Reviewed Dec 6, 2025Het lag op loopafstand van restaurants, strand, supermarkt. Het was een groot huis met 3 grote slaapkamers boven en een badkamer met ligbad en toilet. Beneden grote douche met toilet. Tuin en terras buiten. Wasmachine. Keuken met alles wat je maar kan bedenken. Een compleet huis en super schoon. De host reageert onmiddellijk. Parkeren kon op de straat.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2025A beautiful house/home which is fully equipped. It seriously had everything -except a TV, which was a bonus for a family holiday. Communication from our host was top notch both prior to and during our stay. Would highly recommend a booking if you’re considering a stay in Muizenberg.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2025Location - walk to surfers corner is 5 minutes. All the extras, like toilet paper and spices and charcoal, left for you to use.
The train hooting, starts at 5am, will annoy you if you let it, but I think it just added to the experience. The beds are very firm

Reviewed Sep 4, 2024The "Black Pearl" is in the heart of Muizenberg. Very close to the beach and a variety of cafés and restaurants. There is Checkers close by as well as the train station. The hosts (Sarah and Chris) are amazing-always available to help. The house is very cozy_we loved the fire place and spent most of our evenings in the lounge area. We also loved the patio areas. Everything about the house was impecable. I will definitely book the place again in future.

Reviewed Jan 23, 2024Gorgeous Victorian house with original features, eclectically and comfortably furnished. You won't mind cooking in the beautifully laid out kitchen with a stunning view up the mountain. All facilities are excellent. You can easily walk to shops and beach. Will come again but next time stay longer during the week to avoid weekend crowds.
Suggest coming in a small car as the old streets are narrow and parked up, and when you drive anywhere your street parking will be snapped up. Take note the original beautiful stairs are steep for the very young, elderly or those with tricky knees!
