Hotel De La Soledad

El Hotel muy bonito y el personal del hotel también. El restaurante muy caro y no tan bueno. La atención en el restaurante mala y lenta. Muchos meseros con micrófonos haciéndose tontos y platicando entre ellos.

Ciertos detalles como pichicatendo el champú que pedí, cuando en la mayoría de los hoteles 5 estrellas necesitas algún articulo de aseo personal y te lo entregan sin explicación alguna y en abundancia. Pidiendo las bolsas de lavandería, no me pareció digno del hotel en su categoria.

The hotel is my favorite in Morelia. Location and security is excellent

I have stayed many times and always leave very happy. On this visit we had problems with mosquitos or something similar in our room. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and they acted like they knew nothing about it. They tried to keep insects out by putting drain covers on the shower drain but it didn't help. The public restroom by the restaurant also had covers over the drains. I was bitten while sleeping and did not get good rest for two nights.

I was so excited to stay at this amazing hotel and I was not disappointed! The attention to detail in the entire place was incredible. The service staff were so attentive and friendly. The decor was breathtaking. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. So happy I stayed here.

No mini fridge or coffee available. Would be nice to have USB ports.

El Hotel de la Soledad es el hotel más bonito de todo Morelia, no tengo ninguna duda. El staff se ecnarga de mantenerlo a la perfección y darle ese toque elegante-histórico. Las instalaciones son de primer nivel y su personal se encarga de hacerlo memorable.

Esta vez nos quedamos en un habitación hacia la calle. Si vienen tienen ventanas antiruido, estás no están bien selladas y se cuela el ruido del tráfico. Sé que es complicado colocar ventanas antiruido sin romper el estilo histórico pero creo que hay una oportunidad ahí para mejorar el comfort de los huespedes.

Repetíem experiència i ens va semblar tan meravellós com fa un any. Les habitacions són precioses, el bany enorme i decorat amb molt bon gust, i la roba de llit de gran qualitat. El pati per dinar i esmorzar és espectacular. El menjar és molt bo, encara que no arriba al nivell extraordinari de l’espai en si. El personal és molt amable i ens van obsequiar amb un cocktail i uns bombons de benvinguda.

Em va atabalar que quan vam arribar amb una maleta petita cadascú vinguessin 4 persones a ajudar-nos. Ens van dir que "era protocol" però acabàvem d'arribar de USA, no teníem pesos, no podíem donar propina i tampoc necessitàvem ajuda. Naturalment, vam deixar propina a la cambrera i també al senyor que ens va guardar les maletes l’últim dia. Però potser a l’entrada es podria ser una mica més flexible i adaptar l’ajuda a les necessitats reals dels hostes (si porten moltes maletes, si són grans o no, si semblen en forma, etc.). D’aquesta manera, s’evitaria que l’hoste es pugui sentir incòmode o groller havent de dir que no.

This hotel made the entire trip to Morelia special. Touring the city and then relaxing in the courtyard was very special. Food was excellent along with the amazing service. One of the best hotel experiences of my life.

La habitación no era la misma que aparecía en mi reserva por booking, el servicio de valet parking fue demasiado lento, la cama rechinaba bastante, la verdad no me parece que vale la pena la relación calidad-precio.

I really enjoy staying in Hotel La Soledad! Food was delicious, the room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, the staff were great. This is one of my favorite hotels.

Nos dieron un cuarto en una zona nueva, era muy pequeño y había una remodelación muy ruidosa al lado.No aceptan un depósito para cargos extras en efectivo, entonces hicieron un cargo a mi tarjeta el cual tardó una semana en devolverse y afectó el resto de mi viaje..

Hotel de la Soledad is absolutely stunning—an unforgettable place that made my stay truly special. I’m so glad I chose it! The beauty of the hotel had me constantly reaching for my camera; every corner was picture-worthy. I indulged in both room service and meals at the restaurant, and everything was top-notch. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always greeted me with a smile. I felt genuinely cared for throughout my visit. I can’t wait to return!

Amazing service and location!

Don’t miss an opportunity to stay in this well designed, well functioning hotel in Morelia. It is a converted convent and the rooms are individually designed with original artwork, lovely furniture, excellent lighting, cable TV (including CNN and BBC). Service is excellent. I had room 210 which was a nice room for a single. The bathroom was a bit small, which is a shame. I did enjoy the rain-shower, though. Friends had room 218, a beautiful double room with large bathroom and ample closets. Both rooms had sitting areas just outside the room, facing the courtyard. The hotel is built around two patios . The rooms around the second patio are more modern, while those in the first patio are more atmospheric. So it might be worth looking at different rooms before selecting one. A few minor issues: Wi fi is unstable at peak times. The tap handles in the bathroom are not well designed and difficult to turn if you have arthritic hands . They look great, but could be better designed.

Spectacular courtyard setting as two couples arrived at 1pm after a 5 hour journey. We were abruptly told that our rooms were not ready with check in time at 3pm. That has happened to us as we travel lots. We were offered a small cocktail as we waited patiently for news of an opening before that time. We were offered an early check in for p$400 per room. I chose this hotel as it was the most expensive hotel as it was a special celebration. Not one other guest checked in as we waited for an hour then we requested feedback. Nothing. We waited until exactly 3pm until we asked again. They did not even call us one minute early. They should re-visit their policy as their kind cocktail offer encouraged us to stay within the hotel lobby when we could have made the most of our day by exploring Morelia for 2 hours. This made us feel unwelcome and as a result we avoided further spending in the hotel during our 2 day stay there.

I’m very pleased with my stay here. I felt safe the entire time with the 24 hr security. It was quiet and ambience was very beautiful. The only thing I would complain about is my shower water never got hot. Only the faucet water did. Other than that, great stay and would come again.

Location is unbeatable, walking distance to every historic spot and close to good restaurants and nice shop stores. Hotel is beautiful, my room was superb with an attached nice window/balcony’. Breakfast was delicious every day but slow service from the restaurant staff. The only issue was with one of the ladies at the reception, she was rude at time of check-in and check-out with the rest of the group (even though all of them were staying at the hotel too) I think you should do better training your PR and lobby/ staff otherwise everting else we’re really nice. I would love to stay another time in La Soledad

The Hotel is beautiful full of details in each corner, amazing location and walking distance from so many historical sites and good restaurants. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only issue was the POOR and RUDE attitude from the ladies

We loved the restaurant, the staff and of course the music.

We learned AFTER we danced to the romantic live music, that dancing was discouraged. I would prefer to be informed beforehand.

Everything was amazing. The hotel was very clean and within walking distance of downtown Morelia where there is a lot going on.

The hotel was nice and the staff is friendly. I would give 5 stars, except the hotel overcharged me. It's been a week since the error was discovered. I called. I emailed. I sent the hotel my credit card info it asked for. Still, no refund. I feel like the hotel is not fair to its guests.

Perfect place to visit

Well have code bars to call restaurant in the room, didn’t work, I request airport transportation part of the service, didn’t have it, I asked for water at 10pm kitchen was closed so I was told o can’t get any water, have to leave early and they called me from the taxi to check out, even do they had my credit card. Is a good hotel nice clean and cute, but they have lack of service!!!

Excellent service from the moment we arrived. The common areas were stunning. Beautiful patios, plants, and decorations. The room had high ceilings and big windows with a small balcony. Great location, which was peaceful.

Beautiful Hotel with very friendly staff! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The service in the restaurant was a little slow and the food wasn't amazing, but the ambiance was great. The steak was too salty and the Caesar salad was very fishy tasting and it had mustard mixed into the dressing. The drinks were very good. We had the mezcal cocktail and it was so good!

The hotel has the wow factor, it has a traditional design, central location, you feel very safe and the staff are excellent. The on site restaurant provides quality traditional dishes with a friendly and efficient service

Check in time was scheduled for 3 and our room did not become available until 4. Stayed numerous times in this hotel and was extremely disappointed with the check in process this time around.

Beautiful and Great place to stay!!! Hotel is around the corner from the Main cathedral of Morelia. Their food is good but if you going on a weekend plan to reserve. Rooms are very spacious and very clean. Staff were very nice, attentive and very informative.

The first impression we had once we did arrive at the hotel was very good. It was walking into a secret gem in the middle of Morelia. The staff was very kind and helpful to get us to the room. If you want to relax, this is a place to be! What can be improved though is the available amenities. We did pay for a luxury room but there are on a few basics in it. No coffee maker or a microwave available, even to get hot water for a hot bottle was a difficult challenge. There is no business center or a gym available, Overall, looking at the hotel, it is a very nice place.

PRIVILEGED LOCATION, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF, WALKING DISTANCE FROM HISTORIC CENTER OF MORELIA, OUR STAY WAS UNFORGETABLE, WE WILL DEFINITELLY RETURN!
