Villa Strömma Värmdö - Scandinavian Living - Sea, Nature and Comfort 35 min to Stockholm

• die ruhige Lage • das große, wunderschöne Haus • die gut ausgestattete Küche • die Terrassen mit Grill, Liegestühlen, Sitzmöglichkeiten • der große Parkplatz am Haus • die Nähe zu zwei Golfplätzen • und natürlich die netten Vermieter, die für alles gesorgt hatten, sogar für Getränke im Kühlschrank!

Es gab nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat!

Tolles Haus, hervorragende, ruhige Lage, sehr gute Ausstattung, großer Außenbereich.

Das Haus ist, wie beschrieben, voll ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Mit dem Auto ist auch Stavsnäs sehr gut erreichbar, z.B. für weitere Ausflüge mit den Fähren.

Everything was perfect. Our host family provided with all necessary information (check in and tourist information) before hand, so everything was available in time. All request/question have been answered swiftly. The various terraces will help to have a sunny place for the whole day. Kitchen and grill station are well equipped to prepare proper meals. It is a quiet area and two restaurants are within walking distance. Within a 15 minutes drive you will find a huge commercial area where everything is available you might need during your stay. Needless to mention lovely hiking routes are staring from the house. A drive to Stockholm took us at least less than 35 minutes!

Krásne prostredie na dovolenku s deťmi. Veľmi kľudne a blízko Stockholmu. Dom bol veľmi priestranný a v kuchyni je skvelo vybavená. Hostitelia sú veľmi ústretový a keď máte problém hneď sa ho snažia vyriešiť. Bolo nám tu skvelo a radi sa niekedy vrátime.

The house has a perfect location, just outside the city and close the the archipelago and national parks. Also, a lot of space outside in the garden and really cosy inside. Everything is provided. Absolutely perfect for our stay!

Sehr großzügig ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit einer großen Terrasse in einer sehr schönen, ruhigen Umgebung inmitten der Natur. Gute Anbindung an Stockholm (halbe Stunde mit Auto). Die Wohnung ließ keine Wünsche offen und war sehr sauber. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern per WhatsApp. Alle Fragen wurden schnell und freundlich beantwortet.

The house was spacious, beautifully presented, relaxing, full of light and was well appointed. The garden / grounds were large which meant we were not overlooked. It was very peaceful and we were surrounded by nature. The main access road into Stockholm was convenient and it was a 10 minute walk to a bus stop, 2 restaurants and the water. We hired a car and there were other bathing spots, a large retail park with supermarket, and other places to eat within a short drive. I took daily 90min - 2 hrs walks in the surrounding countryside on the signposted varmdoleden paths in the morning and saw: deer, storks, a badger, bird of prey, an otter, tens of baby frogs and lots of young dragon flies. It was incredible. We drove short distances to 3 different ferry points and sailed to different neighbouring islands.

Nothing

It feels like home away from home. All you need is there - dishwasher, washing machine etc. and everything you need in the kitchen. There are also plenty of sitting areas on the terrace and a lot of lounge chairs. It looks really like in the photos on Booking. The beds are very comfortable and we slept very well. It’s very peaceful but not isolated with the view of the greenery. If you like to walk, you could enjoy a lots of walking on gravel roads in the forest. Wi-Fi works very well. We did some work there and it worked perfectly. If you are not used to the light during the night which is normal during the summer and as the doors to the bedrooms have small windows, we suggest to do what we did and that is to put the aluminum foil on it, so that it’s dark. The owners are very nice and very responsive. There is a nice restaurant Strömma Krog by the water where you can park you car, you just need to tell to the staff at the restaurant on arrival. We ate also at the golf course Fågelbro nearby where they also have dishes of the day and you can enjoy the Swedish food. We recommend this property without any hesitation. We could imagine to come back again. It was a perfect family vacation.

Everything was perfect.

The house is situated beautifully and quietly at the end of a small road, with lovely views of trees from every window. Lots of outside decking which would be fantastic to use in summer. A couple of places to eat within walking distance (we tried the Bistro for sitting in and takeaway; both good). Location within easy reach of Stockholm (35-40 mins). The house itself is lovely and cosy, very comfortable and extremely well equipped.

Nothing - we loved it. Just be aware there are some steps up to the door of the property - not a problem for us.

We had a wonderful time there. The comfort and environment is magical. A good starting point for exploring the surrounding natural beauty or/and Stockholm. This is a beautiful villa set in a nice environment with views of the greenery. There are other buildings nearby, but they don't disturb the view, and you don't even know about them. The plot is large and thanks to the terraces it offers possibilities for relaxation or barbecue. The villa is spacious and provides all the comfort and equipment you need. Spending time here is very pleasant and you won't want to go out :). There is a pleasant restaurant and pizza bistro in the nearby marina.

I have nothing to complain about.
