Hamilton Summer Treat- 4 Bedroom with pool

The location was very central. Close to so many shops and a mall which was very convenient. A cozy and comfortable home.

The property was great. A heated pool would’ve been awesome so summer is the perfect time. But a place we adore and called home for the weekend.

I loved the pool and outdoor area

The main shower was a bit to short where people had to hunch over to fit under

The location was convenient for heading east from Hamilton, eg to Hobbiton and Rotorua that we visited. It was also very convenient to Chartwell Mall for shopping. The welcome letter was very good.

We had troubles finding light switches when we first arrived and we managed to get ourselves locked out of a bedroom, fortunately the hosts assisted us with location of keys.

Very nice house with an extremely clean pool and garden. Great pool equipment, which made the time at the pool more fun. Great equipment, appliances and games, plus very comfy beds. Located in a nice and calm area, a perfect getaway from a big city. Always again!! Thank you for having us.

Good size property with 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Aircon available including in two rooms (one being the master). House has great amenities so check the list before packing. Property is close to Chartwell Shopping Centre and supermarket. Great having access to a pool (note not heated) along with sun loungers, chairs and pool toys. Hosts provide clear communication.

Shower heads are fixed in place and spray at a weird angle, depending on your height. A couple of friends found their beds weren't very comfortable, but put that down to personal preference (very soft).

Great spot - this is a very charming house with a very cool layout. You enter via a courtyard that has very European vibes. The property has been really well maintained and the retro fixtures are once again really charming. Pool was perfect addition.

No major complaints from our group. If you are looking for a place with charm then this is the spot. I've stayed in plenty of properties that were more modern but lacked any sort of character - not an issue for this place. 101/10, no complaints

Having three toilets for a big group was very helpful, as well as having two car garage for safe parking.

There were a few lights bulbs that weren’t working.

Hosts were great, property was clean tidy quiet, good convenient location. House is a bit old, but we'll equipped. Would be nice if the pool was heated.

This is a cosy lovely family property- if I am being picky the decor could be brighter and more modern, but in saying that it is in keeping with age of property! So much potential x

Great size with awesome pool

Really enjoyed the property and only a couple of things that I would mention - the blinds are broken in the master and with no curtains so was very bright and limited privacy looking out to the neighbours; and some mould in the bathroom.

I liked how spacious it was for our whole family. The pool was amazing and the bbq area, loved the board and card games plus the books available for guests to use. The bedrooms were comfy.

The cleaning could have been better the cleaning on the surface was great but certain areas need more attention light shades ,light switches

Bed was a bit firm for my liking however we all have our own preferences nothing major.

loved the pool even though it looked bigger in pictures but small when u see it. Loved the fruit trees and surroundings, lovely spacious home, had good blankets extra towels handy too Chartwell mall good for family.Heat pumps were great. Everything you need for a holiday away very clean. Some of the areas were outdated but reminded me of old school homely feel.

Main bedrooms bed was hard as rock couldn't sleep at all and the remote ran out of battery for a device didn't know what it was used for side of bed.

The house is very cosy, large spacious, warm.

The size was great for my large family.

The house had a beautiful warm feeling to it and it was great to relax. I would love bring my family here again . Thank you very much to our hosts.

It was a beautiful house. Lovely, clean, warm. Felt like home for the few days. Will have to stay in summer next time to enjoy the pool. It was a quick walk to Chartwell shopping centre so that was nifty. Going to be staying here again in the future.

That we didn't stay longer

Warm, welcoming family home that was large enough to cater for us all. We had family who travelled from all over NZ for our girl’s debut movie KA WHAWHAI TONU and everyone used this as the base to meet up and help her get ready for her Premiere. The 85 yr old matriarch of our whānau stayed here. She LOVED the home. Photos are of Hinerangi preparing at the house and the posters from her movie and with whanau. Ngā mihi mahana ❤️

Place is beautiful, warm and very comfortable. Had everything we needed!! Very spacious. Easy to maintain. Love the lemon, lime, persimmon and grapefruit trees. We came at the right time for those. Bbq area was perfect. Absolutely love this place!!

Was a great location for our needs. We were there to sleep only as we spent the rest of the time out. It was very good to have a base to come back to that was comfortable.

The beds in some of the rooms were a bit hard for us; however, I am sure others would be fine with them. The main bedroom bed was apparently great!

Very nice house with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool, which we really enjoyed. Everything is clean and well equipped. The owner is friendly and very responsive to requests. A very good base for visiting the region.

The property was perfect for us all mixed ages. We had plenty of room for our own quiet time and a dining room to play board games. The 2 children were safe and happy especially with the swimming pool. The toys for the kids were good too.

Perhaps, provide a few more towels / pool towels because we had to share with our children. (Not Hygienic to be sharing towels).

This was a great holiday home for us. Everything we needed was available to us. The pool was great fun. Outdoor chairs and pool toys were available. Everyone had their own bedrooms. Plenty of bathroom facilities. I loved that there were doors to close off much of the house. We had a 2 year old with us so it was easy to keep her contained!

One of the double (queen?) beds was really hard. The rest of the beds were good.

Beautiful home found at last minute. Owners very accomodating. Everything was perfect.

Great location close to the Base and easy access to the Waikato badminton hall. Quiet location. Has a nice swimming pool. Spacious and the tv has Netflix which is a treat for kids! Great selection of sauces available for cooking - Amazing!!

Wish the beds were better and more comfortable. They are quite soft. The main bathroom and toilet are dated and the bathroom shower isn’t suitable for tall people. A little cramped too.

The place is great for anyone who needs quiet time. Everything was provided and it felt like home away from home. Very clean. Front door lock should be in better working condition and drainage in the front shower was slow. Everything else was great! I would recommend.

Amazing home. Well equipped, exceptionally clean and excellent location with the supermarket and mall just a 10min walk away. Beautiful gardens. Will be back in the summer to use the beautiful pool. Thank you hosts for excellent communication.
