Views, close to town

Great location, and once we got appliances working it was nice and warm with lovely elevation. Oh and heated floor in bathroom was a lovely surprise!

Just a few little things would have been helpful. Working lights at the door entry. Info on starting fire. Coaster to put drinks on furniture ( we felt bad putting them directly on timber). Hard to open downstairs bathroom door. We think the fridge must have missed a clean after the last people.

Great location and amazing views of Hawke’s Bay, clear communication and the house had everything we needed for a family holiday!

House had everything needed for a family stay, great location lose to havelock town centre. Nice and spacious, plenty of parking.

The pillows on most of the beds were very thin, luckily we bought our own from home or I would have had to buy some pillows just to sleep comfortably

Great location and clean

The stairs are quite steep to the downstairs room and don’t have a handrail (I’m pretty sure the building code requires one) but I actually fell down the stairs and rolled my ankle, if there was a handrail I probably wouldn’t have fallen!

Very comfortable, great views and had everything we need

House was perfect for us. We loved the location. House spacious, beds very comfortable and the fireplace made it nice and cosy.

We found the front door lock a little tricky and would have liked a guest folder with local activities and instructions for fire place etc.

It was incredibly comfortable and well thought out. Loved the balcony and the incredible hedges that made it all feel very regal.

Good directions, easy to find. The house was just lovely with very comfortable beds.

Electric blankets on the beds would have kept us toasty in the unexpected cold snap.

Warm and inviting. Super close to town with a 15min walk. Great rooms and bathrooms. All in all we were so impressed that we will be back to stay.

Specious and really comfortable beds

Lovely house which suited our extended family with a baby. Nice neighborhood and 10-15 minute walk into Havelock North village which had a good choice of restaurants and cafes. Would stay here again.

There was no/very little hot water in the downstairs basin, the downstairs shower was fine.

Not really negatives but feedback-the downstairs bathroom missing handles on doors and toilet roll holder... bins in the bathrooms would be handy. Couldn't work out how to use the extractor hood- a little 'how to' welcome pack with info would be great 🙂

The place blew us away!!! The photos don’t do it justice. It is so clean and spacious. We arrived on a sunny afternoon and got so much natural light into the living space. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living space was so cozy at night with the fireplace. We walked into town from our place and it took 15 minutes which was perfect.

The view from the deck was beautiful, particularly given it was autumn. The lounge/ living space was spacious and included wonderful views. The beds comfortable. Ample parking onsite. The property was in a pretty suburb and a relatively short walk to town.

Property is great. Location is a short drive from Havelock. Very private inside the house. Big bath, lounge, outside area are added bonuses. Decor was great for family.

Insufficient bedside tables and lack of bedside lights in all 4 bedrooms, - no toilet cleaners - not all lights working in the main bathroom - no handles on the door into the downstairs wardrobe and ensuite. One tea towel for 3 night's stay. No rubbish bins to use in the bathrooms, and no toilet holder in downstairs ensuite

All of the windows making it a bright space. The deck was nice.

The basement bathroom had a strong mold odor making it unpleasant to try and sleep in the lower level. Chair in living room was ratty. And outdoor cushions were also ripped. Freezer was very dirty. Also a couple of the dishes in the cabinet were not clean. No waste baskets in the bathrooms.

Beautiful home, everything has been thought about. It is warm, comfortable and beautifully presented. We all commented on how much of a shame it was that we couldn’t stay for longer and that we could easily live in the house permanently! Great home to rent for a group. Communication from the host was great too. Will hopefully be back one day

cob webs on walls and ceilings, lacked kitchen utensils and cleaning items sich as tea towels and bench cloths. Fireplace didnt work, bathroom door handle broken. Fridge stunk and dirty. Bbq dirty.

Super comfortable place with great amenities and a comfortable homey vibe. 10/10!
