Immaculately clean, well designed, incredible view

Great location, right next to The Cider Factorie. Beautiful morning sunrises across the water looking at Mount Maunganui. The central heating in the house was wonderful.

Simple, beautiful and peaceful, a home away from home. Top it off with the beautiful sunrise in the mornings, love it.

I rarely give 10, but this accommodation deserves it. It's peaceful, incredibly comfortable, relaxing and has great views. If you want the bright lights of Tauranga, it's under 20 minutes to drive. There are wetlands around the property when you fancy a walk amongst bird life. The owner left treats like chocolate and local cider and all the little details were covered to make it a wonderful stay.

The best stay in Tauranga! Breath taking views of Mount Maunganui and all the new years fire work shows. What a luxury stay in Te Puna, gave us a lot of ideas for what we would like in our own place! Mike and Sarah have put a lot of effort into making a beautiful home. The extra space downstairs was perfect for our group of 4.

Location was fantastic and we really enjoyed the wetland walk, we were told to help ourselves to fruit from their orchard, nice big outside area decking and BBQ. Lovely modern building, tastefully furnished/decorated. My son loved the separate ground floor accommodation. Great Wifi especially with x3 of us using at same time. Owners very friendly. Nice treats left for us in the fridge, chocolate and feijoa cider.

Stunning location n property

Absolutely stunning location, very quiet and private - remote but easy to find. Quite a steep driveway so be careful in an old small engine car! Decor is outstanding - high quality, stylish, understated. Host was really lovely - came to say hello but then left us alone - we knew he was on hand if we needed anything. Views are outstanding and wonderful bird life on hand and marsh walks close by.

The view is spectacular, mornings you start your day with the view of mount maunganui. Mike was really helpful and friendly. The feijoa and the chocolate was a very nice complimentary. 100% recommend this place.

The view is exceptional and great for the sunrise over the estuary. Very modern in terms of facilities. Working remotely the super fast internet connection was fantastic. Nice wetlands walk just below the guesthouse.

Outdoor furniture on its last legs!

The Guesthouse was a beautiful whare - suited out needs perfectly. Well appointed, relaxing, warm, comfortable, clean, and easy. Stunning outlook. Would definitely return.

This is an exceptional property to stay at - the host came to say hello as an added bonus.

The location was stunning, we made use of the cider factory a couple of doors down as well as the walks in the area. There are plenty of fresh food stands to purchase free range eggs, avocado's etc. The hosts were amazing and the house is finished to a beautiful architectural standard.

The location and house does have the wow factor when you drive in, the view is breathtaking. Someone really knows how to present a house with the Wow factor.

I thought we were booking a 2 bedroom place as shown on Booking .com but it is in fact a one bedroom with a separate bedroom below - sleep out below with bathroom. The hosts did let us know ahead of time, but its not what is described online, and it was too late for me to spend time finding somewhere else. Upstairs bed was firm but ok and new, Downstairs bed left my partner awake for hours - for this kind of money you expect a fantastic sleep in a comfortable bed in both rooms. The other thing that brought the rating down, is that there are no curtains on either side of the living areas, so you just feel exposed- its not a private feeling at all. The location and the exterior of the house is stunning! The bathrooms and interiors are considered and have a real wow factor. So all in all a good place to be if they upgrade the downstairs bed, so that you can get some sleep and put curtains up, so that you are not feeling like a fish in a fish bowl. The gardens, and surrounds are beautifully kept, and it really does have a wow factor when you drive in. The chocolate in the fridge was a nice welcoming touch, fresh coffee grounds and milk and they do provide body wash in the showers and great quality towels.

The property is new and has been tastefully finished furnished and decorated. Fabulous views.
