Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Lovely property very comfortable. Ideal for attending wedding in castle.
Perhaps slightly pre information in relation to check in & directions.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026I was not told where to get keys to the property. I was told to go to stables which was locked up. When I finally found the cottage I realised the key was in the door. This should have been communicated prior to my arrival

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025Proximity to Bellingham Castle meant we could walk to a wedding we were attending - it was cosy, super clean and a really good stay.
There is nothing we didn’t like

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025The host let us stay longer as we had a late flight, this massively helped us out!
There wasn’t much instructions on how to leave the property etc. we weren’t sure whether to put all the towels somewhere or strip the beds for example.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2025Nice cottage
Drain in shower was blocked, water would not move from shower until toilet flushed. Water gurgling up kitchen sick. Hairs in shower. Cobwebs in apartment. Tried to contact owner after stay but they failed to reply to our email.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2024The privacy, the nature around it , it had everything we needed in a home. Beautiful fire with wood and coal provided, beautiful nature walk behind Bellingham Castle. Landlords were really lovely, helpful but non intrusive. Will definitely stay again :-) loved the electric gate with phone access control to just enter the estate of little farm villas.
No negatives.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2024The location was perfect as we were attending a wedding in Bellingham Castle. It was a few minute walk from the venue so great for what we needed.
Directions to the cottage were badly signposted once at the estate and when we arrived i had no instruction of how to access the keys. Thankfully someone answered my phone call and delivered the key to us, but this should be more clear.
