Reviewed Aug 21, 20261. No response on our query we found the safe box not working and we couldn't use it for the entire duration of our stay 2. Several request from contractors to check building systems (smoke detectors) with no prior notification.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026The Wanaka Modern Apartment was a highlight of our recent holiday in New Zealand. It was clean, quiet and beautifully furnished. Full kitchen facilities. High quality fixtures. Very competitive pricing. We stayed for three nights but would be happy to have an extended stay given how well featured it was. It is reasonably close to Wanaka town, which was ideal for us as we had a hire car. Very close to a range of local activities, especially the walking/ biking trails and lake Wanaka itself.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025We had a wonderful stay at this cute two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in Wanaka. The place was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is a little out of town, but very convenient with a store just downstairs and a local bar across the road. Entry was simple and hassle-free and the host was very accommodating, even adding a blender at our request, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great stay with all the comforts of home. Would happily recommend!
