Lo consiglio. Sono stata una notte e posso dire di essermi trovata molto bene. Tutto pulito dai bagni alle camere e personale gentile e amichevole.

Non c'è stato niente che non mi sia piaciuto.

Ottima posizione, a due passi dal mercato, dal centro e dalla stazione eppure lontano dal caos turistico Ambiente molto accogliemte e familiare, camere spaziose, letto comodo. Le ragazze dello Staff super! Granita una mascotte davvero simpatica! Nonostante io non sia piú giovanissima.mi sono davvero sentita come a casa.

El ambiente es genial para gente joven y las instalaciones están perfectas! Recomendable si viajas solo para conocer gente!

Smeštaj je prelep, osoblje mnogo ljubazno i strpljivo. Sve je čisto i prelepo. Ovo mi je bilo prvo iskustvo u hostelu i odusevio sam se. Rado bih se vratio 🙌🙌

Atmosphere

Choosing to stay here was definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made this year. The location is super convenient and the amenities provided are extremely generous given the pricing for the stay. The toilets are large and always kept clean which I was incredibly grateful for. The staff were so kind and welcoming and organised impromptu trips to the beach and evening walks- I really appreciated the opportunity to get to know Catania as well as the other residents. The highlight of my stay was a tiny baby cat called Granita who is adorable and super friendly. As a female solo-traveller, I felt incredibly safe here and I think the staff do a stellar job to maintain it that way, thank you! One of the volunteers even helped me make biryani and I’m so happy to have created such beautiful memories to takeaway ❤️

Komunitní způsob ubytování je skvělá příležitost poznat lidi z různých koutků světa. Pokud se rád družíš s novými lidmi a netrváš na sterilním prostředí, je to pro tebe pravá volba. Za naši rodinku super!

Emplacement, quartier ancien, authentique, vivant. Catane est une tres belle ville, de nombreux lieux à visiter.

La casa è gestita da alcuni volontari provenienti da tutto il mondo. C'è stato un bel momento di condivisione!

La struttura non è super pulita, si vede appunto che sono ragazzi a gestirla.

Otel otantik falan değil baya kötü kirli kötü kokulu eski ve korkutucu bir halde. Oda 5 kişilikti. Eşyalar çok eskiydi. Baya dökük şeyler. Tamamen çöp kokuyordu. telefon ve mesaja da hemen dönüş sağlanmadı...sağımda solumda uyuyan ile burun buruna uyuduk neyse ki delik deşik para anlar vardı ve ben havluları I örterek kendime uyku için kişisel alan yaratabildim. Yani değişik ve kötü bir tecrübe oldu benim için. 9 puan ortalamasonı asla hakketmiyor.

Pulito. Se devo trovare il pelo nell’uovo, direi che servirebbe un po più di pulizia nei bagni, ma per essere condivisi erano abbastanza puliti.

Є все що потрібно. Безкоштовне печиво та кава це вау за таку ціну проживання 😃 Дуже близько до центру і 2 хв до ринку. Все супер!

Έμεινα στο δωμάτιο με τα τέσσερα κρεβάτια για ένα μόνο βράδυ. Όμορφος ξενώνας με ιδιαίτερο στυλ. Ένα μεγάλο σπίτι, με δωμάτια, 3 μπάνια, καθιστικό, κουζίνα και μπαλκόνι. Η διακόσμηση ήταν ιδιαίτερη, με vintage έπιπλα και διακοσμητικά. Τα κρεβάτια ήταν μονά, όχι κουκετες. Τα μπάνια ήταν πολύ καθαρά. Το αγαπημένο μου σημείο ήταν το μπαλκόνι. Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό. Η κουζίνα ήταν οργανωμένη και υπήρχαν και κάποια τρόφιμα διαθέσιμα για όλους κυρίως για πρωινό.

Δεν υπήρχαν παραβάν μεταξύ των κρεβατιών και lockers.

Do facto de me terem cobrado uma taxa por ter chegado à noite, sendo que essa informação não constava no booking e não me passaram recibo desse pagamento, mesmo tendo sido pedido. Do facto de não ter sentido qualquer simpatia por parte das anfitriãs.

Aardig personeel, je mag gebruik maken van de keuken. Leuk teras. Mooie locatie vlak bij de grote straatmarkt.

In de slaapkamers heb je ontzettend veel lawaai van de straat. Eerste nacht daarom slecht geslapen, daarna had ik me oordopjes aangeschaft.

Great value in a good location near to the main market. Spacious room with high ceiling and good WiFi. Delightful shared balcony and living room with convenient kitchen facilities. Good secure location in a great building.

Very loud street noise at all hours due to persistent traffic and rubbish collection. Shared bathrooms were often occupied for long durations as showers not separate. Air conditioning took a while to cool the room and was a bit temperamental. We were charged a late arrival fee at 9pm and never saw the staff again after check in.

The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. The place is decorated with a fine taste. Next time (soon) I will also browse the book’s selection.

Das Personal war super und es gab auch immer Austausch mit anderen Gästen 😁 Das Hostel und die Zimmer haben alle einen eigenen Charme 😊 vor allem der Balkon ist super😊 und alle sind super nett und offen😊

I felt at home at Casa Verdi from the very first moment—more than in any other hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The atmosphere feels like a shared home rather than a hostel, and the rooms are thoughtfully decorated and offer plenty of personal space. The hostel staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions or recommendations. I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend Casa Verdi to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay.

Location

Do not be fooled by the "family culture and human needs" manifesto this place markets online to justify its premium prices. It is a commercial business hiding behind a hippie facade, and the reality is a massive disappointment. ​ First, the infrastructure cannot handle the capacity. If just 2 or 3 people are showering or using the kitchen at the same time, the water pressure drops to zero. I was literally left standing there with soap all over me, unable to rinse off. For the price they charge, basic working plumbing should not be a luxury. ​ Second, the service culture is toxic. Management relies on unpaid "volunteer" staff who lack basic hospitality ethics. They treat the common areas like their private living room and paying guests like an inconvenience. After checking out, I left my bags in good faith. When I returned to collect them, the staff aggressively badgered me and several other international guests about exactly what time we were leaving, creating a hostile, "get out" atmosphere. ​When I privately emailed management to highlight this, I was met with a defensive, gaslighting response claiming their hostility was just a "friendly question." As a User Experience Researcher and hospitality host myself, I know the difference between "managing space" and pure arrogance. ​They want corporate-level profits but provide amateur, defensive service and broken infrastructure. If you want a reliable shower and to be treated with mutual respect as an adult traveler, avoid this place.

Loved this place. Guys are adding many beautiful details to all around. Place is super clean, everything is on place. Guys on reception were always ready to help. Place is walking closely to the centre, and busses, trains. Many cafes are around

Todos los espacios están muy bien ambientados y decorados. Tiene la impronta de Italia en su arquitectura.

All good, I enjoyed my stay here and would come back! Spacious rooms, clean common areas, nice terrace to hang out, good wifi. Perfect location. Free coffee, tea and a couple other things which was a nice touch.

If anything, the room faces a street which is very loud at night with cars and people talking. Regardless I could sleep very well with earplugs.

I loved this guest house or hostel. My room was quite big. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Their wasn't that much noise from other guests, but it was noisy outside. This didn't really bother me as i'm partially deaf and could block it out with ear plugs. It would have been nice to have a safe and a better mattress in the room, but everything was great.

Difícil de encontrar la puerta del lugar al llegar. El hostel está dentro de un edificio. Solo verás una puerta cerrada, con timbres como si fuera un departamento particular. Y, recomiendo llevar un buen repelente, había mucho mosquito por la noche.

Der Balkon und der Salon haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet.

Abends und Nachts gab es viele Mücken. Die Türen und Fenster haben kein Mückennetz. Nach nach einem Abend und einer Nacht hatte ich leider viele Stiche im Gesicht und am Hals. Die Mücken haben mich leider nachts geweckt.

Casa verdi no es sólo un hostel es una casa-hogar hermosa! La ubicación es perfecta, la cocina y los espacios comunes son muy comodos y lo mejor Granita! Una gatita muy hermosa

Really cool design, with friendly atmosphere and staff. Very clean and tidy and located excellently.

The bed was a bit too short for me and I struggled with mosquitos in the night.

Chambre magnifique et personnel très accueillant. Le genre de lieu dans lequel on se sent chez soi et qui donne envie de revenir. Un endroit qui gagne à être connu. The Place to Be à Catane si vous aimez les lieux avec une histoire, du caractère et une ambiance chill au top.

Super expérience dans cet hôtel. A 15 min de la gare routière pour Syracuse ou Taormine ou Etna. Et 15 mon du centre. Excellent marché plein air a 2 min. Bel acceuil. Super ambiance. A vibe e a decoração do hostel é legal. A localização é boa também.

Os colchões são horríveis infelizmente. As vezes parece não ter ninguém que gerencia o hostel por perto.

Auberge super bien située dans Catane, parfaitement équipée. Les espaces communs sont très chaleureux, et tout est très propre. Le staff est accueillant et présent si besoin. L'ambiance est vraiment sympa, même si comme j'étais avec mes enfants, j'ai moins profité du côté "auberge de jeunesse". Mais c'est une super adresse.

Vraiment aucune isolation phonique sur la rue. C'est comme si vous dormiez la fenêtre ouverte, donc ça va si vous avez l'habitude du bruit de la ville, mais si vous voulez être au calme absolu, c'est pas l'idéal.
