Very central and a nice location to stay

Exceptional Stay & Hospitality! We had a wonderful experience, thanks to outstanding service and a delicious breakfast (the idli, puri bhaji, and omelets were amazing!). Special thanks to Deepak Bhardwaj and Nisha Biswas for their incredible warmth and professionalism. The entire staff was efficient, the reception team was fantastic at coordinating our tours, and the ATS car service provided reliable, reasonably priced transport. Highly recommended!

The restaurant operates a bit differently. For instance when we asked for tea at 12 noon soon after checking in, it was flatly refused sighting "lunch" Also the property had some construction going on roof top so we heard the drilling sounds for a good 30-40 mins until they eventually stopped.

The hotel seems to be recently renovated. It was decorated and lit neatly. The room size was very good - quite spacious. The sea view room on third floor had a nice view of the bay. It also had a spacious sit-out area for larger groups to sit together and enjoy evening tea or family/group games. The staff was also quite humble and helpful. The part is the location. It is hardly 5 mins walking from cellular jail which was mainly reason for me to choose this hotel. It is the nearest best hotel there. It is also at walking distance to the main market and had ample auto/taxi etc. crossing by to catch.

The restaurant was also decent. The food quality was mostly nice. I will not say that it I did not like it. But it could have been better. We have 5 meals here including buffet breakfast. Only once, when we ordered paneer and aloo paratha - they were tandoori parathas and not baked well. Daal - khitchdi was more of daal and rice mixed together. All other items and meals were good. Staff was also polite and courteous. They offered to get the parathas again, but we did not want to wait for it. All other items like Nan, daal, rice, noodles, poori, chola, tea, etc. in all other meals were good. Poori infact were excellent.

Det var lyxigt, rent och frukost buffén var jättegod och magvänlig. Man fick mycket kvalité och bekvämlighet för relativt lite pengar. Personalen var super hjälpsam, kompetent och tillmötesgående. Man fick en god kall välkomstdrink vilket kändes härligt. Lokalerna är snyggt designade och vackra!

Не работал nfc на терминале, не смогли оплатить картой. На завтрак маленький выбор, но это общая проблема этих островов, даже в отелях, где выбор больше, есть нечего, все очень острое.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night only, on our way from Neil Island back home to the Czech Republic. The location is great (next to Cellular Jail, and close to the center of town), and from our room we had a great view of the sea and Ross Island. The room was sufficiently spacious, with the bathroom being larger than usual (and with some pleasant details, like a wall-mounted cosmetic/vanity mirror). As for peculiarities: the hotel does not have its own breakfast room – you have to leave the hotel and enter the restaurant next door, where you find a buffet, but not very attentive waiters (and if you want coffee, the waiter gets out onto the street, to get your coffee from the stall just outside the restaurant…). More peculiarities: the room’s door is not self-closing, so you either have to remember to manually lock it, or be prepared to have some small Indian kids mistakenly entering your room every other minute. And in the bathroom, the toilet roll holder is so low, that your toilet paper is almost always down on the (wet) floor (besides, for some unknown reason, they supply you with very minimal toilet paper rolls – about a quarter of the regular size). Nevertheless, our stay was OK, but we pity that the above mentioned “peculiarities” diminished our (initially rather favourable) impression of this hotel.

Some minor irks (breakfast in different restaurant, no self-closing door, some details in the bathroom), but nothing to spoil your stay.

Quite efficient pre-arrival communication. Location: central (slightly uphill), with a view over the sea. Room: we had a sea-view room with balcony, which was spacious, with two big filtered water bottles, toiletries, and very clean. Balcony to sit in the evening or early morning, no noise. For a budget hotel, at 40 Euro, value for money.

Shower should be in the corner and toilet bowl before that - as is right now, the floor gets wet (since there's no cubicle or curtains) and to go to the toilet you need to walk over the slippery floor. Checkout at 9:00. This may be common on this island set, but for tourists who travel halfway around the planet for holidays, which involves not wanting to stress about having to wake up even earlier than end of breakfast time to leave room. Breakfast in neighboring restaurant was buffet but disappointing. Some local dishes and breads, but only some sad-looking chunks of water melon, no tea or coffee, no butter. Waiter was disinterested in helping. No restroom for hotel guests, only common restroom outside the establishment.

I did a short trip over New Year’s Eve to the Andamans and chose this hotel. I was very happy, as everything went smoothly. The location is very close to the jetty and the Cellular Jail, and the rooms had everything I needed. The 5:00 a.m. airport transfer (on January 1st, right after New Year’s Eve!) was also arranged very smoothly, and I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing in particular. I just had to mention three times that I wanted an airport shuttle for my flight and not a shuttle to the jetty 😄 Better safe than sorry though—I was delivered smoothly to my destination.

Location is very good but the rooms are not sea facing . Staff was good and polite . Clean room though small for a family of 4. Tea maker , potable water and toiletries were availble. Tried to give comfort as much as possible

Hotellet som helhet var slitet med synliga elkablar dragna över golv och genom väggar. Det var trasiga handtag och knappt fungerande aircondition på rummet. Utsikten från rummet på detta ”seaview hotel” var en bakgård full av skräp och byggbråte. Frukosten som ingick var väldigt enkel och erbjöd ovanligt få alternativ. Hotellet motsvarade inte förväntningarna och priset var högt sett till vad man får för pengarna.Det kostade ändå en

The bathroom was miserable. Its always wet becuase of ac pipe leakage, cabinate under basin was mohldy, smelly and broken. Water outlet of the bathroom was partly blocked, towels were not good either. It could have been because of the refurbishing not being complete in the hotel. Overall it was not good

The property is at great location in port Blair. Cellular jail is at just 2 mins walk. Easy connectivity to every ferry point and airport. The balcony view is beautiful and interior is lavish.

Everything about the hotel is excellent. Rooms clean and spacious. The staff are very warm and well behaved. The services were prompt and efficient. Great stay.

The hotel was in a good location. Decently sized rooms and quite clean. For the price paid, it provided decent facilities.

The location of the hotel is one of the best in Port Blair. It is just walking distance from the Cellular jail and has a fantastic view of the bay and the Ross island from the higher floors.

The restaurant service is not efficient. We kept calling in the morning for tea but nobody picked up. We wanted to have some snacks at 5:30pm but the restaurant staff were not ready to serve.

The staff are courteous and can service they provided was fair and timely. We had a great time. They helped us with reserving cellular jail shoe tickets.

Location was very good but no balcony in room and nowhere it was mentioned while booking that we won't get a balcony.

Everything was spic and clean. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Rooms had extra bit space for total comfort. Excellent, all in all.

This was our second stay. The Toilet seat was broken, and the bed linen was clean but had terrible stains over them..Would not stay again.

For a budget, very cheap hotel, it was perfect for our overnight stay. Liked that they messaged us then picked us up from the airport. Stayed here on the way back from Havelock Island to Delhi. They also picked us up from ferry.

Very busy road so even though you could see the sea from our balcony, too noisy to sit out.

We loved our stay. Its a great location close to Aberdeen Pier for boats to Ross Island and close to shops. The staff were very helpful and friendly and helped with our laundry and boat trip. The food next door was delicious and the room was comfortable with a great view over the sea.

Breakfast buffet could do with a few more options but still good. Black out curtains would also be useful.

No lift and had to climb 3 floors, which was ok for me, but consider this while booking

The wasn’t as described in Booking.com in fact is wasn’t the Square Inn at all. It was the Fly Inn which was undergoing renovations.

It wasn’t as advertised. There was basically no restaurant, no fitness centre and no wellness centre. These was all advertised on booking.com and did not exist.

Check out time is weird. 9 AM checkout is unacceptable for a hotel in an island. No elevators up to your room. Also, the hotel does not allow outside food. Why can’t someone order Swiggy/doordash into their room? Strange policy to force people into ordering food from their restaurant downstairs. The options in that restaurant are limited for vegans/vegetarians. Also no juices or cold drinks considering it’s a humid area.
