Water not warm enough when I needed to take a shower, l believe maybe sharing a geyser is a cause. The room is nice but the bed is not comfortable. The place was getting sufficient natural lighting or air since it's in. Between a garage and a wall

Reviewed May 26, 2026The place is in a safe location and quite neighborhood. There is a shopping complex nearby for fast food and other convinient items. Kitchen fully R500 equiped which made it easy for me prepare meals during my stay. Very close to UFS when driving or using uber, I did struggle getting to campus. Great hoast, very freindly.

Reviewed May 7, 2026Edwin is a superb host and was in contact with us from the moment we made our booking which brought piece of mind. He met us to hand over the keys and to show us around the apartment which had everything we needed for our stay. The main reason for our visit was to do the Inibos parkrun which is a 700m walk from the property. Edwin also gave us some great suggestions of what to do and visit in our short time in Bloem which was fantastic.
If you are tall, like my hubby, your feet are going to hang off the end of bed ;-) Other than that the bed is super comfortable.

It was clean and neatly prepared, with soap,toothpaste and clean towels. WiFi was fast and the smart tv helped with relaxing after a hard day. Very quiet and safe location, took a walk one morning, and could wake up and do work.

It was really hot inside the unit without any fans, an Aircon would have made a difference , but I had my own small fan so it was okay for me.
