We arrived for check-in. gate closed and no access,... eventually someone came to gate and informed us our booking was not possible???? Had to find alternative accommodation! After sending emails/ phone calls... had response/ email from (assume overseas owner???) with apologies/ excuses etc...

Sugath, the manager, could not have been more helpful. Even though I needed an early check out he provided breakfast on the balcony beforehand and then dropped me off in his tuktuk.

It's slightly off away from the main road and the beach so you need to get a tuktuk to get around, but that's not really too much of an issue.

Нам нравится вилла Eldezo.Останавливались на ней второй раз.Хороший бассейн, завтрак замечательный.Вокруг природа и тишина, хотя рядом школа .Управляющий Сугат очень внимательный и отзывчивый человек, возил нас к морю и за покупками.Территория небольшая, но все продумано до мелочей.Прожили несколько дней, уезжать не хотелось.Рекомендую!Мы обязательно приедем снова!

Modernt och fräscht boende, fantastisk service med omfattande frukostar som är riktigt bra. Det är ett litet hotell och stämningen är familjär men inte för det påträngande

Läget är drygt en kilometer från stranden, men det är inte trevligt att promenera då det är liten väg med relativt mkt trafik... Värden erbjuder tuk-tuk service och det är ganska nödvändigt för att ta sig till och från stranden eller restauranger

Absolutely everything, rooms very comfortable, aircon, hot water, wifi. A fabulous pool, breakfast magnificent. Mr Sugath was exceptional and his assistant. Nothing was too much trouble, reserving restaurants , pick up etc

Great location, comfortable and a brilliant manager who provided a personalised service to us.

We have just spent 19 nights here. Very clean, modern guest house with five rooms: three double rooms on the ground floor and a double room, and a large suite on the first floor. Our room was cleaned with linen change every three days, but you can request fresh towels etc.. as needed. Breakfasts are excellent and more than plentiful, mainly Sri Lankan fare, followed by toast and jam and loads of fresh fruit, and then local sweet dishes. Wow. And all served outside your room on the balcony or veranda. There is also a large communal kitchen and dining area with ample crockery and cutlery, where you can use the fridge, and prepare meals if you wish. There is filtered water on tap and sugar, milk, tea etc.. is provided if you want to make your own hot drinks during the day/ evening. The swimming pool and garden is kept spotlessly clean and never had an issue getting a sunbed/ umbrella even when full. The local neighbourhood is relatively quiet with local residences and a nearby primary school. There are plenty of interesting birds that can be seen in the trees from the garden The guest house is a fifteen minute walk to the park and beach, and similar to the nearby strip of restaurants along the train track. 5 to 10 minutes walk to the two nearby restaurants by the river. Massive thanks to Sugatha who manages the guest house, and also to Nanda who also works here. Sugatha is an absolute credit to this place with his hard work and personable approach . He provided us with Tuktuk rides throughout the day and evening to local amenities for a reasonable price.

This property was great, clean cool rooms, staff that were friendly and informative. Beautiful pool and all just a 15 min walk to a beautiful beach. Breakfast surpassed everything and is served to you on your porch/verandah. Use of a communal kitchen for fridge, kettle, freezer, and ever area to cook if you wish

This was amazing. Great Pool, lovely new clean accommodation. Staff were really friendly. What can I say about breakfast, so much great food we didn't need to eat until dinner time. Don't hesitate to book this private small villa.

- The apartments are beautiful, with lovely grounds and scenic views — so many tropical birds around! - Sugath was a warm, helpful host, and the whole team worked really hard to make the stay comfortable. - I also met the owner, who happened to be visiting from Germany — she was lovely too. - The big patio was a definite highlight. - The food was delicious and filling overall. I had mentioned I can’t eat spicy food, but instead of adjusting the curry or dhal, they just advised me to eat the milder dishes — a bit of a shame, as Sri Lankan food is still so flavourful even without the heat.

- One uncovered window lets in early morning light, which could be an issue for light sleepers. I had a similar case elsewhere and it was covered without a problem. - While the tuk-tuk service is convenient and fairly priced, it's not a free shuttle like some places offer. At peak times I was asked to walk instead — I did get stranded a couple of times, where other hotels might have helped source an alternative. - This was the only place I stayed in Sri Lanka without a minibar or fridge in the room (even smaller homestays had one). It’s not a huge issue, and the property manager was upfront about it. There is a large shared fridge, which helps. - Sugath kindly helped negotiate a cheaper rate for laundry, which I appreciated. However, one of my shirts came back stained, and my shoes had a strong mouldy smell — possibly from not being dried properly. - The boat safari was quite pricey at 8,500 LKR for two hours. 45 minutes of that was spent at a spice garden, where a “herbal doctor” pointed out supposed health issues and wanted to sell treatments. I was also given a “free” massage, then told to make a donation — not what I expected from a nature-focused trip.

The place is really clean, everything is new and has all the details! The place is also quiet, the staff is really friendly and helpful. It has a nice pool and yard. The breakfast is excellent and they put a lot of food!

Very nice clean new modern style rooms. Big swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. Wonderful breakfast.

We absolutely loved this place. Beautiful modern and top class, so much attention to detail, everything is high-end quality. Our room was ground level overlooking a gorgeous pool which we enjoyed. Our breakfast, which was magnificent, was served on our patio. Sugath the manager couldn't do enough for you, he's a credit to the owners. We will certainly return.

The room was very spacious. The owner was very nice and helpful. Our AC broke down but he fixed it within an hour. The breakfast had a great variety and was delicious.

The drive way up to the property is a bit bumpy.

What a lovely place to stay. Beautiful room, pool, staff and exceptionally huge breakfast, so much so we had it for dinner a couple of times! There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook. Filtered water, tea and coffee whenever you like. We stayed in the studio room which was huge on the first floor there is one other room on this floor with a kitchen area where we shared the fridge. There are five rooms in total so it’s very quiet. Takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach and restaurants all by the train track, we walked it daytimes and night time but you’ll need a torch! Sugarth the owner is delightful and very helpful he booked us a lovely early morning river/mangrove trip at a great price and picked us up beer when he went to the supermarket 😀This was the seventh hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and was definitely the best, so glad we stayed for five nights just wish I’d booked longer. Also bear in mind cash is king in Sri Lanka! If you book to stay here you won’t be disappointed.

The accommodation was incredibly clean and well maintained. The pool was beautiful as were the gardens. Huge bedroom with comfy bed and lovely shower with toiletries. The breakfast was the most amazing spread with so much food and variety, we saved some for later. There is a communal kitchen where you can make drinks, get drinking water, heat up food etc again all kept spotlessly clean. The staff are absolutely wonderful Mr Sugath is a fabulous manager, he offers you any help that you need and is always around the building. He tried to help when our car did not arrive at 5.15am! There are a couple of other staff who are also hardworking and polite. The beach is about a 20 minute walk. I cannot recommend this property enough especially if you are at the end of your stay and need a couple of days rest.

Local , helpful and very friendly host - had an excellent time together. Villa was in excellent state and we felt like home :) very calm, not directly on the beach but around only 12 mins walking or 3 mins with tuktuk THANKS AGAIN Sugath :)

Bedroom on ground floor was not very private as blinds did not provide full coverage and had to keep closed while you are in the room which made it dark

This was definitely our favourite place to stay out of the seven places that we stayed at in Sri Lanka! Mr Sugath was an absolutely amazing host and couldn't do enough for his guests. He recommended several things and booked them for us, he also ensured we got to and from the activities with ease. Each evening Mr Sugath booked a restaurant for us at our request, and he took us and picked us up for a small charge. The breakfasts are huge, you definitely don't go hungry! We often saved any leftovers for lunch, and it was great to be able to try different Sri Lankan foods from the four breakfasts that we had. Eldezo Relax Paradise is very modern and exceptionally clean. We loved our room and the pool was also brilliant! The shared kitchen is really useful, very handy to be able to make a hot drink when you fancy it, and having a fridge as well was a bonus. Mr Sugath really went above and beyond when he brought out a birthday cake (to our surprise) on the morning of my partner's birthday. It was something that was briefly mentioned in conversation regarding our plans, and he took note and got a cake for the day. Thank you so much for your kindness Mr Sugath! You are an incredible host and you are exceptionally good at your job. We would recommend to anyone to stay here, a wonderful place!

Best breakfast in sri lanka! In fact I would say it was my favourite meal out of my whole 2 week trip! Staff so friendly and a perfect peaceful place with lovely pool

I couldn't speak high enough about this hotel. Everything was perfect. The property is new and super clean, comfy beds and very modern building. In addition to your room and balcony area, you will have entrance to a large and very well equipped kitchen, with large refrigerator and everything you need to feel like at home. If you are a family with multiple rooms, as we were, then the breakfast will also be served there. Talking about breakfast- the hotel manager arranged a very delicious breakfast each morning and there were always papaya, watermelon, but every morning we could taste some new fruit and some new local dish, so this was beyond any expectation that I could have. I have not seen such a breakfast anywhere before, and this was all prepared just for our group of 4 people! There are 6 rooms at the hotel, and it is situated a bit outside the center, but we actually walked there from the city center some evenings, and it was a 15-20 minutes walk, also to the beach area. It was absolutely quiet place, surrounded mostly by local homes, so in the morning time you wake up to birds song. Pool is super clean, and as we were staying on ground floor, it really felt as if we had a private pool most of the time. The hotel manager was always there to help us with any question, he was always ready to take us to restaurant, beach, shopping, ayurveda treatments etc with the tuktuk and all this for a very reasonable price, almost for free I would say. He arranged river safari for a very good price, and was willing to help us with any other question. We stayed at 8 different hotels during our stay in Sri Lanka, but this hotel is the best, and it is probably the best place that I have ever stayed at. Looking forward to come back there one day!

The cleanest stay in SL and definitely the best breakfast. I have never seen anything like that, they were filling up two tables for us, every morning there was something interesting. The staff is always cleaning, keeping the place immaculate. The pool is great, we had it for ourselves pretty much. It’s good to have a pool in SL, as the ocean can be a bit rough for swimming. What else, rooms are large and bright, don’t really need insect nets, I’ve not seen many mosquitos around in March, when we were there. The owner was nice, helped us with the payment, so big thank you!

The property was spotless with large airy bedrooms, beautiful bathroom and plenty of space and storage. The staff were so accommodating that nothing was too much trouble yet the service was never insincere or intrusive. Lovely private setting and we had the pool pretty much to ourselves.

The location is about 1 km from the beach but the host can offer transport at a very reasonable price. The house itself is new and by far the cleanest place we have stayed in Sri Lanka.

we stayed in this amazing villa for the whole week and our stay was AMAZING! the room wasn’t just clean and tidy is was pristine! spacious room and very big bathroom with shower and bath with a big balcony and sun beds made our stay even more delightful. breakfast was included into price and we had different ones every morning. (you can also cook something for yourself if you like cuz there is big kitchen with literally EVERYTHING you need).the pool was always clean. the view from the roof top was breathtaking too. villa provides bikes as well if you wanna take a ride to the town main street. there is also some table games to kill your free time for a change. internet connection was very good. the neighbourhood is very quiet so you can enjoy your lovely stay even more. the men who was looking after the villa was extremely helpful with everything we needed. took us to the train station and helped us to sort train tickets. During few months spent in Sri Lanka this place was the best place we stayed in!!!
