De buurt zelf is minder aantrekkelijk, maar we kozen deze locatie omdat deze op wandelafstand van de Jetty is.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026De studio is modern en smaakvol ingericht en van alle voorzieningen voorzien. De bedden zijn heerlijk comfortabel, waardoor we er uitstekend hebben geslapen. Host Rina is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vooraf kregen we duidelijke instructies om de studio binnen te geraken, waardoor alles heel vlot verliep. Wij boekten deze studio voorafgaand aan onze trip naar Tioman island, en daarvoor was het de perfecte uitvalsbasis. Absoluut een aanrader!

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Super schöne neue Wohnung, toll und stilvoll eingerichtet, das modulare Schlafsofa war super. Sehr schönes Bad. Ideale Lage für die Weiterfahrt mit der Fähre. Gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Gute Kommunikation. Dafür eine klare 10.
Die Fenster waren alle mit dunkler Folie abgeklebt. Gut für den Schlaf aber es fühlt sich etwas komisch an, dass man nicht rausschauen kann. Warum nur 8 Punkte statt 10: die Klimaanlage war direkt über dem Bett und wir konnten sie nicht so stark runterregulieren dass es angenehm war. Es war laut von draussen. Gegenüber befindet sich ein Restaurant das 24 h geöffnet hat. Wenn man kein Problem mit Ohrenstöpsel hat und einen guten Schlaf bestimmt gar kein Problem.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Hat alles gepasst. Wir haben hier - wie so viele - eine Nacht verbracht, um nächsten Tag die Fähre nach Tioman zu nehmen. Das Quartier liegt super und ist loftmäßig modern eingerichtet. Sehr sauber. Man ist gleich beim Busbahnhof und bei der Fähre. Eigentlich alles fußläufig machbar.

Commodités à proximité : Un restaurant directement en face, ainsi que des pharmacies et des supérettes 7-Eleven. Vous avez absolument tout sur place. Je recommande grandement ce logement. Encore merci !

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Wir waren nur eine Nacht in Mersing, da wir am nächsten Tag mit der Fähre nach Tioman fuhren. Die Lage war hervorragend. Wir sind nur ca. 300 m um Ticketoffice gelaufen. Ein Selbstwaschservice und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sowie Restaurants sind gleich vor der Tür. Die Betten waren sehr hart und es ist sehr hellhörig, ansonsten alles super.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026因为第二天一早要过岛，所以我们选择在 Mersing 住一晚，入住了 Based。 很喜欢这里高挑宽敞的房间，设计简约舒适，最重要的是非常干净，让人住得很安心。 民宿的服务也非常贴心。附近有几家不错的咖啡馆，还有很好吃的 cendol，都在步行距离内，非常方便。傍晚时，我们还带着孩子散步到码头旁的游乐场放风筝。 下次再来 Mersing，还是会想住这里。

Absence de climatisation dans le bâtiment et dans l’ascenseur afin d’accéder au logement. Pas de machine à café, pas de table basse et très peu de rangement.

Seul point serait les rideaux qui n’occultent pas.complétement de la lumière mais pour une nuit ce n’est pas un probléme.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026De kamer was zeer modern, proper en comfortabel! Ook de ligging was ideaal, op 2 minuten rijden van de ferry. Er werd een parkeerplek gereserveerd voor ons door de eigenaar en de frigo was gevuld met drankjes. Top accommodatie!
Er was wat geluid van op straat vroeg in de ochtend.

Scariest entrance and lobby that i have ever encountered in an apartment Frontage is a large steel door with keypad thats difficult to operate leading unto a small concrete area with a concrete staircase and a spooky lift Bit noisy at night as there is a 24hour restaurant across the road and most customers seem to travel by motorbike Not a human in sight It confounded any expectations

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Great appartment, very stylish, modern, clean and comfortable. One of a kind in Mersing!Located in walkable distance to Mersing Jetty. Stayed here one night to catch the ferry at 7 am. The owner Rina is very friendly and helps if you have any questions.
Windows are not sound proof although closed. There was loud noise from the streetnand the restaurant across the house until late at night. Other than that a great modern place to stay.

Reviewed May 27, 2026Excellent location with lots of stores and restaurant nearby. Around a 5 minutes walk to Mersing Jetty if you are travelling to Tioman Island. Room is exceptional, huge and includes everything you need. The property manager Rina is also very friendly.
Price is a bit steep around the area, but I do not think you can get anything else of this quality.

Just few things for the owner to consider. The windows are not sound-proof and you can hear motorcycles or mat rempits in the middle of the night. No good for light sleeper. For muslims guests, best that you have the Qiblat sign and also a prayer mat.

The AC was off when I arrived, so the apartment was boiling hot. It took over an hour to cool off even with the AC in full blast. Also, there were no glasses or silverware, which I found odd. The owner said they were in a drawer under the sink, but none of the lower drawers would open.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Self check-in was easy however need to really follow the instructions. Interior was nice and place was clean. The room was spacious (had 1 queen bed and 2 sofa beds). The sofa bed was okay and sturdy too, as some sofa beds can be very flimsy or uncomfortable to sleep in.
Having a more visible signage stating where the entrance is would have been easier as we arrived around 9pm and was looking for the door to enter the premise. While in the room, the welcome note was tucked away as such we didnt realise there was water in the refrigerator that we can drink. Nevertheless, we brought some with us already, so it wasnt a big issue. There was also convenience stores around the area that is just walking distance.

Reviewed Apr 24, 2026Das Studio ist sehr modern eingerichtet. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert super. Ein Lichtblick in dem öden Mersing. Der Check in mit einer Pin ging problemlos. Es lag ein Willkommensgruß auf dem Tisch und es gab kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank. Trotzdem fand ich es etwas unpersönlich.
In der Badewanne zu duschen war ok. Aber der Schlauch von der Brause hätte länger sein müssen. Für den nächsten Morgen hatten wir ein Grab Taxi gebucht. Leider ist trotz Zusage keines gekommen. Wir bekamen dann pünktlich eine Nachricht von Grab, dass keiner kommt. Zu Fuß ist der Jetty aber in ca.7 Minuten zu erreichen.
