There wasn’t enough chairs for a 17 sleep house. Not everyone could sit and eat together or sit in the sitting room together

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Really clean and comfortable had everything we needed. Pleased with the smart tv that we could cast to. Loads of rooms.
Only minor inconveniences: We had to take a lot of taxis, just out of really easy walking range of the city centre. Showers (electric) were a little hard to understand. High was too hot, low was too cold. Apparently eco was the way to go.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Large sizable house with private parking in the back. 15-20 minute walk to the latin quarters. It was a perfect fit for what we needed as a large family on holiday. The hosts were great in responding to any questions we had during the stay. We took the bus to the city one time but in the end we preferred walking.
Kitchen could have been better equipped with dishwasher tablets, kitchen towels and a few more tea towels. Hand/face towels in the bathrooms would also have been welcomed.

Only negative one of the bathroom sinks was leaking but it was fixed the next day. The remote to the television also did not work but we were only there 2 days so it wasn’t a huge deal. Joe was super nice and friendly!

Reviewed Sep 2, 2025My Family and I had a fantastic 3 night stay Galway. The house was plenty big for 16 of us (11 Adults and 5 Children). We where in town for a family wedding and the house was well situated between the city centre and Salthill. Very clean with Tea and coffee for arrival. Joe, the host checked in a couple of times via message to make sure we had everything we needed. We even got to check in 4 hours early which was much appreciated after long travels from England and Belfast.
I would say it could be difficult to get out of the front drive way as the house is on a busy main road. (Not that you could hear any road noise, we all had great nights sleep) There is plenty of space at the rear of the house to park and this was such easier to get in and out off.

I couldn't sleep with the noise on the road. The windows need to be updated. It wasnt as clean as the reviews made out. The table is too small to facilitate the amount of ppl in the house. It said terrace but I wouldn't say terrace just a space to park 2 cars. It was awkward coming out the front onto a main road with traffic lights. The showers were weak and some went from cold to hot. I tried 2 different ones.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2025There was so much space and the bedrooms were really nice and spacious. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Check in and check out was a very smooth process and we had a very enjoyable stay. The location is also very close to the city centre which made it very easy to explore the city!
I wish there was a bigger dining table or more seats as it was difficult for all 17 to have a meal all at once.

Lots of stairs (some of our group have mobility issues), narrow driveway and on a busy street made it difficult to park/pull in and out of driveway. Directions on using the appliances (stove,washer, dryer) would be helpful for guests.
