Reviewed Apr 19, 2026My partner and I liked the space and the area that the property was located in. The room was cold, because of the weather but the hosts did a great job at ensuring that we had blankets to keep us warm. The host also communicated where we could find the keys and getting on to the property was incredibly easy.
I don't have any complaints about the property or the hosts, it was cold but Bloemfontein is naturally known for its extremes in weather. So all was good.

The showered head is broken - it needs immediate replacement. Controlling water temperature in the shower is just impossible. Looks like they use gas geyser and it is not nice TV remote is not working, buttons are mixed up, you can't use it at all

It is Awkward to get to apartment with luggage and entrance difficult to navigate safely in the dark. The low protruding beams at the door dangerous. The apartment was icy cold with no gas in the heater and tile floors brutal to walk on bare feet. A completely open plan cottage with no privacy whatsoever for the toilet is unacceptable. The geyser was luke warm even when we requested it warmer. There was not sufficient cutlery for 2 pax. The WiFi was too slow (2G) and buffered throughout our 1 night stay. The TV not connected to the WiFi and frustrating to use.

The WiFi connection was very slow.it needs some attention from the technicians.
