Stayed at this guest house while attending a wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The location was central, everything was clean and well-kept, and the little touches like coffee and wine made it extra special. The host was friendly, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again!

Lovely room with a view into the valley and mountains. Lots of bird life and pretty Gardens and very quiet and secure. Friendly and thoughtful host. A free bottle of wine, rusks, water, tea and coffee all supplied. We enjoyed our stay there.

A Beautiful flatlet above the owner's garage, completely private and quiet. It has everything you would need for a couple days in Stanford. We took a walk along the lovely train within the estate, and would book again if we were in the area:)

The setting is peaceful, with beautiful mountain views, making it an ideal choice for a quiet retreat. Highly recommended for a straightforward, quality experience. Gilbert the host was very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely quiet estate and lovely Mountain View’s. Sleep quality is good. There is a very well equipped little kitchenette and shower is spacious and we had plenty of hot water. A very comfortable spot and nearby the town but out of the bustle. Hosts are generous with a welcome bottle of wine and coffee and tea.

Honestly there was very little not to like. Our only slight bugbear was that the room was a little light at night but we are used to a very dark room so maybe just our issue.

Perfect location quiet, private super comfortable . Fabulous recommendations from host about what to see do and where to eat. Complementary wine was great, and special books to look at.

It was very comfortable with many extra touches and little luxuries. We were there during a spell of heavy rain and were warm and cosy. The view from the room and balcony of the mountains near Stanford was exceptional. Burt was very welcoming and gave us good advice about restaurants. We hope to stay there again.

The room is spacious with a detailed personal touch .A relaxing location with stunning views , we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves Burt is an amazing host. We also loved the fact that town is a walking distance , the stay is close proximity to Stanford attractions .

It was self service but the kitchen was well equipped and the hosts provided extras like beer, wine and milk. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location in a spacious quiet safe haven outside Stanford was ideal with an easy commute to Hermanus and views of the mountains.

Quiet, secure, country setting

friendly and helpful host. lovely attention to detail and personal touches in the room and bathroom which had everything to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Very spacious accommodation and it was lovely to sit outside on the balcony in the evenings. great location and I felt safe staying there on my own.
