Excelente hotel

Definitivamente lo volvería a elegir por la ubicación estratégica del hotel. Me ahorré mucho dinero porque no tenía que utilizar tantos taxis para moverme. Caminar por el área era una delicia, muchos cafés, restaurantes, tiendas, fiesta nocturna, etc. Una localidad interesantísima para andar caminando a todos lados. Otro Plus serían los desayunos, ingredientes frescos, sabrosos y bien presentados.

Todo estuvo realmente tal cual lo esperábamos! Solo agregaría un poco mas de luz en los baños y listo!

Lo staff è molto gentile. La colazione buona (ma un po' pesante per i gusti "italiani"). Posizione tattica a Parque Lleras, a due passi dalla famosa e turistica Provenza. Vista dal rooftop veramente eccezionale.

La camera è una trappola per topi. È molto bassa, l'unica entrata di aria "fresca" è una finestrella nel bagno (bagno con il cesso in uno sgabuzzino e la doccia in un altro sgabuzziono). Il condizionatore è posizionato a 1 metro e 70 dal suolo per cui sarete soggetti a getti potenti di aria fredda. La cassaforte ci si è rotta 3 volte durante il soggiorno di 6 notti. Le luci principali hanno smesso di funzionare dopo la seconda sera. Le offerte del rooftop non sono molto chiare e nei weekend al rooftop organizzano party privati per cui potrete accedervi solo a pagamento.

Apartamento é super grande e aconchegante, a localização é ótima, no coração do bairro mais agitado e perto de tudo.

It’s easy to reach, close to restaurants, groceries shops, gyms and discos/bars. The room is the same as described during the booking, it’s cozy, clean and fresh. Staff is really friendly, check-in and check-out is fast, and breakfast fast is delicious. I will definitely recommend and stay again once back to Medellin.

Lo unico que añadiria a las habitaciones es un espejo grande en el cuarto porque solo cuenta con el del baño.

The hotel seemed relatively new and the facilities were good. The room was big, with good aircon. The bed was huge and super comfy. There was free cold water available at reception which was a nice touch. The breakfast was really good. The location was good as it was close to a lot of the nice restaurants in El Poblado.

The soundproofing wasn’t great, for example when people were in the corridor the sound echoed into our room. We didn’t love the rooftop bar and ended up leaving to go somewhere else. However it might just have been that we caught it on a bad day. The hot water was unpredictable, so one morning we had to skip showering unless we wanted a cold shower.

Noise was pretty bad. We asked to be placed on the lower floors instead we were placed in the highest floor right above the rooftop. All the time you could hear the music and tables/chairs dragged from one place to other. Additional, we did check out and dropped our bags, right after wanted to take breakfast, but they said we couldn’t because we just did check out

The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to engage you in discussion. The breakfast was excellent - they discuss your preferences as you go in and the food is fresh and flavoursome. The neighbourhood is epic - what a city and what an experience. For those that haven't been, you are within 5 minutes' walk of endless bars, restaurants and plenty of partying. The view from the rooftop bar is excellent, too.

I have nothing to complain about.

El desayuno y el café malo. Puede mejorar. No había mucha limpieza en el área del desayuno. Las toallas de baño tienen que cambiarlas, tampoco dejaban las toallas completas para las personas hospedadas, dejaba basura en bolsas para que las botaran y no lo hacían.

Ya me había hospedado anteriormente en este lugar y siempre había tenido muy buenas experiencias, por eso decidí volver. En esta ocasión la estancia también fue buena, pero hubo un incidente que me dejó muy decepcionado. El día de mi salida hice el check-out y dejé mis maletas bajo resguardo del hotel mientras salía a almorzar. Al regresar, me di cuenta de que había olvidado mis audífonos de trabajo en la habitación. Los había dejado sobre el escritorio, donde trabajé todos los días durante mi estancia. Reporté la situación inmediatamente en recepción, pero me informaron que la habitación ya había sido limpiada y que no había ningún objeto reportado como encontrado. Según me indicaron, no había rastro de los audífonos y nadie sabía qué había pasado con ellos. Es una pena, porque era un lugar que realmente me gustaba y al que pensaba seguir regresando. Sin embargo, esta situación me dejó una sensación muy negativa. Más allá de la pérdida, me decepcionó la falta de una solución o de mayor interés en investigar lo ocurrido. Una gran decepción.

The only thing I truly liked about Somos was the location. The area was really good, with plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and rooftops nearby, which made it convenient and enjoyable to explore the city. Unfortunately, aside from the location, the overall experience did not meet my expectations. The service and accommodations were underwhelming, and I expected a much better experience for the price and reputation.

Unfortunately, aside from the location, the overall experience did not meet my expectations at all. The room was extremely dark, and there was no natural light to enjoy because there was construction directly outside my window. The construction noise was horrible throughout the stay and made it difficult to relax. On top of that, there was very little privacy, and the room was not practical since there were no power outlets near the bed. Another issue was that you had to contact the front desk for almost everything, which became frustrating. I also paid for breakfast, but there were only two options available, and neither was appealing or accommodating for dietary restrictions. At night, the hotel closes the entrance gate for safety reasons, but the employee responsible was rarely there, so we constantly had to wait outside to get in. Additionally, the food service at Mosquito closed at 8 PM during weekdays, leaving guests with no food options available on the property afterward. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay and expected a much better experience considering the price and reputation of the hotel.

Location was perfect, beds were super comfy and the staff was amazing. The daily breakfast the chef made was the best part, amazing food!! Bonus having a rooftop bar as well.

I did not like that next to our room at night they would move a bunch of chairs and make noise in the middle of the night. They seem to have been preparing for an event the next day but I feel like it could have waited until the morning instead of in the middle of the night while sleeping. Other than that, i will 100% book here again.

The rooftop bar played VERY LOUD dance music until 3:30am (at full blast until 2am, then lower volume but still loud enough to make it difficult to sleep) that was so loud in my room it prevented me sleeping abd was also annoyingly loud at Hotel El Zargo a 3 minute walk away when I switched to there. I got a very poor night's sleep.

The staff was incredibly helpful, there wasn’t a day we didn’t bother them at the reception or via WhatsApp and they went above and beyond to help us. Amazing team Location perfect for walking around, bar is great.

One night there was a heavy rain and we didn’t have hot water but other than that all amazing.

The breakfast was good although very small. The location was good too, close to the places you usually frequent.

The hotel wasnt clean, the floors were dirty when we arrived, there was a piece of USED gum stuck to the coffee table. Also the noise was too loud all night, not the outside noise but the noise inside the building, i guess the sound insulation isnt a good one since i could hear people walking, shutting doors and more at all hours of the night.

The location was great. Very close to Provenza, lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful.

In the entire hotel, there was no iron. They said that someone had stolen it. I think it could be pretty easy to buy a new one? Also, there is pretty poor lighting in the bathroom if you’re someone that needs to do make up. Being on the 10th floor we were right below the bar and it was very loud well into the morning on some nights. I think I would give their other location a try next time.

Rated a 8 but could be a 10. Nice staff, comfortable bed, location is near restaurants and bars and breakfast is very good.

Friday and Saturday they run a bar on rooftop, it's very very loud until 2 am. Too bad if you have a room nearby... watch out.

En la mañana a las 7am el personal de servicio entró a la habitación sin tocar la puerta mientras dormíamos. 3. Le asignaron nuestra habitación a otros huéspedes cuando ya teníamos todas nuestras pertenencias dentro. Las personas se devolvieron a que les asignaran otra habitación, esto pudo escalar. 4. El baño es muy pequeño e incómodo, al entrar a la ducha te mojas todo porque está en la mitad y el espacio es reducido. 5. Las habitaciones no tienen insonorización, un grupo de personas la primera noche estaba de fiesta en su habitación hasta las 6am y todo se escuchaba en nuestra habitación. 6. Hay un rooftop en el piso 10 y la probabilidad de que te toque una habitación en el piso 7-8-9 es grande y si esto pasa no vas a poder dormir por la música y las personas bailando en el rooftop. 7. Este punto es más para las chicas, no hay espejo de cuerpo completo y la iluminación es pésima para maquillarse No recomiendo este hotel, no volvería.

We had an incident involving my girlfriend whose shampoo disappeared after the room being cleaned. We tried to talk to the staff but they repeatedly said they didn’t know what had happened, they had only cleaned the bed sheets and towels. We were not very satisfied with this.

Stayed on the 2nd floor—rooms are large with modern rain showers, though some lobby noise was noticeable. Boutique-style hotel in the heart of El Poblado, close to restaurants and nightlife. Rooftop area is fantastic, and breakfast was limited but delicious. Excellent value for money! Loved the welcome drink! Def would stay again!

The room felt quite minimalist, and the only mirror was pushed back on a wall with no access to get closer, so it was difficult to do makeup or get ready in the room. There wasn’t another mirror in a better spot, which was inconvenient. Another thing to note is the layout: you must walk up a flight of stairs to reach the lobby before using the elevator, and there’s no elevator access down to the basement where breakfast is served, which made moving luggage a bit awkward. Poor sound insulation between from outside.

La falta de limpieza de las instalaciones, incluida la habitación, ya que había que solicitar que realizaran la limpieza y aun así no lo hacían, a tal punto que hasta nos tocó solicitar papel para el sanitario porque ni eso ponían. My stay at the Somos Beats hotel was pleasant they had some good breakfast and the staff were friendly. My room was not too impressive but comfortable enough to enjoy my stay.

Pros: Location & just the size of the room Cons: Absolutely everything else. Upon check in- there was no towels in the room, not even toilet roll. We had to go downstairs, ask for & bring everything up ourselves. House keeping make the beds and do literally nothing else. No vacuuming or mopping. Sheets w stains on them. The rooftop bar is tiny and drinks are overpriced. Breakfast is limited and not great. The Tribe hotel is up the road and a LOT better value for money, despite being the same price per night. No idea how this hotel has had such good reviews. So very disappointing!

The property was located in the perfect spot to enjoy El Poblado and also relax.

The location is great, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is good as well. Initially, I was placed on the 10th floor, where I quickly learned what “adults-only hotel” truly meant — the rooftop music was extremely loud and it felt like a disco in my room. I was unable to sleep until around 2 a.m. I was then moved to the 8th floor, where unfortunately the internet did not work. There was also an issue with the hotel water at first, which was later resolved. When I was checking out, my Uber was already waiting and I was told there was an additional charge of 10,000 COP. No explanation was provided for this charge. I don’t mind paying fees, but I would have appreciated knowing what the charge was for. Overall, my experience was mediocre. The only real saving grace was the friendly and helpful staff

The location of the hotel was excellent, very Central and accessible to the train station as well as restaurants. The front desk staff were also very accommodating , prompt in responding to your request ,and ready to help at all times with a smile. I think they do a great job in representing the company.

There were two major areas that were lacking. One being the room cleaning services. Rooms and bath area, were not properly cleaned nor mopped for the entire length of our stay which was over a week. We had to constantly request for replenishment items such as soap, towels, etc. The other area is the breakfast and some of kitchen staff. The daily breakfast had one option only. You could not request for any other modifications, and it seemed that we were not the only ones who felt this because during our stay, we saw a couple of other guests just walk away from their breakfast after seeing the options. It seems like the Chef's knowledge and willingness to help was very very limited and some of the staff that were assisting her were equally blunt and refused any other request. Simple items that you get worldwide for a breakfast such as pepper, salt, sugar, jam, were mostly not available. Other than these two areas the rest was quite good. I hope they take this into consideration because they could vastly improve the overall feedback from future clients.

Had the best time at Somos with my brother. Gabriela, Ashley and Sebastian were always on hand to ask any questions and ensure we have a safe trip exploring the city. Very thankful for their positivity and good spirits. Can’t wait to be back! PS breakfast is great! Bar upstairs is excellent! Overall a 10/10 experience.

The hotel is in a great location if you want to experience the liveliness of Provenza you’re just a short stroll away, the hotel is located in a much quieter street, breakfast is a varying dish each day, which were delicious, don’t skip breakfast! The rooms were spacious and while there is a rooftop and you do hear a little bit noise whether from outside or the rooftop it’s nothing that will prevent you from getting a good night’s rest (8th floor) . I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

I had such a great experience during my stay at somos beats rooftop hotel. Gabi was incredibly kind and attentive — she went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and comfortable from the moment I arrived. Every interaction was friendly and professional, and it really made a difference in my stay. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and I appreciated the small details that showed how much care goes into running this place. Whether it was at the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant, everyone treated me with genuine warmth and respect. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a relaxing experience. Gabi really made everything easy for me and she also gave good recommendations to places to go!

The hotel is really nice and the staff are excellent. Gabriela Maria greeted us and was so friendly, we were made very welcome. Would definitely stay again!
