清水寺のすぐ近くにあり、部屋が広く清潔で冷蔵庫も大きく、バス・トイレが別々で、すべてにおいて満足でした。寝具も良いものでぐっすり眠れました。 ランドリーもあり、宿のスタッフの方も親切で心地よく過ごせました。 事前のやり取りで質問にも丁寧に答えていただき、親切でした。

部屋がとても清潔に保たれています。 スタッフの方がとても丁寧に部屋、施設の説明をしてくれます。 清水寺へは徒歩5分以内です。開門6時入りが容易で、観光客の方が少なかったです。効率よく旅行のスケジュールが立てられます。

（良くない、というか利用の際にお気を付けを！）清水寺へのマップナビを使うと近隣にお住まいの方の私道に入り込んでしまい、ご迷惑をかけてしまいます。スタッフの方に、ルートを確認するとよいと思います。

This place was a haven during the heatwave! So close to gorgeous temples and food. Plus not too far to get other transport (the nearest bus stop is about 6 mins down the hill). Plus it was large and well appointed with a bathtub, excellent aircon and a kitchenette area with a small fridge and a sink. Plenty of cupboards for storing clothes and luggage, which made our four night stay really relaxing.

It took us a while to figure out how to use the bathtub haha 9but it was very worth it when we did)

위치는 아주 좋았습니다. 청수사 택시와 버스 타는곳 바로 밑이었어요. 숙소 자체는 깔끔했음. 새벽에 일찍 청수사를 방문하려는 계획으로 이 숙소를 잡았으나 전혀 가지 못했음. 왜냐면 거리상은 청수사가 가까울지 모르지만 오르막길이라 엄두가 안남

다만 짐이 있는 상태에서 버스나 택시 타는곳에서 숙소를 가려면 계단으로만 되어 있고 관광지라서 그런지 17시 이후에는 주변 편의점이나 슈퍼는 아예 없고 식당도 없어서 택시타고 10분거리의 기온으로 가야 됨. 숙소에서 큰길로 15분정도 걸어가는 곳에 편의점 있음. 큰길 편의점 갔다가 숙소오는 길은 오르막길이라 힘들었음. 숙소 관리자와 연락하려면 방법이 없었고 부킹닷컴을 통해 연락을 하면 답변이 안왔음. 숙소에 관해 문의하였으나 답변은 전혀 받을 수 없었음. 숙소의 구조는 정확히 ㄱ자임. 통로같은 ㄱ 자였음. 통로는 한사람 지나갈 정도, 솔직히 교토 따로 여행갈 계획은 있으나 다시 예약은 안할거 같음. 너무 힘들었던 기억이라 ....

This is by far the best hotel and the best value for money I’ve ever stayed at in Japan/Kyoto. Everything in the room is new, modern, and spotlessly clean. The location was also excellent—very close to major tourist attractions and extremely convenient for getting around. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, yet the accommodation remained peaceful and quiet at all times. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us great recommendations for sightseeing spots and local restaurants, and even took the time to show us how to use the various facilities and appliances in the room. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Kyoto.

La chambre était très confortable, parfaitement entretenue et très agréable. Les lits étaient excellents et la literie de grande qualité, ce qui nous a permis de très bien nous reposer. Nous avons également beaucoup aimé la salle de bain, moderne, spacieuse et très agréable à utiliser. Tout était réuni pour passer un séjour inoubliable à Kyoto. The situation became even more uncomfortable when the neighbouring residents, who were understandably frustrated by the confusion, confronted us. It was a stressful first impression that could have been avoided with better booking management and communication. Once the issue was resolved, we enjoyed our stay and found the accommodation comfortable. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. For a family of four, the apartment was not stocked with enough kitchenware, toiletries, or mirrors, which made it less convenient than expected. Despite the disappointing check-in experience, the excellent location and comfortable accommodation made for an enjoyable stay overall. With better organisation at check-in and a few additional amenities for larger groups, this would be an easy place to recommend.

La ubicación es estupenda en una zona con todo el encanto tradicional japonés. A unos minutos a pie de Kiyomizu Dera y de las calles tradicionales de Gion. Las instalaciones son nuevas y todo super limpio. Las camas/almohadas comodísimas. El anfitrión Yutaka es de 10, siempre disponible para lo que necesites y dar recomendaciones. En la calle hay un sitio para alquilar unos kimonos preciosos y que resulta muy práctico. Recomiendo 100% este alojamiento

This was a brilliant location in the old part of Kyoto, perfect for exploring everything that the Higashiyama area has to offer. The host was absolutely delightful and so helpful and we would recommend staying here without question.

Bit of a trek with suitcases, but nothing that a taxi ride can't sort out. Beware of the taxi journey to Kyoto Shinkansen from here though, as you spend half your fare on the final 100m waiting to turn right! If we had our time again...we would plan to get off somewhere close by, rather than at the actual station!

The apartment is located in a very good area, close to many tourist attractions, but still quiet. The room we received would have been comfortable, but we were disappointed with the equipment. The description showed a fully equipped kitchen, but we only had a refrigerator, a kettle and a stove, which we could not use because there was no dishes, plates or cutlery. So they were useless. Otherwise, the room is well equipped with quality sanitary facilities and a very comfortable bed. Yukata San was kind to us, but the disappointment of not receiving a room according to the description remains. I have read other reviews that were very positive and in which tourists benefited from all the facilities. So it may have been an accident in our case.

The accomodation was super comfortable, beds were the best on my whole trip. Bathroom and bath also great quality. The location also worked well for me as it was a busy area during the day while I was out exploring and quiet at night when I wanted to chill out.

It was tricky to walk past the tv without catching my shirt or bumping with my shouleder. Maybe it could use some kind of shield or barrier or height adjustment so there is more room to walk between the beds and wall mounted tv. Not a big issue though....

Posizione ottima, sia per la visita della città, che per spostarsi in metro e bus al centro di Kyoto. L'Host è estremamente gentile e simpatico. La struttura dispone di ogni tipo di comfort (bagno, vasca/doccia, lavatrice con asciugatrice, cucina)

Il mio consiglio è solo quello di cercare di non essere in più di 4 ad occupare la struttura, per non rischiare di stare un pò strettini. Per il resto, nient'altro da dire, solo un consiglio per vivere l'esperienza a pieno.

De eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je kon hem steeds contacteren via Whatsapp. We mochten ook onze bagage in de kamer achterlaten en ‘s namiddags oppikken.

We hadden een kamer met twee tweepersoonsbedden gehuurd. Echter waren dit 2 éénpersoonsbedden. Deze bedden moesten we tegen elkaar schuiven zodat we er met 3 volwassenen konden in liggen. Dit was allesbehalve comfortabel. Voor 2 personen is de kamer wel goed. Geen keukengerei beschikbaar (enkel kopjes om uit te drinken).

이번이 3번째 방문인데 늘 갈 때마다 친절하게 맞이해주셔서 교토 여행 할 일이 생기면 무조건 이 숙소부터 찾아보게 되었어요. 그리고 숙소가 청수사와 니넨자카 산넨자카 근처라 아침에 가벼운 산책으로 구경하기는 좋은 거 같아요. 다만 교토역에서 거리가 살짝 있는 점이 아마 유일한 단점이라면 단점인 거 같아요

The room was not ready when we arrived bit earlier than informed but it was after the check-in time. Beds in the living room covers most of the space and wall TV is nuisance when walking across the living area. May be remove one of the beds and provide futon option in tatami room. Kitchen not sufficient for cooking and even just heating. Very small bowls, huge heavy glasses and expensive small plates, nothing practical and convenient. Fruit fork in the name of fork. No reusable chopsticks which was unbelievable. When asked for big bowls and chopsticks, we got cheap plastic bowls which can’t be good for heating in the microwave and single use chopsticks. No general use tissues so had to buy them ourselves. We had to struggle for toilet tissue during the weekend since no spare available in the room. It seems the room is considered premium but the service and facilities in the room not up to the standard.

The location is exelent just in the old part of Kyoto. On a very quaet street. It is not far from Kyoto railway station. However it is recommanded to take taxi to the hotel. The staff in the hotel is very eager to help gests with their stay.

The street is very narrow and it is a chalenge to get a taxi in front of the hotel. It is written that in the room there is a kitchen but infact тhere is a stove, but there are no cutlery, plates, or utensils to heat up the food you bought from outside.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wir wurden sehr nett in Empfang genommen. Die Betten waren Topp - wir konnten sehr gut schlafen, selbst mein Mann, der in fremden Betten eher schlecht schläft. Die Matratzen waren von hoher Qualität.

Wie in einer Ferienwohnung zu erwarten, ist eine kleine Küchenzeile vorhanden. Leider hat diese keine Ausstattung, bis auf einen Wasserkocher und zwei Tassen. Das ist wichtig zu wissen, falls man plant, in der Wohnung zu essen oder vielleicht sogar zu kochen.

The apartment itself is beautiful and everything feels high quality. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from some of the most popular attractions in the historic area of Kyoto. Having access to a washing machine and a well-equipped kitchen was also very convenient during our trip.

Overall, we felt very comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. The only small point is that the kitchen could be better prepared to host a family of four. There were only two glasses and two cups, which made it a bit less practical for us. Even so, it is a wonderful place and I would definitely stay here again. My rating: 9.5/10.

I had a wonderful stay at Kyo no Yado En. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to explore Kyoto’s main attractions while still enjoying a quiet and traditional atmosphere. The hospitality was truly outstanding – the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Their kindness and professionalism made the experience even more memorable.

Прекрасный район! Всего 15 минут на автобусе со станции Киото на 206 автобусе, (отходит с D2 на станции Киото). При этом, от отеля идти до автобусной остановки Gojozaka всего 5 минут. Отель расположен в тихом переулке, но выйдя из отеля и пройдя 7-10 метров вы выходите на оживленную торговую улочку. В 7 минутах ходьбы супермаркет 7/11. Вокруг много точек для перекуса и кафе. В 300-400 метрах расположен храм. Мы бронировали большой семейный номер! Он был великолепен! В апартаментах есть даже японская комната с татами, которая очень понравилась нашему ребенку! Сами апартаменты спроектированы с умом. Каждое пространство используется грамотно! В апартаментах ощущается, что дизайн действительно продуманный до мелочей! Прекрасная техника, все современное, новое, чистое! Отдельно отмечу матрасы и постельное белье! Такого качества мы нигде не встречали! В отеле очень тихо, за все время пребывания мы не слышали и даже не видели соседей. Очень хорошая шумоизоляция. Есть также лифт. Хозяин отеля заботится о комфорте постояльцев! Сам меняет полотенца ежедневно, подробно рассказывает об интересующих для посещения храмах, магазинах, кафе и обменниках. Благодарим Ютака сан за вашу заботу и за прекрасный атмосферный отель! Это действительно лучший выбор отеля!!! Самый комфортный за все время пребывания в Японии! Отдельно отметим как Киото, так и Японию в целом, это действительно великолепно!!! Япония в нашем сердце!♥️

This is a very special place. Nice touches like culturally significant wallpaper and quality bedding. Useful facilities including washing machine, drinking water in the fridge. A clean, friendly, family-run hotel in a quiet location close to everything.

We liked everything.

Close to temples you are wanting to see and only a short bus ride to the main station or other sights around Kyoto. The "hill" people talk of is very gentle and not too taxing, even with heavy luggage. Room is big for japan and spotlessly clean. Quiet neighborhood in the evening.

The reception is not manned and I only saw the owner on arrival. However they are easily reachable by booking.com or whatsapp. The lights from the TV and Wifi box are always on and are bright when the main lights are off. It would be nice to cover these so the room is completely dark for sleeping as these are quite bright. My room lock was simple and directly linked to the room number so it did not feel 100% secure, could easily be guessed in my opinion. Big lack of local restaurants nearby, had to travel to find food places.
