There's a cute little creek running through the property to look around. Very cosy. Super friendly and welcoming hosts. Would gladly stay again, especially if there's going to be more goodies in the fridge!

Breakfast was good value. Continental and supplied the evening before, it had everything we needed, was very convenient and allowed us to depart quickly next morning.

An electric blanket on the bed would have been good, but the room was able to be heated so we were quite cosy.

This is the most beautiful, peaceful place. Tony welcomed us kindly and helped us with our luggage. Jill was lovely too. Recommend for couples wanting a peaceful, perfect time away.

Host was super helpful and went "through the extra mile" to make us welcome. An abundant breakfast was set up and a number of heaters in case we needed them. Beautiful setting in the bush, tranquil and relaxing.

The bed was actually super comfortable. The room was so cute and the fridge was well stocked, cold water, a juice & a milk as well as a lot of other goodies. Definitely felt like we were out in the country side even though its literally a 5 min (or less) drive to the city centre. Hosts were so kind, gave us our privacy but also was right there if we needed them. We stayed in the private spa for hours because its so peaceful in there. Can’t wait to stay again!

Everything was perfect the food was awesome beds were so comfortable shower was excellent . We could not of asked for a better accommodation. Will definitely stay there again also awesome hosts.

Set in a secluded garden area very peaceful. Studio provided absolutely everything from continental breakfast to thick fluffy towels and a comfy bed. A lot of thought has gone into the provisions provided. Our host and hostess were extremely hospitable. We didn't use the spa but was available if we wanted one. Thank you.

We thought the bed linen was very fragrant and we were a bit head achy.

It’s situation, the privacy and the comfort which included a hot tub. Large comfortable bed. All the details, all the extras eg the breakfast were fantastic. Tony and Jill are great hosts.

Very secluded in a beautiful yard . The studio was very comfortable and very peaceful .

Excellent location for a peaceful stay. Unfortunately we were only there for the one night.

Breakfast was excellent and more than sufficient, with items replenished daily. The view was superb into a charming and interesting garden. And Tony, the host, was extremely helpful and attentive and at the same time respectful of our privacy.

I loved the garden setting, the quiet location, the spa pool, and the friendliness of the hosts. The studio was very clean and comfortable. All in all, it's the perfect place for a restful getaway.

Cute little studio in a good location. Onsite parking was very convenient and Tony was an extremely friendly and helpful host. The studio was very well appointed (they pretty much thought of everything) and it even had snack/breakfast items available in the unit. The coffee was especially good! This is a perfect property for a short stay, as it is a little small. However, sure wish we could have stayed longer, so we could have enjoyed the amenities. We can definitely recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

This is a fantastic studio in a beautiful garden. It has a superb jacuzzi which was very welcomed after a long hike in Tongariro. Jill and Tony are extremely welcoming and thought of every little detail and more. It’s a big studio with a comfortable bed and great shower. There are seats inside and outside. Breakfast is in the studio which even has a coffee machine and homemade marmalade. Highly recommended

A little difficult getting luggage to the room for older people. The host was very helpful though.

Absolutely everything. It was a beautiful peaceful private fully equipped for an overnight or a few... The host had thought of everything. Well worth the money. The spa was just an absolute bonus. But most importantly George, the resident eel under your very own tiny bridge over the section separation river w native bush edging was the best bit.

This place was so beautiful and peaceful! The hosts were so lovely and you really felt welcomed and comfortable. The attention to detail and service while staying was above and beyond. This was the perfect romantic stay for myself and my husband would absolutely recommend!

Peaceful location surrounded by the host’s beautiful garden, serenaded by bellbirds as we relaxed in the private spa. Very nice continental breakfast. Attention to detail, even providing charger cables for iOS and android phones. Easy drive or pleasant walk down to the river market (would be a fittening walk back up the hill!). The hosts were friendly and generous with their help and advice. Loved this place. Excellent value.

Fue muy agradable escuchar el sonido de las aves y disfrutar del spa. El trato generoso de Tony ha sido muy cordial, nos hizo sentir muy bien en todo momento.

Nous avons aimé l'accueil de Tony et Jill. Ils étaient très arrangeants. Le logement était incroyable. Les extérieurs, le spa pour 2 après une longue journée. Le lit est agréable, et le matin voir des petits lapins dans le jardin par la fenêtre, des oiseaux, des mouton qui broutent de l'autre côté de la clôture. Nous avons passée une excellente nuit. Je recommande fortement ce logement.

Lovely little cabin in the beautiful gardens of the owners (Tony & Jill). We arrived late due to weather and traffic but were met by Tony with a warm smile, showed us to the cabin and helped carry our bags in. The cabin was warm and cosy with a big bed, fridge, sink, bathroom and a hot tub/spa outside. Breakfast ingredients left in room which included - bread for toast, fruit, yoghurt, milk, coffee & tea, various spreads (jam, honey, vegemite etc.). Lovely, quite and tranquil place to stay!

Absolutely nothing - just a shame we arrived late so couldn't enjoy it more

Ganz tolle Unterkunft mit Liebe zum Detail. Tolle Gastgeber. Gutes Frühstück und auch am 2 Tag neu aufgefüllt mit allem was man braucht.

Zu Fuß in die Innenstadt ist etwas mühsam, also immer ein Auto notwendig.

Although it’s pretty small the studio is really comfortable and was perfect for our stay. The gardens are fabulous and the host very friendly and helpful. The kitchenette is small but there are lots of eating out options in town if you want more than a snack. We had a lovely stay.

We loved the situation of Tony’s cottage, hidden away in his garden. There were also some great little places to sit outside and enjoy the garden. It was easy to find, well stocked, and everything thought of for us. We highly recommend this BnB.

Didn't stay long enough

5 minutes from town yet felt like it was in the country. Lovely secluded chalet style studio at rear of property, totally private, clean and tidy. Tony couldn’t be a better host. And a brand new private spa pool as well ! We were blown away.

Only bad thing was that we had only booked for a single night ! Could not fault a thing, completely exceptional property and hosts.

The cottage was fabulous. Had absolutely everything we needed and was so well set up. The spa was a welcome treat, and the morning brekkie was spot on. Tony was a super welcoming host. Even tho you are essentially in their backyard, you could be on a different property completely as we felt very private relaxing on the deck area, listening to the birds and enjoying the peaceful feel. Thnx for the stay.
