Reviewed Mar 1, 2026Well presented, clean and nicely furnished. The birds on the property are a very unique feature and was amazing to view and interact with a lot of the larger parrots. Host was very friendly and attentive in ensuring our stay was a pleasant one.

Nothing really, if I was to nit-pick, I would say cotton sheets, instead of synthetic blend, but like I said its a nit pick.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025Brilliant location, as a bird lover I found the birds sounds relaxing, quiet at night. Layout of the place was roomy, aircon great, barbeque handy and the shower devine!
Wasn't much to dislike, my son prefers cotton sheets so he wouldn't get so hot, shoes are needed out back garden area because of pebble surface.

Explanation on how to use the very large TV would have been appreciated. Some extra items in the kitchen, such as salt and pepper would also have been appreciated. Finally, I never got to see the parrots as I did not know they closed at 4 pm, which was sad.

The headboard from the other bedroom hits the wall everytime my daughter moved slightly and is heard in the main room.

Reviewed Oct 25, 2024The entire apartment was 5 star and the kitchen was the best we have seen in all of New Zealand. The very large TV had all apps . The bedding was luxurious. The outdoor furniture was perfect set next a great BBQ. The bonus was the best collection of parrots that amazed our entire family. 11 put of 10
