Choose To Be Happy at Brompton Estates - 1-BR & 2-BR w Pool

Did not have breakfast

No one to answer the doorbell when I arrived. Had to wait for staff to be available @ 9am. As a transatlantic passenger, wished there was more flexibility with check in times.

All the security staff at the gate were very friendly & accommodating plus the cleaners that we came in contact with. Overall an excellent representation of "Choose To Be Happy". We will certainly be returning again!

The television in one of the bedrooms & the toaster in the kitchen were not working. Although these minor issues by no means affected our stay.

Location was convenient

Had to wait for cleaning to be completed at the prop. Hot water was an issue but was resolved same day. Microwave stopped working but was replaced day 2. 2nd bedroom does not have a TV.

The location was perfect, and the property was exceptionally clean. It had everything you could possibly need while away from home. This is one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in—I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to return soon!

I loved everything about it

The location was a good location private property unless you reside there. Barely any noise, spacious rooms that were clean.

Die Unterkunft fast im Herzen von Kinston ist sauber, ruhig hat warmes Wasser, Wlan und ist wirklich geräumig. Die Garage ist sauber, hell und wie das gesamte Haus von Security Tag und Nacht unter Aufsicht. Leider war der Pool nicht nutzbar, aber wir bekamen eine Ausweichlokation für 2 Std. in einem Hotel.

Für 4 Personen, wenig Besteck und Teller. Aber ok passt schon.

Great apartment with good facilities. The Host, Sheldon was brilliant. Very helpful and informative and helped us find a private driver for a day tour - Stephanie Jarrat. Stephanie was fantastic and provided information about Kingston and her own diverse background. Look her up at Roots and Reality.

Convenience to Town Clean

The property was very clean the host was amazing and it was in a great location will definitely be visiting again when I come back to Jamaica !!

It's a great Place. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and couch, good gym and pool and a very nice Host.

Toaster and water cooker don't stop by themselves

It's an amazing stay! The host was very welcoming and hands on. Pool could be cleaner though. Would absolutely stay here again.

They expected us to use a particular type of detergent in the machine. That’s was horrible. If u expect to use a particular detergent then that should be provided. Toiletries came in quite late.

Staff was amazing! Pool was a great feature and the kids loved it!

The Security guard was rude at check in. Received so many reminders about the rules. At least 3 a day starting at 5am in morning. There were discrepancies with information between booking.com and the host about amount to be paid and how it would be paid. 200 usd hold CC for incidentals plus the 60 USD cleaning fee that was charged despite the rules saying it would be applied for week long stays.

Our host. Sheldon was very welcoming, gave us great information and responded quickly to our queries. The people. Everyone was helpful. The Housekeeper, Security Guards, etc. The location. It was quiet and I felt secure. Food shopping was in walking distance, and it was accessible to both downtown and New Kingston. I was able to walk to Devon House in less than 30 minutes, and a cab downtown took 10 to 15 minutes at most. I'd book an apartment again with Choose To Be Happy as the hosts.

Nothing worth mentioning. Only very minor niggles and that was more to do with what I'm used to at home, and I wasn't at home 🙂.

Liked the cleanliness of both the apartment and the building in and out. Liked also the ability to reach the property manager, Mr. Sheldon James, at all times to answer questions before I arrived, whilst there and also even after I departed. I also was very comfortable with the security provided for the property and the entrance to the building. It made me feel very safe.

I like that the host was very professional. The facility security was on point and easy to deal with. There wasn’t any breakfast. There was nice clean white linen’s amazing WIF. It was stay-able not really what I am used to but I made it work for me and my family.
