There were a few minor maintenance and crockery /cutlery related issues and beds in second bedroom could have been more comfortable, but still value for money all things considered.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Check in was seamless. The smart TV with internet is a great bonus - you can sign in with your own accounts to watch Netflix etc. The provision of proper milk instead of creamers for coffee & tea is nice. The apartment is very well equipped.
The sofa is dirty and in need of a deep clean (a typical surface clean is not enough). There are dark spots of filth on the carpet. Don't fault the cleaners - it is something a "normal" clean can't fix. A deep cleaning/spring cleaning is needed. The tap in the shower is broken though usable. The two single beds are mechanical spring based - very noisy and they do not provide good back support. The noise from the road may bother light sleepers. The sectional title scheme were the unit is located is in need of some TLC.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026It had everything you need for a overnight stay. I could see they made an effort to furnish it well and beds were comfortable. I took a chance not knowing the area and accomodation is pretty cheap. So I would say it's probably good for what you pay.
Couches and carpet in lounge were filthy. Felt disquisted to even sit on it. Alot of mould in bathroom.

The pool shown in the pictures is not there. Perhaps it's a complex pool, somewhere in the complex. Stove takes time to heat up. Some parts of the stove, do not heat up at all. Hot water doesn't last, eventually Cold Water comes. Then the cold water got cut at 09h45am, 15mins to check out.

The geyser was not on. No hot water. No dustbin. The braai area was not cleaned from previous use. The cutlery was not clean.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025The property was clean considering that this was a late night emergency booking, the host was quick to respond and make access into the estate seamless. The property was a typical home away from home, it was fully packed with all necessary furniture and equipment one would require in the own homes. The kitchen had enough utensils and crockery, the bathrooms had more than enough towels, the beds had electronic blankets, the smart tv had all loaded complimentary profiles on all streaming platforms, the WiFi is quite good.
Everything was good, perhaps some plates on the stove could be checked, I got the sense that the bigger plates were a bit slow. But this didn’t take away the experience of cooking effortlessly

The apartment was clean, beautiful and cosy. The host provided all the information needed for the stay. Will definitely stay there again if I am in Mbombela.

I didn’t like the power outages, which lasted around two hours or sometimes even longer, occurring multiple times a day. Also, the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms was inconvenient.

There was no supplies like salt and oil, so had to go out to get some when started cooking. Luckily the property is not far from shops
