The location of the property is good, and the room is spacious and comfortable. However, the lighting could be improved, as it is not sufficient for a room of this size.

The room had several maintenance issues during my stay. The door's automatic lock was not functioning properly. There was no mosquito net on the window, which made the room feel poorly ventilated and resulted in a significant mosquito problem. Additionally, the bathroom drain was clogged, and the water flow from the tap was extremely slow. These washroom-related issues caused delays in my morning routine, and I was late for work as a result.

The Board with the name of the property needs to me put up more prominently. As of now, it can be missed easily.

The room was well decorated and it matched with the pictures given. The staff was very cordial and all the facilities listed in the description we're available. The location is very peaceful and is close to the top restaurants in Baner.

The only thing that can be added is better washroom flooring and a good shower.

Its a beautiful property and very peaceful one. The rooms are clean and the host both of them are smiling and helpful.

Decent price, basic but good facilities. Have options for food, tea and coffee.

The whole place smelled of smoke including the rooms and bathrooms. Offputting to non smokers . Could not arrange a single extra pillow despite requests.

Loved the overall ambience. It was quiet and the room was spacious. There isn't a TV but there is a sweet balcony and some good sitting spaces. You can order food and eat at the restaurant downstairs. It was a great experience and can't wait to come back.

I liked the homely feeling and lively vibes of the stay. Also the rooms are well maintained and the decor is also very attractive. Lights are soothing to your eyes. They have planned it well.

Nothing specific as such, expecting dental kit should be there in room. Because if we forgot to carry our own then it would be trouble. Otherwise everything else is perfect.

Quaint and Beautiful place in the centre of city. Very aesthetic and worth the money. The owner and caretakers are very helpful. They have their own cafe downstairs serving amazing coffee and an awesome collection of books. Ps. Cat lovers - there’s a cute friendly cat around.

1) The room with the balcony was a decent size 2) The room, the bathroom, the linen were all very clean 3) If you asked for a burnt out bulb to be replaced it was done 4) There was a kettle in the room for tea. Cups were brought if you asked for it

1) The two teenagers who took care of the place were never available. Check in was delayed immensely; so was check out 2) The breakfast was always very late because instead of relaying your breakfast request to the kitchen the staff was busy playing video games 3) A piece of advise: no matter how tired you are, eat somewhere before going back to the homestay. Dinner is not worth the wait

The place is excellent for solo travellers. The hosts, especially Sameer, are very warm and welcoming. The venue itself is quite solid, very cozy to be in, and the strategic placement of things is something I personally liked. There is an ironing board and an iron available if you need it, you are given a water bottle with a couple of glasses in the room and there's a water dispenser just outside. The size of the room was something I was seriously not expecting, it is big and you get ample space to breathe and unwind. In the room, you get a kettle, a cupboard with a few clothing hangers, and excellent ambiance. The house rules are very, very sane, understanding, and well-written. The bathroom too is very spacious and quite clean. You get fresh towels, hand soap and body wash, toilet paper and an instant geyser. Lastly and certainly not least, they also allow friends over as long as you simply provide their ID, no questions asked. They're very welcoming and accommodative.

Remember to carry your own toothpaste and tissue box, if you need it.

Clean, cozy, tastefully curated and well run property by friendly hosts. Close proximity to the 3-day event that we were attending made it convenient for us to stay here. Overall offered us great value.

Pune city is rapidly developing and there are several construction projects, roadworks, metro construction etc all around the Baner neighbourhood. So the general atmosphere seemed quite dusty… the air seemed especially heavier towards the evening and our car parked on the road outside was covered in a thick layer of dust the next morning.

I do not remember anything in particular which I did not like. The experience was as good as or better than what i expected in all the aspects.

That the stay wasn't longer

Very aesthetic room, the furniture and the lights are really impressive. We stayed in the room which had balcony attached to it. Perfect to sit out and chill. I will definitely recommend to others and will back definitely whenever I am in Pune !

The aesthetics of the place is really very good 😊 Loved it ❤️. They have a beautiful mirror and a table chair. The washroom is also very clean and tidy. Have a water filter available for drinking.

Nagarik Commune is a gem. It's beautiful; one can see that a lot of care, thought, and warmth has gone into curating this space. There is a small bookshelf with a lovely selection of books in the common area/living room, which also features super comfortable couches. The space allows for conversation and discussions to flow, if there are people. The room itself is also quite nice. It's spacious, has all the things one may need for a stay (hangers, towels, fresh linen), and abundant storage. I particularly loved the small space next to the window, which would allow one to sit, laze around, and read. The location is a plus too. You have access to a few ATMs, a pharmacy, and several restaurants. Plus, it's conveniently located from the airport and the railway station, with neither being too far. Sameer is a great host. The day I checked in, neither of my debit cards worked. But he was extremely gracious about it. Gestures like this are quite difficult to come by, and I think that attitude of kindness and generosity extends towards all aspects of Nagarik Commune. It's truly an endearing social space, making one feel compelled to return.

Highly unprofessional behaviour from the host. I had booked two rooms one month before my travel- one from Monday to Saturday and another one from Sunday and I receive a call from the host on Friday night that another guest who was occupying the room I booked, wanted an extension. I did not have any alternatives for booking and did not have any friends in Pune for the next week. Despite having a confirmed booking, preference was given to this guest who apparently had lot of luggage. I was told things will be sorted.I called back the host again on Friday for confirmation and he did not pick the call. While checking out on Saturday, the caretaker also did not have any information from the host and so it meant that my booking was unaltered. I kept my baggage there and left. I received a whatsapp message on Sunday from the host at around 5 am saying that my booking will be cancelled. At this point I was not even in Pune. Such unprofessional behaviour by the host despite knowing I was a solo traveler. No courtesy of even calling to tell the booking is cancelled. If the host isn't able to honour the bookings, then the host should be accepting any bookings. If any problem, he should atleast have informed 3-4 day prior so that I can make arrangements accordingly . Hard to trust the host anymore. Very disappointed at this unprofessional behaviour.

Absolutely amazing experience staying at Nagarik Commune, one of the coziest and spacious property in city, it makes you feel like home, the hosts are always on their toes to assist you, it was a delightful experience.

The owners were pretty good but the caretaker was pretty rude. He treated us as if we were living on Charity there

Absolutely nothing

It was a very homely stay- this was better than the hotels around in the area with even a higher price than this. The rooms were clean and liked the cafe downstairs. Great ambience!

The property is well maintained owing to the fact that it is new. The rooms are spacious. The toilets are clean. The proprietor was kind enough to allow early checkin and also allowed us to hang out in the property after check out. They have books and coffee in the common area.

Since it's a new property they are only just getting started. Once they have all the services running I'm sure this will be a great place for stay and work remotely. Hope they continue to keep it as clean as new.
