Reviewed Mar 7, 2026We were very comfortable staying at Silver Fern Haven, the unit was very clean, bed comfortable and I appreciated having the washing machine and dryer to use. We had a car, so we could easily reach the town centre and up to Able Tasman NP.

Reviewed Jan 25, 2026Off street parking. Handy location as we had our own transport. Host accommodated our special needs. A completely private apartment. Spacious open plan well appointed kitchen, dinning area, lounge room. Separate bedroom, with comfy bed. Clean bathroom. Nice touch of fresh milk on arrival for a cup of tea or coffee. Every little thing thought of in advance. Home away home. I would rate this accommodation and host 110%.

Reviewed Mar 7, 2025It was quiet and clean, it had all the comforts and feeling of being at home. The hosts were very friendly. Recliner couch was a special bonus for a relaxing evening after a busy day of exploring Nelson and its surroundings. Location was good too. Not too far for shopping.

The driveway entrance is steep and on a busy road. Once we used a couple of times it wasn't difficult.

Reviewed Feb 18, 2025I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation! The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful—it was a pleasure to chat with them. From the start, everything was well-organized, and communication was excellent. Just a small note: After booking, I received a message with directions on how to reach the property. At first, the mention of a steep driveway sounded a bit unusual, but in reality, it was absolutely no problem at all. In fact, the parking situation was perfect! The owner even placed small cones to make maneuvering even easier, which was such a thoughtful touch. All in all, a wonderful experience! I can highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.
