Pre stay prep from cleaner I.e. take clean items out of dishwasher prior to visitors staying. Check and replace u/s items like light bulbs and fill respectable dish soap with solutions for duration of visitor stay. Suggest property owner check guttering above garage as water ingress was present during rain fall. This will cause long term damage to the property.

A great house! Had everything we needed, bedrooms and beds were comfy, kitchen well appointed, outside deck amazing, great location to Richmond.

The only thing being an older house, toilet was in bathroom, not separate, if that doesn't bother you, (we coped with x4) it is a great house and place to stay.

Just felt like home, was cosy , clean!

Very comfortable, we only slept there and showered. Shower pressure was excellent. Close to Richmond mall. Walking distance.

Beds comfortable. Nice towels, shampoo and soap provided.

We wanted to have a bbq but it hadn't been cleaned so we didn't use it

The house is simple but spotless and welcoming. It was quiet and comfortable.

I was hoping to find some milk in the fridge for a cuppa - maybe something to add for future guests.

Location

Short of hot water for shower of 5 persons, only enough for 2 persons. Poor maintenance- found out that cylinder was leaking. A small live cockroach was found in the front double room. Power socket for bedside table lamp in odd location in the rear double room. Only one side provided with bedside table lamp. Poor cleaning - dust on lounge table

Kitchen was starting to get a little old and needs some attention. Wasn’t super clean with long black hairs everywhere.

Everything was exceptional the host was amazing loved our location just a 5min walk up the road from all the shops just an all around beautiful place loved our stay, would stay again in a heartbeat. I recommended this gorgeous place to all my whanau.

Perhaps a waste paper basket in the bathroom would be helpful. Some parts of the house looks a bit tired, like the kitchen cabinets and some of the windows.

The location was great being just a two minute drive from the centre of Richmond. The size of the home including the living area far exceeded my expectations. Plenty of room both indoors and out with a lovely garden and deck area. Easy to heat in winter with an efficient heat pump. Loads of towels supplied. Sandra was excellent with communications too. A pleasant and hassle free stay.

We all found the pillows too big. Would be nice to have some thinner ones available. Sadly the neighbours partied loud on Saturday night which wasn't the best especially when travelling with a young family. All quiet by 10pm though.

It would have been nice to have a heater in the bedrooms. We found it cold in the mornings.

Quiet area, close to main shopping area, clean and tidy in all rooms.

It was clean, tidy, had wifi, family games, a quiet sleepout, lovely shower, easy to follow House folder, i loved the entire experience. The best were soft and comfortable and there was plenty of linen and no extra cost, including the blankets and pillows.

I loved everything.

House was very clean .. perfect for what we needed. With small children the doors had locks up top that the kids couldn't reach so no worries they would run outside & onto the road. There was 7 of us 2 adults 16, 10, 6 & 4yo twins. We had alot of space & it wasn't confined. Loved it .. self checkin was super easy, Host was Absolutely brilliant with contact & replys.

The toilet in the bathroom, was hard witha big group with people showering etc.

Hi there, the house was very comfortable, the beds were comfortable, the location was good to anywhere around the Nelson area and the road was quiet and the house quite secluded.

The house was fine for the 3 of us, but if you had a full house with a lot of people, having the toilet in the one and only bathroom might have been a challenge. The hand towel rail in the bathroom is loose and fell off the wall a couple of times.

Clean, convenient location, nice outdoor space. Nice space.

Kitchen didn’t have any spices or oil, which was inconvenient. Also didn’t have a plastic spatula to use on the stove (only was a spatula for the grill). Bathroom towel holder was falling off the wall. Door to the twin bed room would open anytime the toilet flushed.

Very happy with the location ,the beds were super comfy with great indoor and outdoor space.plenty of space for the family.would recommend to others visiting Nelson.👍😀

Only one thing l felt the kitchen could do with tongs egg flip etc as it only had barbecue utensils which were too big to work with.

A perfect house for our one night trip to Nelson to attend a friends birthday. The house was easy to find with clear instructions and it was very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and a really good shower. There were only three of us so plenty of room.

Everything was good. Suited our purpose very well.

Was perfect with everything we needed. Great, easy to use space, well set up for a family holiday or time away with friends. We found it very comfy and loved the way it was set up. As well as a kitchen, there was a barbecue out on the deck with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The property is located a couple of minutes away from the mall, which was great, and was a great starting point for the day trips we took.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.
