Riad Dar M

Hele mooie Riad, de 3 heren waren echt ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hadden een taxi geboekt via Dar M die stond al op ons te wachten. En ze kwamen ons ophalen waren we werden afgezet. Onder het genot van thee en koekjes werden we ingechecked en voorzien van informatie. Er werd een hamam op ons verzoek gereserveerd en op 1 avond wat later op de avond geïnformeerd of we in het Riad waren omdat men even wilde eten. Zelfs werd er voorgesteld mochten we 's avonds weg zijn om ons op te halen. Tips voor eten en shopping. En op de dag dat we gingen werden we weer naar onze taxi begeleid. Ontbijt was gevarieerd en lekker kamer was mooi ruim en schoon. Goede airco !

Bed was voor mij te hard maar dat is uiteraard persoonlijk, heb alsnog goed geslapen.

Lo más importante quien lo regenta, personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar para que la estancia sea muy gratificante en cuanto a las instalaciones, Riad muy bonito y con una estética muy relajante, los desayunos de 10.

The Riad is lovely. we stayed at the family suite and my sons were delighted. The room was spacious, the air conditioner was working fine and it was clean and neat. Our host was taking care of us all the time. Waiting for us late at night or walking us to the place very early in the morning. Finding food or a cab. We really felt at home, secured and welcomed.

They need to indicate better the location of the Riad through signs.

The property was as described. Beautiful rooms but understated is the location. It is quiet during nighttime hours but it’s closely located to a road for taxi’s to pick up/drop you off and the souks and Jemaa el-Fna are only a couple minutes walk. Abdel and the crew was very accommodating, coordinating for taxis around the city and early breakfasts, making traveling a lot easier.

The breakfast were only light sweets. Unsure if there were more varied options available but very light breakfasts or sweet breakfasts seems to be the norm.

The Riad was beautifully appointed!!! Bed was comfortable, and the breakfast on the gorgeous terrace was great. The staff were exceptional, Yusuf was very welcoming and spent time with us providing tips and outlining the sites of Marrakesh - thank you Yusuf. Special thanks to Mohammed (the night manger) for your gentleness and kindness. Also for providing us breakfast every morning, taking us to the taxi at 5 in the morning, and for providing us with a light breakfast at 4.30am - such was so appreciated. Lastly thank you to the lovely house lady who cleaned our room wonderfully. We would highly recommend this Riad!

Our stay in Marrakesh was made truly unforgettable by this beautiful riad. The riad itself was stunning - peaceful, elegant, and full of charm. But what really made our experience so special were the incredible staff. Yassine and Mohamed were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. They were so kind, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely caring, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you for such a memorable stay; we would return in a heartbeat!

El Riad se encuentra a unos 10 minutos de la plaza, el personal muy atento en general todo muy bien.

Esta localizado en una calle poco transitable y la verdad a lo primero nos dio un poco de miedo por la zona pero he de decir que no tuvimos problemas ninguno.

Room by the reception had no sound isolation.

The staff were amazing! Mohamed, yaseen and abdel. We had a few things to sort out when we arrived and Mohammed went out of his way to help making the experience of staying in this Riad special.

We would have loved proper coffee in the mornings to start our day. Perhaps the rooms could be kitted out with a little kettle and coffee.

La luz que se enciende sola en la habitación ,dormíamos con niños en una habitación de 4, y no podías levantarte para ir al baño sin despertar a todos. Es lo único que resultó incómodo ,por lo demás perfecto

Fijne centrale Riad, midden in het centrum. De weg ernaartoe is een hele andere beleving, maar 24/7 iemand aanwezig om je te helpen of begeleiden naar de hoofdweg. Ze regelen taxi's voor je, tips voor in de stad. Super personeel. Het ontbijt was ook erg lekker en veranderde elke dag! Fijne kamer met zeep en voorzieningen.

Wij hadden een kamer op de begane grond, wij slapen zelf graag altijd met de ramen open voor frisse lucht. Maar doordat we op de begane grond zaten is elk geluid hoorbaar. Dus je privacy voelt daar niet ideaal. We miste ook wat extra gordijnen voor de ramen, tijdens het douchen luchten en een handdoek ervoor gehangen zodat voorbij gangers niet naar binnen kijken. Kleine tip om toe te voegen voor een fijner verblijf!

Das gesamte Riad Team war super nett und hilfsbereit! Man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt. Transfer vom Flughafen zum Riad wurde organisiert & wir wurden direkt beim Taxi abgeholt. Zum Beginn haben wir ein Getränk & tolle Infos und Tipps zu Marrakesch erhalten. Leckeres Frühstück. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert - wir kommen gerne wieder.

De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk. We genoten van de thee, de koekjes en de uitvoerige informatie die we ontvingen. De bedden en lakens waren verrukkelijk. Heerlijk geslapen na een dag in de hectische oude stad.

Bathroom is spacious and luxurious. There’s a wardrobe and shelf unlike other riads. The staff is very helpful. They accommodate my request for early breakfast as i have a tour to join. Mr latiff (sorry in case i forgot your name). Like the power outlet on the bedside. It’s convenient to charge the phone.

Le Riad est très joli et décoré avec goût. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de pouvoir partager la chambre avec nos enfants tout en ayant notre espace nuit. Nos hôtes, Abdel et Mohammed ont été très accueillants et de bons conseils.

Nous avons trouvé que la petit déjeuner n’était pas à la hauteur de l’établissement. De petites améliorations comme l’ajout de fruits frais, de miel et de yaourt serait un plus.

We had an incredible stay! The highlight was the staff, who went above and beyond assisting us navigate Marrakesh. They deserve an award, they were so incredible!

The Riad was beautifully decorated and the staff so helpful, nothing was a problem.

This is a beautiful Riad, it has been beautifully curated. The staff are so helpful, Mohamed and Yasin were so helpful with everything and looked after us brilliantly. They both speak brilliant English (and French and Arabic and more, I suspect) so communication is easy. It is a real gem.

Nothing, it was great. This place is really good value for money. It had a stunning roof top terrace which we didn’t get to use, due to unexpected and out of season weather, but if we had, our stay would have been even better.

The ground floor rooms can be noisy. Also a faint smell of damp and drains.

The riad was just as beautiful as shown in the pictures. We received a very warm welcome with tea, pastries, and helpful tips for our stay — and the recommendations were excellent. The rooms were clean and lovely, and the 24-hour service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with organizing affordable taxis, making dinner reservations, and giving great advice. We would absolutely stay at this riad again and highly recommend it to others.

The only minor downside is that the rooms aren't soundproof, so you can hear some noise from the outside. However, since it’s a small riad and there isn’t much going on, it didn’t bother us at all. The hosts create such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere that it hardly matters. At night, it was quiet and we slept very well. We mention this as a small point of feedback, but overall it did not affect our very positive experience.

Beautifully curated with Moroccan crafts and modern design. We loved the space from the peaceful cactus garden rooftop for breakfast and sunset to the ground level courtyard for a cooling, refreshing tea time.

Nothing! Others may be sensitive to the noise of the neighborhood (street sounds from motorcycles or construction) or the slight noises that you can hear from the other guest rooms.

Nagyon-nagyon pozitív volt a benyomásunk és bármikor szívesen visszajönnénk ide. A Riad még a képeknél is szebb élőben és nagyon igényes, stílusosan kialakított. Érkezésünkkor a becsekkolsánál 1 órás átfogó tájékoztatót kaptunk Marokkó történelmétől kezdve a helyi szokásokig és mindenféle jó tanáccsal is elláttak minket. Azt éreztük mindenhol így kellene fogadni a vendégeket. Mikor programajánlót kértünk, szívesen segítettek és tényleg olyat ajánlottak, ahova ők is szívesen mennének el, de ami a legfontosabb volt, hogy mi elégedettek legyünk. Abban is segítettek, hogy leszervezték nekünk és tényleg minden nagyon pozitív volt számunkra. A Riad bár kicsi, bőven elég és ha valakinek térre lenne szüksége, csak menjen fel a tetőteraszra picit kikapcsolódni és nézni Marrakesh házainak a tetejét, ahonnan nagyon jó a kilátás. A szobánkkal is abszolút meg voltunk elégedve, pont jó volt kettőnknek a mérete és a kialakítása. A mi szobánk az első emeleten volt és kaptunk hozzá kulcsot is. Az ágy nagyon kényelmes volt és bár csak 2 éjszakát töltöttünk itt, mindig nagyon kipihenten ébredtünk.:) Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom.:))

La decoración de las habitaciones y de los espacios comunes y el personal que desde el primer momento fueron muy atentos .

La falta de insonoridad de las habitaciones...los huéspedes se sientan en el patio a charlar o a llamar por teléfono sin tener en cuenta que hay habitaciones a pocos metros y si es temprano o no, creo que estas zonas comunes deberian estar en espacios donde no se moleste al resto de los clientes ( La recepcion tambien está a dos metros de una habitacion ) Aunque finalmente logramos solucionarlo, tampoco me gustó encontrarme la habitación sin hacer al llegar por la tarde después de todo un día caminando y de turismo...( al parecer no tenían una segunda llave para poder entrar y no nos lo avisaron ) . Por lo demás todo correcto...

Riad Dar M is a quaint stay, definitely got feeling of being in a small community. The rooms are decently sized but I highly recommend booking for 1 person only especially if you are not travelling as a couple. OR make sure you book one if the bigger rooms! My favourite part of the stay is meeting Yassine, he was so helpful especially on our first visit because the Medina was so intimidating to navigate and helped us get taxi and walk us to the square. After that we were pros! The mint tea was absolutely yummy and perfect way to end the night at the rooftop. The location is quite decent I don’t think I walked more than 10 mins to find the souks or Secret Garden.

I liked the property it was just very small compared to the other Riads. Hoping they expand not in size but in offering I.e building up the rooftop area and adding more seating areas.

Nous sommes des habitués de Marrakech, nous changeons toujours de Riad,et celui-ci est vraiment une bonne adresse, très très bien situé, la décoration est magnifique, un mélange tradition/contemporain subtile. Les 3 membres du personnel présent lors du séjour ont tous été très sympas. Le petit déjeuner, assez classique, mais très bon et de qualité. La terrasse est sympa. Les photos sont fidèles. C'est une valeur sûre, pour ceux dont ce sera le premier séjour à Marrakech.

Yasin was a great host. He gave us great tips for restaurants and shared his knowledge about the local culture. Riad itself was clean and quietly located away from the hassle.

We didn’t like the location very much we rented a car and we had to park it far away and walk a long distance with our luggage to get to the Riad There was not a lot of options for the menu but overall it tasted good

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Dar M! Yassin, Othman, and Abdel were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast on the rooftop was very peaceful and the rooms were very comfortable.

The hosts at the Riad were absolutely incredible! Everything from arranging a transfer the moment we landed, picking us up from the taxi, bringing our luggage in, preparing Moroccan tea, taking the time to educate us on the history and background of Morocco and its famous landmarks, providing guidance on how to stay safe and just providing a home away from home. The hosts, Yassine and Othmane were extremely helpful and truly went above and beyond for what was expected. Organizing taxis and negotiating a fair price, or walking us to find the nearest coffee stand were among just a few of the small things that made the service stand out. This service and hospitality really made the entire trip to Morocco so special!

Personale gentilissimo e disponibile anche con consigli per itinerari di visita della città. Riad curato, nuovo e pulito. Posizione comoda. Colazione sempre preparata al momento e con varie proposte tutte diverse nei vari giorni del soggiorno. Super consigliato!

Our stay at the Raid Dar M was amazing. We stayed for two nights, and the facilities were very nice, clean, and comfortable. Our stay was made exceptional by the manager Othman. Othman walked to pick us up from our initial taxi from the airport, made us tea and biscuits at night and fresh breakfast each morning and brought us fresh water when we needed it. He was in constant communication with us during our trip to the Sahara, and when we returned even made us a dinner reservation at a beautiful restaurant by the hotel. We are so grateful for Othman's hospitality throughout the weekend and would definitely recommend the Raid Dar M.

I wish we had a room on the second floor but we didn’t know what it would be like on the ground floor until we arrived

Upon arrival to the area, we were admittedly concerned as it was a busy medina, however upon entry to Dar m, we had a lovely surprise. The attention to details in the beautiful interiors, the lovely fresh breakfast and most importantly, the staff made our stay fantastic. We were warmly welcomed and felt safe during our stay. The team went out of their way to organise our taxis and would come out to meet us if it was late. Our room was very comfortable and well heated (Jan visit). We had a great stay and highly recommend Dar m to others. A special mention to Abdelatif, Yassine & Mohammad, thank you all for your amazing attentiveness and for an exceptional stay xx

Instalaciones muy cuidadas y el trato inmejorable, el personal muy atento y muy amable: Lo recomendaría sin duda. Está muy cerca de los puntos de interés de la ciudad. El acceso, el habitual de los riads de la zona, por calles estrechas pero se llega sin problema.

Il Riad M è meraviglioso e lo è stato ancor di più l’accoglienza dei ragazzi che lavorano lì. Gentili, disponibili e preparati. Non potevamo desiderare di meglio dopo un lungo viaggio in giro per il Marocco, ci siamo sentiti davvero coccolati. Grazie!
