Toilet and bathroom were not separate. Given that there was only one bathroom, it would be better to have the toilet separate.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2026Quiet location, even though close proximity to neighbours. Comfortable beds, good kitchen facilities. Great family size dining table and helpful to have a washer/dryer
the toilet is in an odd location in the bathroom and would be difficult for talk or larger people to sit in comfortably. Not quite enough lounge seating for 5 adults, however we used some dining chairs to make up for this. No laundry powder supplied, we also had to top Up toilet paper as only 1 roll on the hook.

Reviewed Dec 18, 2025Cosy, charming and warm place for the family for 1 night in Dunedin. Great host and fast communication. Great location near the beach. Easy self check-in and enough parking for 2 x AWDs at the front. I'd recommend if you're passing through Dunedin.
Toilet is in an odd position facing the wall makes it tight. But very minor unless you're a big person.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2025Quietly tucked in a neighbourhood close to the Southern Scenic Route, the facilities were well-maintained with comfortable beds. Had a really good rest before my flight the next day.
It’s not a con for me as I was well aware of the location, but for anyone considering it, just note that it’s not close to the city centre. Youu’ll need to drive a bit to get there.

Reviewed Nov 4, 2025House was indeed pretty but quite constraint. We had 2 vehicle and parking was good enough for us. Nice quiet neighbourhood. We arrived late and left early, so there was really not much time to linger in the house. We managed some time in the town centre, Sir Leonard Wright Lookout and the nearby beach. 1 night was too short for us. I would recommend 2 nights stay in the city.

There are a few inconveniences during my stay: • The room does not have enough heating. • There is no proper place to hang clothes. • The hot water system is limited — it can only be used in either the kitchen or the shower, but not both at the same time. • When someone is showering, hot water in other areas must be stopped.
