Reviewed Aug 23, 2026The place is beautiful, fully equipped for self-catering. It has a gas heater if it's cold, and if the gas runs out, the hosts quickly replace it. There is a book with the rules, and what was really nice is that the hosts added outings and restaurant ideas to the booklet. The dog was so sweet and well-behaved.
The shower entrance is very narrow, so regardless of your size, you will have to turn sideways to enter. If you're on the bigger side, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Lounge sofas are dusty,Outside of premises not as the pictures show. Pool is dirty, Front gate not motorized , ancient Gate motor broken and laying in the soil for some time. Gate has to be locked in a specific angle with the pad lock and it is a battle especially when you have to manually open and close this very heavy gate. No lights outside especially at the small side pathway alongside the garage to access your room, I had to use my phone light.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2025The host (Bernie) was so friendly and accommodating. The guesthouse is absolutely amazing and it has everything you would ever need. It was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The location is also close to shopping centres and fast food restaurants which was perfect. I would come back again!!

1. No hot water to shower every morning. 2. Rocky, even when I stated that I have allergies to dogs. 3. Locking and unlocking the door. 4. Having to open and close it manually. 5. Uneven walkway to the room. 6. Wifi 7. Windows not closing properly. Maybe I was just not in luck this week.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2025The unit itself was lovely and modern, lovely paintings, well equipped and very clean. It was a large unit which was lovely too. The TV was a big size with full DSTV and smart channels. Loved Rocky the dog, such a sweet angel.
I can only comment on three specific things in this lovely unit that I was a bit uncomfortable with. As a plus size man (3x) one couldn't get into the shower, it was very narrow. I put my size 9 shoe in the entrance of the shower which is the exact size of the entrance. Perfect for smaller people. Due to the rain the door wouldn't lock, but I didn't feel unsafe at any given time. Lastly, I think (in my opinion) that the lounge suite could've been a tad more comfy. Other then that, it was fantastic and well priced.

Reviewed Jan 23, 2025The apartment was larger than I expected and had everything you would need for your stay. Everything was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. We didn't spend much time there during the day but enjoyed our evenings.
We felt a bit unsafe to get out of the car at night to open and close the gate but we understand that gate motors are not a luxury everyone can afford and we did not let this affect our opinion on the stay itself.

All of what was listed was provided for, it's so quaint and very well designed, you can see alot of heart went into planning and designing the spaces inside they flow wonderfully, this makes your experience at the guesthouse memorable. It would meet many of your expectations and even leave you having something to compare to should you book others. Lol if you love dogs I'm sure you'd love Rocky.
To be honest there is nothing to dislike at all.
