Absolutely everything. Monika is an amazing host and makes you feel so welcome. The facilities were beautifully clean, the bed was super comfy I had the most amazing sleeps, the location was serene and my stay was just unlike any other. A true retreat! I would definitely stay again and again!

Despite it lashing down with rain all night, it was really cosy and had everything provided that we needed. Moniker was very welcoming and a great host

It was all perfect.. although had to walk to the external toilet in the rain.

The people that run this are absolutely amazing. They gave us home made bread for our breakfasts in the morning. Just all round awsome would fully recommend staying here

We loved the hosts, the location, the room, the outdoor spa, the homecooked bread, homemade yoghurts and selection of homemade jams. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great 👍 Such a lovely place to stay. The spa was so relaxing and set in lovely plantings.

L'accueil très chaleureux de Monika. Les lieux au milieu d'une magnifique nature. Le chalet est petit mais confortable. Il est bien décoré, on se sent bien avec la petite terrasse devant. Bon petit déjeuner (pain et confiture maison) que nous avons pu prendre sur la terrasse accompagnée par la chatte Lilly et les deux poules de la maison, adorable. Vous pouvez profiter du jacuzzi. Endroit très agréable.

Amazing one night stay and wish to stay more. Monica is such an good host she brought us home made delishes bread. Breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this place!

Monica had homemade yogurt, jam, fresh juice in the fridge, homemade bread. She welcomed us in and generally a really top class , quiet beautiful place to be.

Very friendly, quiet, comfortable and cute.

The Hosts were fantastic, they made us feel at home. Baked fresh bread every day for us and we all became friends. Not a typical experience for us in that regard, we are usually shy .

The weather was of and on rain. We read, went out for dinners where Monica and Rolf suggested, traveled the sites and enjoyed the quiet of the property.

Loved the peaceful quiet atmosphere and warm and welcoming host. Our stay was exactly what we needed!

Wish we stayed a bit longer is my only downside to our experience.

Beautiful location. Instantly greeted with a warm welcome and enthusiasm it was an absolute pleasure. Lots of amazing gestures like the fire being lit prior to arrival, the freshly baked bread with home made jams and organic fruit grown from their very own orchards. Will definitely be returning to this beautiful location with beautiful people

Für uns war hier einfach alles traumhaft schön. Es hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen und wir wären gerne noch viel länger geblieben, denn wo bekommt man schon frisches. selbst gebackenes Brot, oder findet ein kleine Auswahl an Kräutern uns Salaten, die extra für die Gäste angebaute worden sind? Hier hat einfach alles gestimmt und es hat uns "Nichts" gefehlt. Monika & Rolf sind wunderbar nette Gastgeber, die jederzeit ansprechbar sind und sich Zeit für dich und deine Fragen / Wünsche nehmen. Sie sind stets bemüht, dir deinen Aufenthalt so schön, wie möglich zu machen. Sie lesen dir deine Wünsche von den Augen ab und versuchen sie zu erfüllen. Für uns hat einfach Alles gepasst. Ich wüsste nicht, was man besser machen könnte.

Man konnte super abschalten, das kleine Häuschen war so liebevoll eingerichtet, das Frühstück mit selbstgemachtem Brot, Joghurt und Marmelade war zauberhaft, die Tiere auf dem Hof waren eine tolle Begleitung und besonders genossen wir, abends auf der Bank im Garten zu sitzen und ins Grüne zu schauen.

für mich persönlich war alles super. Andere könnte es stören, dass das Badezimmer nicht direkt am Häuschen ist, sondern man über die Einfahrt gehen muss (ist aber wirklich nicht weit und ein Bewegungsmelder macht auch Licht)

So liebevoll und besonders ! Monika und Rolf waren exzellente Gastgeber. Es gab selbstgebackene Kekse und Brot, einfach toll. Auch der whirlpool war super. Tolles Gespräch mit den beiden. Kurzum es war mega gut und wir würden immer wieder gerne hierher zurück kommen

We've been to a few B&Bs and this one is the best! Hydrotherapy spa, birdsong, animals, nature, beautiful surroundings and hosts who made us feel warmly welcomed. We left their place feeling blessed and refreshed, slept amazingly well

Beautiful relaxing place. Perfect for unwinding and feeling at one with nature. Monika provides delicious homemade bread, yoghurt and jam. The cabin was very cosy and impeccably clean, as was the shower room. Bathrobes and slip ons were included for added comfort. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Absolutely loved our stay and would so love to come back one day.

This was hands down the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. So peaceful and relaxing, everything has been thought out beautifully. The host was amazing and had freshly baked bread for us on arrival, along with beautiful home made yoghurt and jams. The spa was amazing and I highly reccomend a night time spa as the star gazing is a must! Would love to return again.

The location was beautiful, the use of the word 'retreat' in the name is spot on. Country location, peaceful and yet surprisingly close to the main highway. The welcome and hospitality was warm and genuine, felt like we were visiting friends without any uncomfortable hovering. Fresh baked bread and home made jam was a lovely treat after a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed.

Only because we are spoilt at home I will say the shower was little less than we are used to, but certainly not to take away from everything that was exceptional. Absolutely nothing else, everything met or exceeded expectations.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in toller Umgebung, sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt:)

The jacuzzi was beautiful stars and just the attention to detail these people have provided with all the little things from the cute butter tray that comes with the free breakfast with fresh bread delivered warm at ur door in the morning and it doesnt stop home made jamz and home made yogurt In the fridge this place is deffs the whole package thanks Monika we will be back 😀

There is no TV but my hubby who can't live with out a big screen brought his projector along then used top sheet on bed to flick over the sliding door curtain rail and boom big screen was really a perfect experience

Herzliche Gastgeber mit einem sehr schönen Grundstück und super Unterkunft. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es sehr empfehlen.

Monika is a lovely host, our stay was lovely and value for the money, her homemade bread 🍞 yoghurt and jam divine, we will be returning. 🙏

Really loved the place! The environment is so nice and green 🌿. The room has a lovely countryside vibe,feels peaceful and relaxing. Bathroom is super clean and tidy, and the facilities are all there. I felt very comfortable and relaxing staying here. Thanks so much!

The facilities were outstanding. The shower was a little cold in the morning due to the gas needing to be changed over but it was great. Our room was warm and comfortable.

I should have booked longer.

Amazing freshly baked bread, homemade conserves and yogurt were such a thoughtful and wonderful touch. The robes provided were great for the traverse out to the bathroom.

Perhaps a bit of a path or stepping stones from the unit to the outdoor bathroom facilities would have saved our soft feet from stones in the driveway. Also to keep transfer of dirty feet inside the cabin to a minimum too.

Omg this place was heavenly! I really enjoyed the rustic vibes, and my husband and I enjoyed exploring around the farm! Monika is such a great, talented host who's made us feel very welcomed and at home. Also, the cat (forgive me I forgot her name!) is so lovely and friendly! We enjoyed the cuddles from her and I'm sure she's enjoyed the pets from us 😊 really lovely place, plus the breakfast, gosh, Monika bakes such delicious bread I couldn't help myself from having them again and again. Everything about it was lovely to our room, location and the hosts were really lovely too they made us a loaf of bread from scratch and there home made jam was AMAZING!! I would highly recommend on staying here to anyone....1 of the best places I've been too.

We liked everything. Monica and Rolf are great hosts and brought in fresh baked bread when we arrived. Setting is lovely. The unit is very comfortable. Nice spa with robes provided. Definitely recommend this place. Only a 10 minute drive to Omokoroa.

Well, what can I say about the property and the owners, Monika & Rolph?! Swiss-Kiwi Resort is an absolute gem of a place. It was the best property we’ve stayed in on all of our travels over the years. We were so well looked after, from the fresh eggs from the chickens to the bread and desserts cooked by Monika. Nothing was too much trouble and you can tell on meeting them that they love hosting and getting to know their guests. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. It was in a great location to explore the Bay of Plenty beaches and only 1 hr from Hobbiton and Rotorua. The gardens and hot tub were superb, which we made full use of. We feel like we have made friends for life. Thank you to Monika & Rolph for making it a Christmas we will never forget.

It is an idyll. Located in the hills away from any madding crowd. My single room was a lovely little cottage built by Rolf, the male host, an engineer of considerable skill. My lady host greeted me with a loaf of freshly baked bread. Her chickens visited frequently, lovely friendly birds. A private bathroom was a few metres away: nicely done too. Parking on site. Wifi worked despite the warning that it might be dodgy. Lots of breakfast items supplied. I used the gas barbecue for my dinners. Pan and tools supplied. Excellent washing machine with a 28 minute cycle. What was there not to like? I could happily spend a summer there.

The welcoming was fantastic, warm fresh baked bread awaited us with treats , and plenty of options for breakfast with homegrown fruit, fresh yogurt and a choice of cereal, also home baked bread and reassurance that if we need anything to just ask, clean and comfortable facilities

Honestly , it was perfect , for my Daughter and myself, we enjoyed the time away from home_ work relax with birdsong clear skies and mutch more

What a place! The host, Monika was so welcoming, she made us a fresh loaf of bread and there were loads of home grown/made treats! The accommodation is cosy and location is so beautiful! We loved the hot tub - it was a little rainy, so not many stars to see, but you'll an have an incredible treat if you are lucky enough to have a clear night! We loved meeting the chickens and cat too!

Very clean and well maintained. The property is outside of Tauranga, but relatively close to restaurants (around 10 minutes drive). Great place if you’re looking to stay away from the city

Bathroom is detached from the property, but it’s only a few seconds walk. The bathroom is also private, and not shared which is good.

The property itself was amazing with clean facilities, beautiful jacuzzi to relax, comfy bed and amazing view from the balcony. What made it even more special was our host’s lovely and kind hospitality and caring nature. Her homemade bread and breakfast food prepared for us were all amazing and we had amazing time relaxing with nature & animals & beautiful food! She even offered to bring some ointment for my sprained toe! The area itself is only 40mins drive from the Tauranga CBD but there are a lot of things to explore nearby so I definitely recommend you booking this place. The bathroom/toilet was less than 50steps away and is super well stocked and well kept. Thanks so much for your kindness and we will definitely be back if we are in the area. ❤️

I spend an average of two working weeks a month on the road, hence I stay in many different spots between Wellington and Auckland. We simply can not fault a solitary thing. It is truely an exceptional place and hosts. Many thanks. You will be seeing me again.

Lovely and quiet

The isolation, cleanliness, comfort & warmth (both literal heating & the demeanour of our wonderful hosts). If you're after a tiny house experience that is cosy, comfy and an absolute treat: this is the place to go. Monika and Rolf are SO accommodating (Rolf makes the BEST multigrain bread I've ever had) and Monika greeted us in such a friendly and welcoming manner. If we come back this way, we will DEFINITELY return!

The fact that we didn't stay here longer!! The bed was a bit bouncy, I think we ran out of hot water mid-shower (I tend to shower too long) & the (amazing) bathroom is separate to the room, but these did not detract from what was an EXCELLENT night's stay.
