Super good location close to the main shopping street. Staff was nice and helpful. Vending machine inside the hostel. Super clean and comfortable.

This seems to be a very family friendly place, there are small kids playing and running around the common areas

L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter Shanghai, 5min a pied de la ligne 2 (qui relie les 2 aéroports), tout proche du Bund et de Nanjing road. Les lits sont confortables et les serviettes sont changées tous les jours. Il y a également un convenience store au pied de l'hôtel ce qui est pratique.

La chambre est vieillissante et mériterait des rénovations. Il y avait une odeur d'urine persistante dans les toilettes mais si vous fermez la porte tout va bien.

Das gleiche Bett wurde zwei mal vergeben, sodass um 4:30 ein verwirrter Typ eine Taschenlampe in mein Gesicht gehalten hat. Auch hatte ich „fewer beds“ was noch immer 10 Leute sind. Nicht zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer stinken.

This place is just amazing. 10/10 good, safe location: close to the metro, right next to a busy shopping/pedestrian street, short walk to the Bund to watch the city lights. As a solo female traveler, I appreciated being able to watch the city lights every night and walk back to the hostel so safely. Super comfortable beds and bedding. Free towels (fresh ones every day!), free high-quality body wash + shampoo + conditioner(!!), great showers and hairdryers! Friendly staff. Big lockers, good wifi (every room has its own!), nice terrace, very clean overall. I'm SO glad I chose to stay here. You will not regret your choice if you book this place :) I'll 100% stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai

Overcrowded

The location is super central, a 15-minute walk to the Bund. And the bed is comfortable.

The location they have on Booking is wrong. Google Maps works perfectly in Shanghai, so I ended up going in the wrong direction. They gave me Room 21; that space should not be a room, not even for one person—it’s claustrophobic. It’s also super close to the common area, so I couldn’t sleep two nights in a row. They gave me a new room for the third night, and I sincerely don’t understand why I was given the first room in the first place. I had paid the full price of a room for two people for single use; they should give you the same quality of space. I wouldn’t go back.

I like it all. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I had the most contact with Sophie, who readily helped and answered all my questions. Otherwise, all the employees are truly very kind and helpful. It is also very commendable that everyone understands and speaks English. Oh - you def must to try their dumplings - absolutely delicious 😍

It's a nice and cozy place to stay. The location is very good — it's less than a 10-minute walk to the metro. The staff is nice and always tries to help with any questions. The room was quite good as well. It's one of the best options for staying in the city center at this price. Thank you, guys! Next time I'm in Shanghai, I'll definitely stay here again.

南京東路駅1番出口から徒歩数分、ビルの6階にあります。ホテル付近も夜遅くまで人通りがあるので安心です。トイレ（TOTO製便座は温かいです）、共用シャワーは4つずつドライヤーの風量も良いです。シャワーの水捌けも良く数分経てば床はほぼ乾いています。定期的に清掃も入っていて清潔さはホステルということを鑑みても許容範囲です。共用ラウンジも開放的でみなさん静かに過ごしていました。ラウンジにはAタイプのプラグ・USB・Cタイプポートが座席ごとにあり満席になることはなかったです。ベッドサイドにUSBタイプ、Cタイプポートが設置されています。チェックアウト後も荷物はフロント前のスペースで預かってくれます。

The best thing about Hi Cozy Hostel is the excellent service and hospitality of the staff. They are very accommodating, friendly, and always willing to assist whenever you need help. I would especially like to thank Iris, Suki, and Nico. They are always welcoming and greet guests with warm smiles. They even helped me navigate around Shanghai when I was having a hard time using the maps on my phone due to limited access and compatibility issues. They patiently assisted me and showed me how to get around, which I truly appreciated as a traveler. Their kindness and willingness to help really made my stay more comfortable and memorable. ❤️ Thank you so much, guys! You are all amazing! I truly appreciate your kindness and excellent service. A very friendly place full of very friendly people. Iris and Mia at the check-in were super friendly although it was past 2 in the morning. The location is very good, Nanjing Road is 2 min walk away and The Bund 15 min walk. And the value for money is just amazing !

Las camas están bien pero la almohada no era muy cómoda. No logré tener buena conexión wifi en toda la semana que estuve. Me decían en recepción que me tenía que conectar a otras redes pero en cuanto me movía un poco de lugar se desconectaba.

Es posiblemente el mejor hostal en el que he estado. No solo esta limpio sino que ofrece muchas facilidades. Los baños son muy amplios y con muchas comodidades. Las zonas comunes te permiten despejarte. Ademas esta ubicado en pleno centro de Shangai por lo que apenas es necesario usar transporte publico. El personal es muy amable y atento.

Dalle indicazioni precise e dettagliate per arrivare la prima volta, con tanto di foto e descrizioni, agli ordini d’asporto, configurazione delle app! Insomma un personale davvero eccellente. Se dovessi tornare starei di nuovo qui, perché ho Amato tutto di questa struttura. Servizi puliti e dotati di tutti i comfort, tutto nuovo ed organizzato. Il letto non è molto grande, ma in linea con gli standard asiatici. Prese di tutti i tipi, tavoli per appoggiare le cose e 3 appendiabiti. Forniscono asciugamani sempre puliti, ciabatte, pantofole e tappi per le orecchie. Possibilità di prendere anche lo spazzolino se necessario. Colazione eccellente con yogurt, granola al cacao, frutta, bagel, caffè e succo! (38¥ se non la si ha inclusa nella prenotazione) Locker moooolto spazioso, con tanto di disinfettante. Davvero una struttura eccellente, una delle migliori in cui io abbia alloggiato negli ultimi due mesi e mezzo in Asia

There is nothing to dislike. I would like to offer a suggestion to potentially enhance the mattress, perhaps by transitioning from memory foam to a hybrid mattress. After a long day of exploring the city, a truly restful sleep would be greatly appreciated.

It's one of the best hostels i've ever stayed in, the staff is amazing (especially Melody, she was so kind and welcoming), the room was super clean and the bathroom was just amazing)

Position was perfect (near metro station but also in the central part of the city); towel and shower amenities provided; great view from the window with beautiful outside terrace; central common room with games, books, fridges and freebies.

Since it is the last floor and it was raining heavily it was not so comfortable to spend time in the common room

I stayed in 2 girls room. It was extremely small and I could not more properly. However stuff was amazing and so helpful. The only think I love about the hostel is the stuff. Location was good but I would prefer to stay a bit further but in a big room.

The room was extremely small. And also storage in 2 girls room was in a hidden place so you need to step on the bed to reach the storage.

Tuvalet ve banyonun havalandırması kötüydü bence, özellikle sıcak havada kötü koku oluyodu. Bir de konaklayan kişilerle ilgili de olsa tuvalet banyo alanı pek temiz değildi maalesef.

Description in booking.com is misleading. In the hotel room you do not have even a chair. There is no place to put your bag. The staff was indifferent. The upper bad was pretty high. Beds are narrow with shelves making them narrower. Breakfast was very poor at relatively high price.

I booked this because of the good reviews and it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Suki and Clare were both extremely helpful in helping me with several issues. I stated 3 nights instead of 1. Highly recommend it.

They need to install urinals in the men’s bathroom. Most guys don’t like sitting as they ask men to do.

Super nice shower/bath facilities, and the rooftop was amazing as a hangout spot. Nilo was really helpful in check in and check out.

It's not really a bad thing, but I was surprised that it had a more high-end / expat feel to it, more than a place where you casually hang out.

Location was great, staff were friendly and the beds were decent. Was a great place to stay for a few days! So good for getting places with the train line nearby. Xifu street just to the north was a complete hidden gem too! Very good for the price, would recommend to others looking to stay in Shanghai.

Had two little inconveniences, the first was the blind to close off your bed from the rest of the door (which also prevented light getting through) would also stop the airflow, ideally if they had an additional hook slightly higher to keep the air flow going that would be good. Secondly there wasn’t a way to close the doors to the dorm quietly because of the style of lock. Woke up a couple of times from other people doing it, and I’m sure I woke someone else up.

It was the 2nd time I stayed in that hostel and the beds are soo comfortable. The staff/ reception is really kind and the location is nearby a Shopping street with lots of food options.

The breakfast offer is a little bit pricey for a bagle with butter/joghurt with granola. The gym is still under construction

En las fotos parece las habitaciones grandes. Pero son pequeñas.

L’emplacement est plus qu’idéal tout est réalisable à pied si vous êtes un peu marcheur. Au vue de l’emplacement et des équipements le prix est plus que correct aussi. La chambre était propre.

La taille de la chambre était vraiment minuscule on ne pouvait pas être deux personnes hors du lit en même temps au risque de ne pas pouvoir bouger librement. Pareil au niveau valise impossible d’être à la fois hors du lit et faire la valise tant l’espace était petit. Après au vu du prix et de l’emplacement ça fait sens.

La localización es inmejorable y el personal muy agradable. Las instalaciones estaban muy limpias y el ambiente del hostal era joven e internacional.

La cama de arriba tenía un acceso algo complicado si no estás en buena forma y la ducha y el inodoro están juntos.

Muy amable el personal, era posible dejar el equipaje antes del check in y luego del check out sin costo adicional y usar duchas públicas para bañarte (te dan toalla) antes de ir al aeropuerto ya habiendo hecho el check out más temprano en la mañana.

La habitación era muy pequeña pero reservé las dos camas para mi para tener la habitación entera y el baño privado. La entrada al hostel es medio rara porque no da a la calle, pero una vez habiendo entrado al alojamiento todo era muy lindo y limpio.

Great hostel beds comfortable and I met some really amazing people :)

The day staff were nice but the night time staff accused me of being loud cause apparently somebody complaint about me she didn’t investigate just berated me, 6 people who were with me told her it wasn’t me in the room cause I was outside with them but she didn’t listen. I just went to grab my bag for 10 seconds and some other people in the room were packing and going in and out. There was an older lady who maybe saw me when I enter to get my bag and complaint but I wasn’t loud enough to wake anybody up. She screamed loudly herself and probably woke more people then… Maybe the ear plugs should be given to older people or advice for them to book more private rooms as it’s a hostel and people will be coming in and out of the room in different times. Regardless I wasn’t happy how the staff handled the situation.

Very modern and good vibe. The toilet and shower facilities are great. The bed chambers were comfortable and the staff were lovely and helpful. Thank you to Sophia and the gang!

Очень удобное расположение, 7 минут до метро, персонал очень приятный. Номера действительно очень маленькие, но это не приносит больших неудобств при проживании на пару дней.
