The power went off in the middle of the night and the loadshedding lights automatically turn on, and you can’t turn them off, so trying to sleep was virtually impossible.

Reviewed Mar 24, 2025This is a greatly located space within Zimbali Lakes Boulevard. The estate is properly secured and very clean. We booked an apartment on Zimbali Lakes Boulevard via air Booking.com and our hosts Msizi Gumede was great and check in instructions were clear and detailed. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The suit was beautiful and felt homely, went to the rooftop pool and the view was out of this world. The location is excellent and just a few minutes away from Ballito mall and the beaches in Ballito which is exciting and vibrant.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2025It is right next to the highway, so easy access. Modern layout with a small kitchen, microwave, fridge. The TV has YouTube and Netflix. Great for a short business stay, self catering.
The bathroom's extractor fan noise is annoying. It took a little trouble to find the complex, but once you know its location, you are good.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2024An exceptionally beautifully furnished apartment, but a few problems that really tainted the stay for me.
1) The biggest problem was that there were lots of little cockroaches in the cupboard with the bin under the sink. This really needs to be attended to. 2) The shower door does not close properly, which causes water to leak out of the shower cubicle. 3) This is no fault of the owner or manager of the apartment but rather an observation with the block as a whole. It is very noisy. Obnoxious, rowdy people, kind of noisy. The people that were there whilst we stayed there had no regard for anyone else but themselves, which made it difficult to have a proper rest.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2024The BnB was so well kitted out it had everything you could think of in it. Super neat and clean and cozy. Guards were super friendly and the estate is very safe. Would recommend to anyone going to Ballito - 10/10.
The shower door seems to have been hung a bit skew so might cause problems later as you have to push to open it but shower itself is great.

The people on the same floor as us were very noisy. They did not take into account that there were other people on the property. They were screaming, shouting and playing music late in the night till the early hours of the morning.

It was as clean as I would like. The toilet wasn't clean, the towels didn't seem fresh/clean, and the bed wasn't straightened out (like someone had just sat on the bed and used the towel before we got there)

We decided to not travel with a car so we relied heavy on Bolts and Uber. The place has really scarce bolts so that was an inconvenience because we wanted to explore different places

The loadshedding, the water in the shower is leaking at the bottom during showering and the music noise from the neighbours around.
