Everything was exceptionally beautiful, warm, welcoming, clean and comfortable. Quet and serene surroundings. Would definitely recommend the Sunny Brae Cottages

Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, large towels, lots of condiments to use, very nice extra touches included

Wifi was very slow or did not work. TV did not work very well.

Large, spacious basement suite. Sliding doors opened to the yard and a lovely view across the valley. Kitchen adequately supplied, so we could cook. Christine (and Maru) was very quick to respond to any questions or issues. Very fast with all communications. A quiet setting on a quiet street, only 5 minutes drive to City Basin or to Whangarei Falls and all the tracks. We would like to return, but not without an upgrade to air conditioning.

No Air Conditioning, although the listing stated there is. 😞 a portable "swamp cooler" was provided, but it did not do anything to cool the room. Thankfully, it was not hot when we were there.... although, still we were too warm. IF air conditioning was supplied, we would return!

I loved everything about the property. Exceptionally clean comfortable private queit. Has been the best accommodation I have stayed at 😊

We were very happy when we arrived at our Villa! Big rooms, well appointed and well away from the other Villa so it felt private. Beautiful grounds and a Quiet, tranquil setting. Awesome bathroom with all the extras like laundry washer/dryer, bed was fantastic, kitchen dining/Lounge with oven etc was great. Owners left a few nice things to welcome us and the shortbread was amazing! This was a stop over trip for us on the way to Gisborne with a couple of nights to catch up with friends in between Christmas and New Year. It was perfect and would happily have stayed longer. We will next time!

Minor issue - but maybe a flag or sign to show the driveway location from the road

The stay was immaculate. The keys in the lockbox made it a seamless check-in, the bed was amazingly comfortable after a long day of activities around the city. The garden, lights and grounds around the cottage were very well maintained and created a calming environment for myself and my partner. I would highly recommend staying at this magnificent accommodation.

This accommodation is always at the top of my list to stay in Tauranga. The details are incredibly thought out, from the butter and jam with vogels, to the muesli and milk. It's cozy, welcoming, beautiful and a perfect place to stay if you like to self cater.

One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in, very spacious kitchen and bathroom with everything you’d need

Wifi disconnected a couple of times but a quick restart of the router fixed it no worries, everything was perfect

The cottage is in a very very quiet area, one of two built in the well kept gardens of an extremely large house . The cottage was well furnished to cater for all your needs , the bed was extremely comfy.

The location was lovely, beautiful grounds and very peaceful.Fixtures and fittings were all high quality,and the bed was probably one of the comfiest I have ever slept in.Would love to stay again when back in New Zealand..

Tracy and Craig the owners were absolutely amazing 👏 their accommodation was out of this world so luxurious and every detail was beyond brilliant. It was a dream place to stay and we would highly recommend it to everybody to stay here and we will certainly be back and stay longer as 2 days wasn't enough. Very clean , the amenities were of top quality . Such a georgeous setting ,peaceful tranquility,private and secluded. Loved the little extras like scub puff in the bathroom , Continental breakfast delights . Having a washing machine and drier meant I could go home with fresh, clean clothes . Will definitely be back. Also loved meeting the little friendly dog who came to greet me. Luxurious comfort.

Quiet spacious and the gardens were blissful

Cottage had an upmarket feel, very nicely furnished with high end appliances in the Kitchen. Very comfortable bed and pillows, bed linen and towels were of a high quality. Bathroom was modern and very functional, shower was huge with 2 shower heads. Nespresso coffee machine & milk frother was very much appreciated as was being supplied enough Coffee pods for the duration of our stay. Everything worked perfectly and cottage was spotlessly clean. Grounds are extensive and attractive with mature trees and nice paving. We arrived during a day of extremely high winds and had to clear a lot of branches off the driveway/pathways on arrival, also decided it wasn’t a great idea to park our car outside the cottage under the trees but there are many other places to park so it wasn’t an issue. We would love to return again so that is our highest recommendation I can give!

Everything was perfect. Cottage was well equipped with the finest appliances. Bed was extremely comfy. Washer and dryer was very handy over our stay. An absolutely beautiful garden. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful cottage, very well equiped and stocked with lots of little surprises. Furnishings were gorgeous. Extremely peaceful and quiet surroundings with lovely gardens surrounding the cottage. Contactless access was excellent but owners were still available to contact if required.

Very well-appointed cottage. It was private, quiet, and had everything we needed to cook our own meals with great appliances and kitchenware (the knives were nice and sharp!). The bed was super comfy. We really appreciated the breakfast supplies and yummy biscuits our hosts left. My partner and I had a great break away and will be back.

Everything. Stunning. Beautiful location. Close to Tauranga and the Mount so I could visit my friends and family between meetings. Nice and Quiet. Private. Could just unwind, sleep, relax do some laundry and chill. Regroup before getting on the road again.

The cottage is spacious and beautifully decorated. We felt pampered with the excellent qaulity and abundance of everything.The place felt home. It was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy. There are shared showers and branded best toiletries. The park outside is beautiful. The owners were really helpful when i could not find the keys. They were kind to place some bread butter and milk in the refrigerator for us. The entire stay was beyond expectation and an experience in itself. Also the proximity to main sight seeing places is good. Highly recommended!

All the amenities we required. Beautifully clean, relaxing ambience. Host had really gone the extra mile. Comfortable bed. Lovely and warm. A total pleasure to stay. Great stay for a couple who enjoy "just relaxing".

This is an extrememly well-appointed and comfortable cottage with everything you need. It is very quiet with a lovely garden. Our host kindly left us bread and spreads, muesli, juice, milk and a chocolate treat in addition to coffee and tea.

It was a really comfortable, a nicely decorated cottage with a lot of nice additional touches.

The cottage was superb in every way. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. We loved every minute of our stay and willl certainly return.

We did find the bed and bedroom very hot and could of done with a fan. Good air conditioning in the living area but didn’t reach the bedroom.

Breakfast was good. The hosts could not be more helpful and made our stay enjoyable under difficult times.

The property is so beautiful that a couple of slingback chairs on the rear deck would enhance “happy hour’.

A charming beautifully presented cottage. We had 2 nights and would DEFINITELY book again if in Tauranga. The cottage had everything u need for a stay of few days and very quiet and handy location.

We had an amazing stay, such a beautiful property both day and night. Villa has everything we needed, such comfy beds and amazing shower. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our wedding.

The cottage is lovely and in a quiet location. It has all the comforts of home with everything you need in the kitchen and laundry and the toiletries were good quality. There were breakfast items provided which was a nice touch and it has a Nespresso machine with lots of coffee choices, I now know the tastes of the full Starbucks range! Everything was top quality and well presented. It was warm on a cold day and has great wifi.
