Reviewed Sep 15, 2026I loved the environment, the room was spotless. Tsolo was so welcoming and very friendly. I feel l should have booked for the whole week. Am definitely going back. If you love nature then Vlei Cove is the place for you.

Reviewed May 30, 2026We spent 4 nights in this wonderful place and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It has everything needed for a great vacation. The location is peaceful, with stunning views, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. The management is friendly, responsive, and always willing to help.
The only downside I would mention is the high level of humidity. It would be helpful to have a heated towel rail, as our towels remained damp throughout our stay and were not replaced during that time. Overall, however, it was a very pleasant experience.

Reviewed May 10, 2026The internet was very slow, the water pressure of the shower was low, when the bathroom steams there is a possibility of slipping on the floor so I would recommend to put more fluffy and comfortable towels in the bathroom or just add extra towels for the floor.

It was perfect.Perfect stay for couples breakaway ,would recommend it to anyone Tholo was exceptional,very friendly explained everything,my favorite part was the beautiful sunset and the peddle boat .Thank you Vlei Cove you made my 21st Wedding Anniversary special with lots of memories to last for years to come .

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026Die friedliche Stimmung am Wasser. Wir durften sogar nach dem Auschecken noch eine Runde Tretboot fahren, was bei ruhiger "See" und nicht ganz so großer Hitze ein Traum ist. Tsholo hat sofort Kleinigkeiten, wie einen fehlenden Korkenzieher für uns besorgt. Sie ist sehr nett und gebildet.
Es gab zuwenig Gelegenheit, sich mit Tsholo zu unterhalten😉

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026Die Möblierung des Appartements war sehr geschmackvoll, die Lage nilderbuchmässig, sehr ruhig. Ein kleines Highlight war die Möglichkeit mit dem Boot die Umgebung zu erkunden.
Die Ausstattung der Küche war sparsam und die Lage der Terrasse war nicht optimal.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026Tsholo was extremely quick to respond to any questions or when we needed something. The room was immaculately clean. There were many cooking utensils available. The view is even better than the pictures and the neighborhood is quiet and pristine. The bed is extremely comfortable and soft but not bouncy. The suburb is lovely to walk around in the evening or morning.
Nothing, even though the municipality was working on the waterlines Tsholo kept us well informed of the changed and hand delivered spring water for us to drink just incase we were worried.

Tsholo took her time to explain how everything works, warned us about the bugs should we leave windows opened and the sliding door. The views!! The best

We absolutely recommend visiting an island nearby. The apartment was clean. We made a check-in by ourselves following the instructions provided and saw the staff the day when we were leaving:)
There was only one thing: the bed’s mattress was too soft for us
