La naturaleza es absolutamente hermosa!

Property as described and the host was the loveliest man. So accommodating and his cooking and food was absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough,the views are amazing too.

La réalité ne correspond pas vraiment à ce qui est décrit. Pas de possibilité de se restaurer sur place ou d’accéder à internet. Ce n’est pas un problème en soi mais c’est bien de le savoir en avance. les gens sont très gentils mais la communication est tellement compliquée que nous avons eu du mal à prendre des décisions pour partir en randonnée.

The service at Eagles Eco Lodge, Kandy was exceptional. I checked in at midnight (12:00 AM) and checked out at 5:00 AM, and the staff were awake, waiting for me, and ready to assist at both times. They even helped me with turning the vehicle. Their hospitality, dedication, and customer care were truly outstanding. Highly recommended!

Amazing views! Helpful staff, great value for money.

Very thin walls so could hear the people next door all night long. But can't really be helped by the accommodation.

Nice view towards the lake!

Staff doesn't speak English, owner was not present. Large room but would need renovating, no mosquito net with lots of insects in the room. Location is far from everything, no shops or restaurants close by. Would not recommend for solo travellers.

Fine for a one night stay, gorgeous view from the upper room.

The housekeeper (a very sweet man) and owner both said that curry for dinner was available - which sounded good. Unfortunately we didn’t get to eat for another 3 hours after us asking, by which point it was too late for us. We would have eaten elsewhere if they had communicated this with us at any point. As other reviews say, lots of mosquitoes in the room and no net over the bed. The ‘deluxe’ room didn’t come with half the things mentioned on the listing (toiletries, bath etc) and we were only provided with one towel and too thin bedsheets; it was cold at night. We told the manager via WhatsApp we would not be paying the quoted rate as the room was so inadequate. They blamed their housekeeper which is a very poor attitude, take some responsibility.

The man running the hotel is very nice, the food is good (and a lot) and the hotel is in a very nice location. From the inside the hotel looks a bit older, but that's fair for the price you pay.

The ramp to get to the car park can be a bit challenging if you're still getting used to a tuktuk, but I guess that's more my problem than that of the hotel...

Beautiful view from upper floors, clean and pleasant place, and friendly staff

Parking entrance is difficult to reach (narrow access road on steep hill). Also, although we booked a "family room with mountain view", there was no such option (upper floors with mountain view, had only double rooms)

A gorgeous hideaway on a hill where you can lookout onto the water and contemplate life. I had a very special stay here. The host was a beautiful and peaceful man who made my stay what it was. Wonderful meals and just a lovely place with all types of wildlife passing through to bask in the serenity.

Wunderbare niederländische Architektur, das Zimmer mit Blick über den See war sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll ausgestattet mit Allem was man braucht, sogar eine Kerze und Streichhölzer und Kleiderbügel gab es. Liebe zum Detail und sehr großzügig. Man fühlt sich willkommen und als geschätzter Gast.

Der sehr nette Besitzer war leider nicht vor Ort sondern in Colombo. Er und seine Frau haben sich zwar rührend telefonisch um mich gekümmert aber in der Lodge war niemand der Englisch spricht.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff member ( uncle😌)were very friendly and provided excellent service. Recommended and peaceful place spent your night.

I liked their service especially as a woman who travelled at night with a baby girl. They gave me guidance throughout the trip. Their friendly service was exceptional. I will visit again.

I was thoroughly impressed by the breakfast offerings. The variety and quality of the dishes provided a delightful start to each day. The attentive staff ensured that the breakfast experience was both enjoyable and satisfying. We spent one wonderful night at Eagle's Lodge Kandy, and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the facilities. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common areas were well-kept. Beyond the excellent facilities, the food was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed every meal, and the staff were very accommodating. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind, with all the comforts you could ask for.

Eagle's Lodge Kandy provided a truly exceptional stay. The culinary experience alone was worth the trip. For single night, we were treated to incredibly delicious and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. Every meal was a highlight. Coupled with the excellent and well-maintained facilities, our stay was incredibly comfortable and memorable. If you're a foodie looking for a peaceful retreat near Kandy, this is the place
