El internet fue complicado por no decirlo de otra manera, el wifi con muchas interrupciones o lento por asi decirlo (creo que es por que las paredes son muy gruesas) pero de ahi en fuera todo excelente

Reviewed May 18, 2026It was eloquent in its mix of old colonial design with modern touches. The staff howled were what puts it over the top. Excellent location, they really put the customer first. Gabriella at the front desk is superb in customer service. The restaurant is loud but fun and great food.
Nothing I’m going back on my way home from Valle de Bravo.

The only not so bad part is that sometimes there’s loud music outside late at night, and the clock sounds at every hour (I’m used to it so I like it) we were so tired we didn’t care, but the hotel provides earplugs for you if needed!

Reviewed Dec 7, 2024The property is impeccably inspiring with its proximity to the Cathedral of Morelia. Its neo art meets colonial detail. The home of Mexicos first emperor had me sold on this grandiose castle turned hotel. The history of this radical that influenced and was part of the Mexican Independence movement. With his home proximity near Jose Maria Morelos de Pavon another affluent that was a key man in the Mexican Independence was only a couple of blocks away. I loved it! The staff was enriched with knowledge and gave me a tour map with go to place suggestions. I loved the room, music, Champaign welcome and staff.
Perhaps continental breakfast per floor would have been nice.

Reviewed Feb 8, 2024Located directly across from the cathedral and the jardin. Staff were excellent - friendly and welcoming! Our room had a fabulous view of the cathedral from the large terrace. The bed was very comfortable.
Expensive, but overall was worth the cost. Loud construction noises lasted until 10 PM on our second night - one of the hotel roofs (next to our room) was being resurfaced. The noise occurred only on the second night.

I didn't realize the Cathedral's bells ring late into the night. Although our rooms had a beautiful view, the loudness from the street and bells was frustrating.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2022Cantera 10 is a stunning historic hotel smack in the middle of Morelia. our room was a work of art with soaring ceilings, huge amounts of space and directly across from the cathedral.
The only thing wrong with our stay was that it was of longer.
