Blush Jungle - Homestay

Everything was very nice, new and clean. Large room with plenty of storage. The bathroom was clean too. Host is very nice and helpful. There was an EU power adapter in the room. Wifi available and fast. The textured rug under the bed felt like a foot massage after long days of walking. The house is located in a pretty nice neighborhood with a quick walk to the bus stop with frequent service.

Just small details. Very short shower hose, could barely get it up to my head to wash my hair and I'm about average height. The shower head on the hose was a bit older and leaky, sprayed to the sides. Seems like a cheap fix.

la habitación tiene todo para que resulte cómoda la estancia: TV, wifi, frigorífico, hervidor, vajilla, secador de pelo… el anfitrión es muy agradable y se nota mucho esmero para que los huéspedes se sientan bien acogidos. Muy recomendable

Nice, clean and well equipped room. The bathroom is shared with another room. Very well located if you want to go to the airport and when you have a car.

The acoustic isolation from the other room is not complete but this is not really disturbing.

De ligging, de badkamer (er hing een stinkende handdoek naast de lavabo) maar vooral de ontvangst: geen host gezien enkel op de dag van aankomst een heel lang bericht via whatsapp met allerlei instructies (schoenen uit) en vooral waarschuwingen ivm boetes: €50 te betalen als je vlekken op de lakens maakt, €30 tot€50 als je de kamer niet proper achterlaat. Geen info over vervoer naar de stad of andere tips.

Le lieu difficile à trouver même avec Google map, et éloigné de la ville, Bien pour prendre un avion, mais y rester plusieurs jours ne semble pas adapté.

House & room was spotless Bed was very comfortable Def recommend using the provided earplugs. We had the window open at night due to warm weather & neighbourhood dogs disturbed sleep the first night. Obviously this isn't any fault of the host but he has thought of leaving earplugs to counteract this. On 2nd night I used the earplugs & slept the whole night through

Not easy to get into the city by public transport. Rather noisy at night with the window open (traffic and barking dogs).

Beaucoup trop chaud dans les chambres, en mai en Irlande c’est pourtant étonnant ! Obligés de mouiller une serviette et dormir avec. Et non, impossible d’ouvrir les fenêtres, les chiens du voisinage hurlent toutes les nuit + la route est trop proche

The room was very comfy and clean. Nice big TV and some lovely coffee and tea. The bed was perfect. Was very impressed with the room. The F3 bus brings you very close to the property so its just one bus drive from the city. Easy to get in and out.

If you are a sensitive sleeper or wake up easily I would advise bringing ear plugs. There seems to be a lot of dogs in the area and they do tend to shut up during the night but can randomly start barking at any point. Luckily I had my earplugs so I slept through that. Not that its a problem just its best to know so you can come prepared.

Extremely clean and spacious. The room was great and the host was very friendly. The location could be better but it is not far away from the centre and there is a bus stop in the area.

The bathroom has a glass door, not transparent more like frosted glass but it was weird going to the bathroom.

Chambre spacieuse, bien équipée ( petit frigo, grande télé ), quartier résidentiel calme Salle de bains commune à trois chambres mais propre et pratique. Daniel ( que nous n avons pas vu ) est très sympa et discret.

L'arrêt de bus pour aller dans le centre ville de Dublin est un peu loin ( entre 10 et 15 mn à pied ) et il faut compter ensuite environ 30 mn de bus pour arriver au centre ville Possibilité d aller en bus à l aéroport mais ce n est pas direct, il faut prendre 2 bus differents

Handy location for the sports Arena. Friendly host. Clean room.

Only niggles would be that it would have been nice to have some milk in the fridge for a cup of coffee or tea after flying in but couldn't fault anything else. Excellent stay. Would recommend.

Locatie, bedden en badkamer waren prima. Verder was er genoeg ruimte in de kast voor onze kleding.

De temperatuur in de kamer was s’avonds koud, en er was continue geblaf van honden. In de toekomst zou een koffie/thee apparaat wel handig zijn op de kamer.

Room in a shared house. Host was friendly but room right next to bathroom. Other occupants using shower/ bathroom all evening kept us awake. Located opposite halting site. Noisy dogs barking. Couldn't sleep until after midnight. Paper thin walls. Comfortable Bed and Clean.

Noisy. Not ideal if you need to get some sleep. We had a 5am wake up to get a flight. Exhausted.

Das Bett war seht bequem und das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet mit einer tollen Atmosphäre. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und der Preis angemessen. Es war ruhig und der Check-in war mehr oder weniger unkompliziert.

Bis zum Stadtzentrum fährt man etwa 40 Minuten mit dem Bus. Man musste ein wenig durch den Privatbereich des Besitzers bis zu seinem Zimmer. Das Badezimmer wird mit anderen geteilt, was aber auch so deklariert wurde.

Daniel was an amazing host! Super kind and helpful. The room was cozy and perfect for a weekend. I will definitely stay here again!

L’arredamento della camera era carino

Non ci siamo sentiti sicuri nel quartiere in cui la Homestay si trova; non è a 5km dall’aeroporto ma a una decina; per cenare nei dintorni non c’è assolutamente niente (il pub indicato indicato a 650m é in realtà a 2-3km); il costo della camera è troppo alto per la zona in cui si trova e visto che il bagno è in comune

Ho scelto questa struttura perché abbastanza vicina all'aeroporto. Tuttavia arrivarci con i mezzi pubblici non é agevole e anche per tornare in aeroporto occorre prendere due mezzi impiegando quasi un'ora. La struttura, comunque, é gradevole, silenziosa e comoda.

La chambre très propre, confortable et bien équipée. Daniel est très arrangeant et sympathique.

L’emplacement un peu éloigné du centre du Dublin n’est pas idéal mais permet quand même de se rendre rapidement à l’aéroport.

Bon rapport qualité/ prix. Jolie chambre aménagée avec goût et confortable. Nous avons trouvé pratique la proximité avec le bus pour aller sur Dublin centre.

Super clean, bed very comfortable and Daniel is amazing host.

The host, Daniel, was flexible with check-in. The room was clean and modern with lots of space for clothes hanging and the bed was very comfortable. The area was relatively quiet. There was some water and glasses and small snacks provided on the first day. The shared bathroom was clean and spacious. It was comfortable enough for a couple of nights. An iron and board were provided on request and there was a hairdryer and European to UK/IE plug converter in the room.

No coffee or tea in the morning, or any time, sadly. The kitchen and living room area were off limits to guests and although we heard people coming and going, and heard the hosts in the kitchen as we were leaving one morning, we never saw anybody and this felt a bit strange and impersonal. We kind of felt like we should make ourselves as quiet and invisible as possible. It's all very automated, though that also makes if convenient. The area is a bit rough and remote. Even the closest shop is something like a 15 minute walk. Having breakfast in the morning was a challenge. After we checked ourselves out we heard nothing more from the host. Daniel told me he would lend me a Leap Card but I guess he forgot and I had to buy one. We still don't know who lives there. It felt more like a cross between an Airbnb and a hostel than a homestay really. Everything from IKEA, even the wall art, which was a bit depressing. Also, there was no fan.

The host was very friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and got to use the kitchen for breakfast which was great. Neighbourhood felt safe and the public transportation was convenient. The fact that the bathroom is shared wasn’t a problem.

The bus to the airport is not the most convenient, because it makes a longer trip.

The room was decorated lovely and spotlessly clean .

No tea or coffee station and a television would have been nice in the room .location was perfect for us as we were attending Cappagh Hospital which was only four mins away .

Felt like we couldn't relax we came in around half 12 at night to go to bed and got a text from the owner straight away saying we were being noisy I dropped my phone by accident and got a text immediately about it to keep it down. Also someone was hovering and making excessive noise downstairs first thing in the morning so it was very hypocritical to get that text the way we did. The room we had also didn't have a TV.

The bed was nice, and they clearly tried to make the room welcoming.

It should have been clear on the website that this is in somebody's house. When I've booked shared residences in the past, the whole building is segmented rooms that are individually booked out or the person living there is away from the rented space and you don't share a space. When we got there, it was clearly just somebody's house, and there was a person in the living room playing video games with volume, camera, and mic on. This was not what we expected. The wifi was too slow to watch anything, and although the host can't control other people in the house, people came in at 11:30pm dragging their cases up the stairs, then reorganized their closets to which we heard metal hangers scraping against the metal bar, they continuously slammed the wardrobe doors, got in a fight, threw up violently then took 4 back to back showers. They finally quieted around 1:30am. There were kids in the park across from the residence setting off small fireworks for hours on end - I'm impressed they had so many fireworks. There were two dogs close by that barked incessantly all night, and I think the host has pets they didn't tell about on the booking website because my clothes were covered in short hairs from the bed, and my allergies were acting up. The mini fridge was not plugged in, so it smelled gross when you opened it, and there was some pink and sticky liquid on the shelves that was starting to smell rancid. If I had known what I was signing myself up for, I don't think I would have booked the space. But it's a fair price for being close to the airport.

Both the room and bathroom were beautifully furnished and very clean. Most of all, our host Daniel was extremely kind and welcoming, accommodating for a late check-in and going out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Additionally, the bus stop for bus line 40 to the city centre was less than a 10 minute walk away.

The rooms may look appealing as shown in the picture, but the area is classified as a high-risk social zone. Area Condition: This area has been deemed unsafe based on multiple warnings from three separate individuals. Their concerns were validated through our research on Google, confirming the risks associated with staying here. Immediate Action: Based on these credible warnings, we vacated the area immediately and found alternative accommodation. Important Advice: Before you book any rooms, please take extra precautions. The rooms may appear attractive, but the surrounding area is dangerous.

The room itself was comfortable, and the host was nice.

1) The shared bathroom was not clean. The sink would not drain, and the bathtub was dirty. 2) I did not realize based on the description in booking.com that this is a house, with the rooms being booked as a bed and breakfast style description. There were two other people in the two other bedrooms of the house. Both were loud and used very bad language - I’m traveling with my 10-year-old daughter and this language late at night was not appreciated. 3) I was told we could use the kitchen to prepare our own breakfast. There was food in the trash can that had been there for a while, and cigarette butts had clearly been emptied into another trash can. All surfaces were dirty, and it was not very usable. 4) we were kept up until late in the evening by dogs barking loudly. If I were 20 years old wanting to book rooms in a hostel-like environment, I would have had no problem with this place - however, then I would have found it exceedingly expensive. My experience here simply did not justify the price. I think the description should be updated to explain a bit better. I would not have booked this place if I had known what it actually was - it’s not appropriate for traveling with a child.

It was near enough for me to the airport. It was a very nice room. The bed was comfortable. It was clean and modern.

I could hear dogs barking in the distance early in the evening. The bathroom was shared. I received very clear messages but no direct human contact. I did not like the street parking.

Clean place, not too close nor too far from city centre

No breakfast., no host, creepy without a host for 4 da6s and other guests staying there that I never saw. Someone opened my door in the night so I had to be very careful to lock my door even when going to the bathroom. They key and lock were difficult to operate The hist still had Christmas decorations up like he hadn't been there in months. It really bothered me that the host wasn't there, and he never checked on me over the phone.

The apartment was clean, the host prepared some snacks and toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and the host was very helpful - we did not have small money to buy tickets, so he helped us with that issue. Big thanks!

It is not a disadvantage, however note that the property is about 30-40 minutes by bus from the city center.
