River Breeze Villa, 5 minutes to beach and town

The location was fine. It was near to the town centre for shops. The property was well equipped for self catering. There were plenty of towels and toiletries. There were 2 large televisions, if this is important to you. It was very private. Plenty of food shops around if you do want to self cater.

There were several things wrong. The property is very small and only for 2 people. it was very cluttered with very large, unnecessary, furniture which made it very cramped. The worst thing, which is not the fault of the owner, but which is very important is; the noise from the road was horrendous. It made conversation very difficult. Youths doing Wheelies on motor bikes. Screeching of brakes. Drivers with huge speakers pointing out the windows playing music. Soufriere was very disappointing. Difficult to find any of the restaurants open at all. Local people very friendly and helpful but not the restaurant owners.

Everything was amazing, friendly hosts, beautiful space and amazing sunsets at the beach.

I really enjoyed my stay here. They thought of everything: there were mosquito coils in a kitchen drawer, citronella candles, and a mosquito zapper in the room. There are two TVs, in the bedroom and the living room. There were also a couple snacks available for me when I got there--granola bars, plantain chips, and a few bottles of water, and a couple cans of juice and soda in the fridge. There was also tea bags and instant coffee available. There were also bath robes for the guest to use, and extra towels. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion. I did laundry (and there was tide available too!) but had some confusion with the machine, it kept running for about three hours but that was probably my error. Other tip: make sure you keep the shower curtain liner inside the shower rim. I forgot to do this my first shower and had to clean up a ton of water. Every other shower was great once I checked this. The owners were super responsive and available. If I messaged them in the app they replied right away. The location was great: about a 10-15 minute walk to massey's, the big grocery store, and close to other shops, and about five minutes walking to the closest beach and closer to the bus station (note: buses are 6am-6pm and are regular from 6-930am--though the couple times I took the bus to/from vieux fort I never waited long).
