The location was great, by the lake and just out of town, which gave us more of a vibe of home than a hotel. The facilities, it's a studio with a nice living area, a.well equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, which are very convenient if you are staying a little longer.

The bed is way too soft for us. My husband ended up sleeping on the floor.

It was beautifully presented and had everything you could possibly wish for 🥰

Waimahana was a wonderful and comfortable stay, particularly the bed. We were there to attend my daughter's football tournament week. It was located close to Crown Park, which was very convenient. We loved our time there and even extended for one more night. Our host was excellent and accommodating, even when we requested a late check-out. She was most accommodating, which was appreciated, given that I had recently undergone surgery and rushing to check out was a bit challenging for me at the time. Thank you, so, so much for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back again!

No where to put suitcases. Although the linen was lovely the bed was uncomfortable. No milk capsules were supplied so we had to go and buy milk. Overall we didn’t like the position of room 7 and the view of the lake was through a very small window. We would not stay in this particular apartment again.

Well located near the lake and the lakeside walk. A little out of town which added to the peace and quiet. Whilst we didn’t use it, there is also a heated pool and spa which seemed popular despite the cold temps.

Our only fault was the bed. It was luxurious but very springy- each time one of us turned over during the night it was like the old waterbed experience despite it being comfortable. If looking for lake views, this apartment will disappoint as at best there is a glimpse from a side window. However, with the lake so close it just encouraged us to get out and walk.

Great location, just a short walk to the lake. Very comfortable and luxurious. Loved the keypad entry!

The hob was a little small to cook a meal on using two pans e.g. cooking pasta and sautéing some veg for the sauce. The little window needs a blackout blind as this was quite bright through the night despite the current blind. Small things though!

Was disappointed to find we were facing the road and pedestrians looked in easily to the outdoor area. Lake view was very limited .

Size of the apartment and all the facilities available made the stay enjoyable and comfortable

The pool needs and upgrade. No external access from apartments to garage

Great heated pool with fantastic view. A nice tidy studio apartment that had all we needed for a quick stopover in Taupō.

The little window with the blinds overlooking the garage didn’t block the intense light shining in. A bit confusing trying to find the internal access to the garage - could be clearer with signage.

Great facility and necessities. Very clean and comfortable located close to centre. nice kitchen with oil, salt and pepper, etc. Big fridge, washing machine and microwave. Private car park in the basement.

Fabulous accommodation, easy communication, great location, comfy bed, everything was spot on. Loved the hot pool.

Unit had everything we could want in kitchen, bathroom and lounge facilities

No air in bedroom as it is an internal room, memory foam topper on bed generates too much heat, so not able to sleep for being far too hot, very uncomfortable nights

Closeness to amenities, clean and modern, comfortable and safe

I was expecting a view as the pictures showed the lake however the apartment was on the road side with no outlook, bit dissapointing
