clean and breakfast is great. I loved it and Nina does an amazing job :-)

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Oasia Surf House for two nights, and it was a truly delightful experience. The property is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed, with an evident attention to detail that made it feel both stylish and welcoming. I enjoyed spending time by the pool, which is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Breakfast was another highlight—delicious and fresh! We loved the variety, especially the pancakes with bananas and coconut, as well as the fresh fruit options. It was also a bonus to have the convenience of ordering food from nearby restaurants and enjoying it at the property without having to head out. Thank you Nina and team :) We loved our stay

Rooms were really comfortable and the pool was a great place to cool off in the sun. The staff were very helpful with any questions about the area. The surf lessons they provided were fun!

It’s a little out of the way from the beach/places to eat. 15 minute walk or a short Tuktuk ride, however it does mean you have peaceful surroundings.

The place is super cool & felt very well taken care of. The staff was always available to help us with questions. Our surf class with the instructor Avi was great! Also the Yoga lesson was the best I ever had. I accidentally left my wallet in the safe and was informed immediately (no money was missing). We also enjoyed the Nintendo Switch in the common area! Breakfast was great.

The walk to the beach or main street in Weligama takes a while; renting a scooter for a day or two seems to be a good option!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Oasia surf house and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and The service was attentive and the ambiance was elegant. The hotel's location was also ideal, situated in a prime area. Overall, I cannot recommend highly enough. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers everything you need for a memorable stay. I look forward to returning in the near future!

Nina and the team really put their hearts into their hotel and it shows. Super comfy, well maintained, all facilities were great and the hotel was equipped with different games from Nintendo to volly Ball to Badminton.

Wifi is weak and unstable but that's just Sri Lanka.

I recently enjoyed a 10-day stay at OASIA Boutique Surf House. From the clean and stylish rooms, to the friendly team, and the peaceful local setting, it was exactly what I was seeking in my Weligama stay — a place to regroup, hang with interesting people and enjoy some surf and yoga time. A 12-minute walk or short tuk-tuk ride to Weligama Beach, the beauty of the OASIA is that it’s close enough to the surf scene but just far enough away to offer a truly relaxed vibe where you primarily hear the many different bird species hanging in the trees. If you’re headed to Weligama and looking for a relaxed stay, do yourself a favour and check out the OASIA.

This place is amazing! I really felt like home. Every person from staff and also the guests are so nice. Rooms are very clean and they can be cleaned during your stay if you need. Breakfast are very tasty. There are some additional activities that you can join like yoga or surf lesson (additionally paid).

Amazing place with it’s unique vibe. As a solo traveler I enjoyed the tranquility and nice community. Every detail is taken into account. I highly recommend it to beginner surfers as well because the coach is highly professional and the beach is perfect for that. I would also advise to try yoga on rooftop with their experienced yoga teacher! I have to mention that the information provided by the owner was super helpful. I completed almost everything on the list. All the places mentioned were worth visiting!

Location is not the most convenient as it’s a little bit far from the main road. I would consider that if you like going out in the evening alone. There is always a possibility to book tuk tuk or get on one nearby though. Still worth it!

Everything was excellent! Nina and Teja (owners) were super friendly and helpful. Gave lots of tips on where to go what to do and arranged transportation to the airport. Staff working in this house was awesome too! Girls who were in charge of breakfast, security guys and they had yoga teacher in the house too! Basil cocktail it’s a must if you are staying here! Would definitely comeback here again!

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Weligama. The property is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, but is still a walk or short Tuk Tuk drive from the beach. Great place to stay if you are looking for surfing, yoga, to relax or meet new people. The property honestly felt like a home away from home, Nina and Teja have made such a cosy, homely environment it was hard to leave!

Such a serene spot, away from the beach. Activities every day. Really tasty food. And such kind people.

Originally booked for 5 days and stayed for 9! I had been travelling round Sri Lanka and this was by far the highlight of my trip. Nina and Teja have created a beautiful environment where you instantly feel welcome and relaxed. They’ve selected an amazing team of staff who are super helpful and friendly, they go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need at all times. It’s incredible value for money- the whole place has been done to a very high standard, it’s exceptionally clean and well designed. There are so many nice spots around the hotel to hang out in- the back garden and rooftop were my favourite :) and there’s plenty of social activities to get involved in if you’re a solo traveller, but can equally have your privacy and space if/ when you prefer to. The location is idyllic, a short but beautiful walk out of town makes you feel like you’re almost waking up in the jungle as it’s so peaceful. Already planning my next trip here as it feels like home away from home 🩷 Thank you to the whole Oasia team!

It was an amazing stay! Breakfasts and coffee were delicious, the room was clean and comfortable. Nice pool and the yard is awesome. Jungle back yard is a piece of art. But it’s all about warm and friendly atmosphere. Gladly recommend this hotel!

Our stay at OASIA was truly amazing! The rooms are super clean, comfy and tastefully decorated. The entire house is very modern and inviting, which immediately made us feel at home. Nina and her amazing team do a great job of creating an inviting atmosphere as well and are always super friendly, caring and helpful. From offering yoga sessions, organizing surfing sessions and also communal dinners every aspect of our stay was great. After two weeks of traveling through Sri Lanka and staying in various homestays (all of which were nice), stumbling upon this great place was a true highlight for us. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

OASIA is modern, clean and well decorated. The surf house is located in a quiet area. The hosts and staff were very kind, caring and made us feel home from the first minute. Breakfast was excellent and the activities proposed are also great. There’s a lovely and homely vibe to this place and our only regret was not having stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back!

The hotel has a very high standard, we felt like at home there. The bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfy. The breakfasts were in a form of a buffet and the choice of food was very good. The distance to the beach was ok, and the walk was quite interesting as we could look at a crocodile in the river that we passed on the way. The hotel also has an amazing rooftop where one can see and hear plenty of different birds.

The biggest problem was the lack of AC. Theoretically there was AC available in our room but on 2 out of 3 nights we spend there we couldn't use it because of the power outage. The staff was nice and explained everything to us so that we stayed informed, which we appreciated, but when I'm paying this much per night I am expecting the hotel to have a working generator that can power the AC. Another problem were ants in the bathroom, there was plenty! The balcony only offers a comfy seat for one person (as presented in the pictures). We used the rooftop instead so it wasn't that bad, but it would be nice to at least have a chair on the balcony so that both people can sit comfortably. Also the owner has a dog, which jumped at me at some point and made my dress dirty. Again, the staff was nice and even offered to wash my dress, but maybe the dog should be kept away from the guests as not everyone is comfortable with such behavior.

Friendly staff, modern design and well organised. Included a pool with floats and weights upstairs on the rooftop. Breakfast was really tasty, with some served as help yourself. Comfy beds and great shower.

Flies at breakfast was really off putting, also an issue with ants in the bathroom. Facilties appear to also be open to non guests to use during our stay, this might be because it was around Christmas, but for the amount we paid we did find it frustrating.

The accommodation is very clean and beautiful. The staff are great and the range of activities is very good. I can definitely recommend it.

The electrics were a little scary, when we turned the fan on/off the lights flickered and we were electrocuted!!!

The whole stay was incredible :) the owner are super kind and helpful. The facilities and the rooms were clean and super comfy! Everything is new and they created a really wonderful hotel with a lot of love. The food and drinks were great! I really felt home!

Loved everything about the stay in Oasia. Came for 2 nights and stayed 7 - felt very welcome and it was a very lovely community and I met the best people :) you can definitely stay easily alone there and enjoy the prettiest “dorms” ever. Nina and Thea were the best hosts and helped with everything I asked for. We went out for food and drinks, or just had movie nights together but there was no pressure to join and you could also just do your own thing. I did yoga at the rooftop, just chilled at the pool or enjoyed all the possibilities you have around the area. The breakfast, food ans drink options were really good as well. You really feel that they created the place with all their heart and they also fill this Oase with their hearts 🧡☺️ thanks for the wonderful stay - I really wanna come back one day :)

Everything was perfect. From the quiet location, to the cleanliness, comfort of the bed, how new and beautiful everything is. I would have stayed there for a month and will definitely stay again. It's the perfect mix of social and private, breakfast is really nice, common areas are comfy and beautiful.

Can't fault absolutely anything. Everything was absolutely perfect.
