An's House homestay & Hagiang local tours

La dueña de la casa era muy agradable y dispuesta si necesitábamos algo, aunque no sabía nada de inglés. Las vistas eran preciosas hacia los arrozales.

El aislamiento de la casa era insuficiente, pues encontramos insectos como cucarachas y arañas dentro del baño y la habitación. Si eres aprensivo con insectos cerca, no lo recomendaría, pues la ubicación de la casa está sobre una charca. Lo que más nos decepcionó fue que al estar en medio de la nada y llegar por la noche le preguntamos a la dueña si ofrecían algo de cenar y nos dijo que sí, que hacía pizzas. Nos saco un montón de pizzas congeladas a elegir, elegimos 2 de ellas, nos las sirvió a medio cocinar y se notaba que llevaban meses y meses en ese congelador. La sorpresa fue al pagar al día siguiente que nos cobró 20 euros por las dos pizzas y dos botellas de agua. De las cenas más caras siendo la peor de toda nuestra estancia en Vietnam.

An is incredibly welcoming and an amazing cook. The dinner she prepared for me was absolutely delicious, and the breakfasts were wonderful too. The bungalow I stayed in was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The views are simply breathtaking. I would definitely recommend An’s homestay!

Esta ubicado en una zona tranquila, con arrozales. Ideal para descansar y poder iniciar el Loop desde allí. An muy atenta y facilita mucho cualquier gestión que necesites. Las estancias son preciosas y muy cómodas. Lo mejor, contraté el Ha Giang Loop con ellos, y los drivers, Tony yÂt, geniales! Recomendables 100%

Está un poco alejado del centro, pero también se agradece.

De locatie was afgelegen, maar zo veel mooier dan de hotels en homestays in de stad. Midden in de natuur, dus je hoort ook wel wat dieren sochtends en in de avond. De gastvrijheid en ontvangst waren top. Eten was ook heerlijk zowel traditioneel Vietnamese avondeten als rijstontbijt!

De insecten, maar daar is niet zo veel aan te doen denk ik.

L’accueil était parfait, très gentil, de soucis de notre confort et s’assure qu’on est tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Parfait pour commencer votre tour en moto.

- Tôi đặt phòng nhà sàn do vốn thích văn hóa bản địa, may thay đến nơi mới phát hiện ra rằng nhà sàn nơi đây lại là một công trình nhà ở với kết cấu cổ điển của người Tày tại địa phương chứ không phải những căn nhà mới được biến tấu. Phòng nhà sàn không có điều hòa nhưng ngày đến nghỉ lại là một ngày mát mẻ, tối ngủ tôi vẫn phải đắp một chiếc chăn mỏng. Ở khu home này còn có những căn bungalow riêng biệt với điều hòa và phòng tắm riêng được trang trí xinh xắn, lần sau nếu đi với gia đình tôi sẽ thử trải nghiệm những căn bungalow đó. - Khu vườn tại home thật tuyệt vời với ao sen thơm ngát, những bông sen căng tròn đang nở rực rỡ, điều này khiến tôi khá bất ngờ vì ko ngờ trên vùng núi cũng có ao sen đẹp như thế, giống khung cảnh ở Tây Hồ hoặc Ninh Bình vậy, nhưng không khí ở Hà Giang thoáng đãng hơn nhiều. Xung quanh home là những mảnh ruộng đang ngả vàng sắp chín, hương thơm của lúa và sen quyện vào nhau, theo luồng gió thổi vào mà cả khu nghỉ phảng phất mùi hương sen lúa, một không khí thiên nhiên trong lành mà Hanoi khó có thể có được, phải tranh thủ hít hà cho nở phổi. - Do đi 1 mình nên tôi không đặt cơm món ăn riêng mà ăn cùng với chị An chủ nhà. Trời ơi bữa cơm tối ngon ngất ngây mà lâu rồi tôi chưa được thưởng thức, toàn những món quen thuộc như tôm rang thịt, thịt ba chỉ heo xào hành, canh chua mà sao ngon thế, có lẽ do không gian đồng quê và âm thanh chữa lành do những động vật nơi phía ruộng kêu ( chão chuộc, dế, ve, ếch..) làm chất xúc tác mà bữa cơm lại trở nên thơ mộng đến vậy. - Tôi có mua vài hộp mứt mận hậu về làm quà, thấy chị chủ home nói rằng đó là món mứt cho mẹ chị làm thủ công hoàn toàn và chỉ có trong mùa hè. Miếng mận dai dẻo, chua nhẹ, ít ngọt uống cùng trà rất ngon, khác hẳn các loại mà tôi đã từng được ăn, tâm đắc với món này quá. chị có bán thêm các loại trà địa phương, tôi được tặng một gói nho nhỏ mang về để uống khi nhâm nhi món mứt mận dẻo, một người chủ home rất nhiệt tình , tôi đánh giá cao sự chăm sóc này.

Tôi ước gì ít muỗi hơn một chút, biết rằng khung cảnh thiên nhiên giữa mùa hè sẽ phải kèm theo những chú muỗi tận hưởng cùng, nhưng tôi vẫn ước ^^

From the moment my driver dropped me off in Ha Giang at An’s House, I completely fell in love with the place. It was everything I had hoped and dreamed for — beautiful rice terraces, mountains disappearing into the mist, friendly people, and a true home away from home. An’s mom and I immediately started chatting through Google Translate. Even though my Vietnamese isn’t good and her English isn’t either, somehow we understood each other perfectly and could have full conversations. That warmth and kindness made me feel welcome from the very beginning. On my first day, I simply went walking and exploring by myself through the village and surrounding areas. Everyone was so friendly, and I had such a wonderful time just soaking everything in. That evening I had my first home-cooked meal there, and the next morning An’s mom came and sat with me on the little patio overlooking the rice terraces while we chatted about life and the devastating floods from the previous year. Seeing the photos afterwards, I honestly could not believe how beautifully they had restored the house in just a year after everything they went through. Their strength and resilience stayed with me deeply. In a strange way, after returning home to South Africa and facing floods myself, I often found myself thinking back to An’s House and reminding myself that if they could rebuild and move forward with such warmth and positivity, then we can too. Everything about my stay felt personal and genuine. I had my own little room and bathroom, felt completely at peace there, and took countless photos because every view looked like something out of a dream. The locals in the village were incredibly kind, and I loved being able to simply walk around, greet people, and experience everyday life in Ha Giang. If you are looking for a homestay experience rather than a hotel — somewhere you can truly connect with the people and culture of Ha Giang — then this is the perfect place to stay.

Magnifique endroit dans les rizières ou le temps s’écoule tranquillement. Idéalement situé pour faire l’Ha Giand Loop. Moto à louer sur place. La propriétaire est adorable et cuisine divinement bien . Préférez les bungalows .

Lovely place overlooking the rice fields in Ha Giang, the perfect stop before or after completing the loop. A short walk from the bus station. The food is amazing and the hosts were really nice!

De accomodatie lag rustig, te midden van het groen. De host An is heel meedenkend en wil het de gasten zo comfortabel mogelijk maken. Ze regelde een privé motortour op de loop. Met 2 ervaren drivers. Dank je voor alles😘

The private room is nice with a beautiful view. An was very welcoming and kind: I arrived late in the evening and she let me use her bike to go get dinner outside as her place does not serve dinner, but in the morning she offered a delusions sticky rice with egg. Also provided a motorbike for rent with great service.

Me quedé una sola noche antes de empezar el loop, y me hubiese encantado quedarme más tiempo para explorar esta zona tan tranquila de Ha Giang. Llegué un poco tarde y aún así me sirvieron una deliciosa cena. Aquí desayuné probablemente el bao más rico de todo mi viaje en Vietnam, y solo por eso mereció totalmente la pena elegir este alojamiento

A beautiful place and homestay just off the main road that runs through Ha Giang. We arrived late in the evening, and the owner was still awake to welcome us. We wanted to get something to eat, but everything was closed. She kindly offered to make us noodles with an egg. Such a warm welcome and very nice if you have had a long day of traveling. We fell asleep to the sounds of nature in the background, and in the morning we woke up to a fantastic view. Truly a lovely place where we would have liked to stay a bit longer.

Quiet location on the outskirts of town. Comfy room and large bathroom with a great bath tub. Pleasant views over the rice paddies. Friendly owner.

Ce lieu a été, de loin, mon hébergement préféré au Vietnam. C’est l’un de ces endroits rares où l’on se sent bien instantanément. Un lieu paisible, chaleureux, pensé avec sincérité.. Les petites chambres à l’étage sont adorable, avec une très belle vue sur les rizières, simples, cosy et pleines de charme. Mention sociale pour la maman de An : c’est une cuisinière exceptionnelle. Inutile d’aller au restaurant, il faut absolument manger sur place. Un véritable petit havre de paix. Je recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés.

we stayed at this homestay before our loop. the room was very basic but clean comfortable, the one we chose had the bathroom outside, but we really did not mind for the price paid. the views of the rice fields around are astonishing. we had amazing food there :)

they arrange an early check in for us, however they let us pay for it (without mentioning it in advance). also no menu for dinner, the food was great but I always had the feeling I was getting overcharged for things as I only knew the price for things at the end of the stay.

Ce homestay est un petit bijou au milieu des rizières, calme, tout en étant a proximité des commodités de Ha Giang. Nous recommandons la chambre avec les grandes baies vitrées, c'est magique de jour comme de nuit avec les guirlandes. (Terrasse et salle de bain privée) Nous avons pris le dîner, cuisiné sur place par la grand mère, et nous n'avons pas été deçu, chaque soir un service différent, copieux et très savoureux. An''s homestay est un refuge hautement recommandé car sa propriétaire mets tout son cœur dans l'accueil de ses invités. Merci beaucoup à elle.

L'endroit est très paisible et apaisant au milieu des rizières. Je n'y suis restée qu'une nuit. La gérante de l'homestay est très gentille. J'ai pu faire une laundry le soir pour le lendemain matin.

The view is magnificent, the food and service excellent. You can choose to have dinner. We did and really enjoyed it. Vegetarian and meat eater alike.

Super freundliche Gastgeberin, die sich auch um den Transfer zum weiteren Reiseziel gekümmert hat. Das Gepäck konnten wir für 3 Tage in der Unterkunft lassen um den Loop mit dem Motorrad zu fahren. Das Abendessen war köstlich. die Unterkunft liegt schön ruhig in der Nähe der Reisfelder aber dennoch kann man fußläufig gut die Stadt erreichen.

I highly recommend staying at An's House. It is so peaceful, and the views out over the rice fields are wonderful. A short distance out of town centre but easy to walk or cycle. An and her staff made me feel very welcome and An was so helpful in arranging my transfers as well as booking my 3D 2N Ha Giang Loop tour. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this homestay was perfect. I came here for rest before doing the ha giang loop, and it was perfect for that. The homestay feels like you are in nature, but is a close walk to restaurants or the bus stop. An is incredibly kind and the place is beautiful. The food is homemade and authentic northern Vietnamese with a changing menu each night. I travelled alone and An welcomed me to eat with her and her mother. Truly a wonderful time. Couldn’t recommend more.

An’s small family business is very charming for a very cheap price. What was especially nice was An’s treatment and availability. Our trip had some hiccups related to transport and she always replied to WhatsApps within 1-2 minutes with help, tips, and she even booked most of the transportation to, during (tour) and from her hotel to Hanoi. Amazing mornings next to the nature. Totally recommend staying here instead of giving your money to big hotels which don’t care about who you are at all!
