Villa Giulio - Guest House

Arrivati tardi all'hotel (attorno alle 2 di notte) siamo stati accolti da una sorridente e giovane ragazza che assieme alla madre gestisce questa guesthouse vista Nilo molto carina ed accogliente. Di buon mattino abbiamo deciso di visitare dapprima la Valle dei Re e di rientrare solo in seguito in hotel per la colazione. Colazione molto tipica, principalmente salata con piatti cucinati tipici della tradizione egiziana, preparata dalla padrona di casa dopo l'orario di colazione (per nostra richiesta, in tarda mattinata, alle 10.30/11). Camere carine con bel bagno dotato di vasca + doccino.

Le proprietarie ci avevano promesso un taxi che ci avrebbe dovuto accompagnare tutta la giornata per visitare le bellezze di Luxor. Il mattino però siamo dovute andare a svegliarle perché non si era presentato nessuno. Sicuramente la colpa è da imputare principalmente all'autista, però essendo loro il nostro tramite ci aspettavamo più attenzione o perlomeno che trovassero una soluzione al problema, invece abbiamo dovuto cercare noi un taxi sostitutivo (cosa non facile essendo un gruppo di 6 persone).

Stay with the family was amazing! They helped us a lot! Thank you Jamal for all your recommendations and driving us around anywhere we needed. Food was great, room was beautiful, garden amazing. We found a quiet place in Egypt which seemed to be impossible! But we did! Thank you 🫶

Die wunderschöne Villa Giulio befindet sich am Westufer des Nils. Ich hatte ein schönes, großes Zimmer mit Balkon. Die ruhige Lage der Villa Giulio macht den Aufenhalt noch angenehmer und erholsamer. Die gesamte Familie war stets sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Ich hatte einen tollen Empfang mit Begrüßungstee. Im schönen Garten kann man sich sehr gut entspannen. Das traditionelle ägyptische Frühstück war einfach köstlich und sehr schön serviert. Ich werde dort wieder kommen.

Everything! The location is peaceful, the room bright and spacious, bathroom is nice! The room is also equipped with a kettle and a fridge. The owners are super kind, breakfast was really good!

La familia es adorable y te brindan todo lo que necesitas. La hija mayor es un amor, super educada y divertida, estamos encantadas de habernos alojado allí, nos trataron genial, y se portaron realmente bien con nosotras

I was given a very warm welcome. The family is very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was very rich and original Egyptian. The room is nicely furnished and very spacious with balcony to the garden. Everything was sparkling clean. If you wish, you can eat lunch and dinner at any time in the house, on the balcony or in the garden. You can walk to the Valley of the Kings on foot. The sunrise from there is extremely worth seeing. The ferry is also easy to reach. To find the house you have to pay attention on the signboard at the road.

Everything was perfect forĺ me!

The family who took care of us, especially Rehab, was lovely to meet and spend time with. They really care about you and aim to please. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The terrace was amazing, especially when we could see some of the balloons in the morning. The area was quiet but within walking distance of the ferry, restaurants, and shops. This place is value for your money.

Perhaps a top sheet for the bed, but that's a very small thing.

Nagyon koszos hideg büdös volt 3 éjszaka volt foglalva egy éjszakát töltöttünk ott mert éjjel érkezett a gépünk és bár láttuk hogy borzalmas nem tudtunk máshova menni. Másnap kerestünk másik szállást.

Чудесное место, чтобы остановиться в Луксоре! Замечательная семья, прекрасный дом, очень уютная и красивая комната с террасой, очень чисто! Всем рекомендую. К тому же эта часть Луксора намного спокойнее, удобно добираться до Долины царей и других достопримечательностей этой стороны Луксора. Рядом с гостевым домом есть хорошее кафе (Wolf). Большое спасибо!

Very nice family. Beautiful room. This is perfect for a family that doesn't mind being a ten minute walk to shops and the ferry to the more active bank.

I didn't mind the location, But it is a little out of the way. Still, great value.

Magnifique chambre avec grand balcon, et belle salle de bain. Magnifique cour et jardin, très paisible dans la folie de Luxor. L’emplacement est vraiment parfait, tant pour les visites de la East Bank que la West Bank. La famille est très accueillante, le père vous offrira (peut être plus d’une fois!) ses services de taxi. Nous avons retenu ses services pour aller à Aswan.

Les déjeuners sont délicieux mais les portions sont petites (pour les gros appétits). Nous avons personnellement trouvé que le souper était cher pour ce que c’était, et avons préféré aller souper ailleurs.

Very humble and welcoming host and good rooms, neat and clean stay and very lovely breakfast.

Clean room, quiet at night, perfect for relaxing, very nice garden and balcony bathed in sunlight. Warm water also, which is not a given in Egypt. The staff, Rehab and her mum, were very responsive and helpful with whatever I asked.

it looks amazing just like photos. the house is clean and comfortable. due to our tour schedule we had to check out early. the host instruct us what to do to accommodate our schedule

the location on booking.com is inaccurate tho very close. because of the inaccurate location we got off Uber earlier and had to carry our luggage and walk for <= 100m. the road is not smooth. Luckily our luggages were not very heavy

We had a big Terrasse

It’s not clean at all. We saw a rat in the kitchen. Dust everywhere. Cold water in the bathroom doesn’t work. They give us a very poor dinner and it was as expensive as a good restaurant. The breakfast was not tasty and everyday the same

The family at the property is one of the best host I have seen very warm very welcoming and always ready to help and accommodate all requests. We had a great stay there for three days

Les hôtes, les repas et la proximité avec l’ensemble des sites touristiques nous ont permis de passer un très bon séjour à Louxor.

Chambre confortable à l’étage de la maison des hôtes avec une belle terrasse et une salle de bain privative. Famille chaleureuse et accueillante. La maîtresse de maison cuisine très bien, nous avons mangé sur place les 2 soirs. Petit + le père de famille est chauffeur de taxi, bien pratique pour faire la vallée des rois et autres temples.

- Safa et ses enfants sont géniaux, - la maison est superbe et très bien équipée, - le petit déjeuner est très bon, - une entrée spéciale "guest" très appréciable, - le calme.

房间还算干净，床和枕头都很舒服，装修有格调，异域风情。

员工服务有待提高，当天晚8点抵达，房主女儿接待，全程无笑脸，只给了顶楼房间钥匙，2楼房间没给钥匙，不主动告知热水在哪里打开，也不给客户提前打开，导致没有热水用，空调十分不给力，晚上热得无法入睡，第二天一早坐热气球没精神，一共入住三天，其中两天晚上停电，半夜热醒，顶楼空调十分不起作用，电压不稳定，出去必须把空调打开才能保持下午房间的一点凉爽，否则连枕头床铺都是烫的，屋主对此十分不满，让我们出门关空调，但也无可奈何，我们坚持开，老旧的空调，不稳定的电压，停水停电是常态，没有主动服务的理念，在埃及这个服务至上的国家实在是不入流。

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited our needs. We'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great hosts! Special mention about the Egyptian lunch that we took. It was yummy..!

Since this is on the western bank, getting a taxi might be a little difficult compared to the east bank, but not to worry, as the host will arrange for a taxi if needed

The family is such a beautiful people, they make you feel like home

We felt like we were members of their family! They cooked for us the most delicious egyptian meal! The room was great and the terrace as well! We were next to the balloons area and a lot of sightseeing! Everybody we met was kind and helpful! The kids in the neighborhood wanted to play football with us and our teenagers! We wish we could stay more!

Great location for visiting the main attractions on the West Bank of Luxor. Our room was upstairs with a private terrace and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, and one of the staff speaks English well and is always happy to help. It’s also close to a shop and restaurant. Everyone was very kind and welcoming.

Breakfast is good, comfortable beds and terrace to sit and relax. Homely and host family were great.

Shower pressure was weak. No bathroom mats and no curtains to contain the water from shower.

A very good experience. I arrived very tired, and they let me check in early. The whole family was very kind and lovely, all very willing to help, and caring that everything was okay. The room was very comfortable and had a great terrace. I totally recommend it.

It's a great place to stay. Very clean. The host is kind and welcoming.

The mother and her beautiful children were the most welcoming family! We only stayed for 3 nights and left feeling like family! Our children absolutely loved playing and socialising with their children, so warm and kind. It was my daughter's birthday whilst we were there and they organised a cake, balloons and a present for both of my children ❣️ we will never forget our experience with this family and will foever stay in touch 🙏🏻 The father and eldest daughter spoke really good English and the father was really helpful with organising days out. The food was lovely too 🙏🏻

We had stayed there 4 nights in King bedroom. It was the best place in our journey around all Egypt so far 🤩 We realy felt as at home. Very good and comfortable bed. A lot of space. Super nice balcony. Huge bathroom. Amazing ceiling as a dome. Very good family. Thank you!!

The property was clean and safaa was super helpful and kind.

But the location of the place is so far away from everything and it’s not in the city you have to take 2 transportations to reach the city. The breakfast was just ok.

The beds are super comfortable and the host is very friendly. They also serves food and their vegetable soup are great.

The service was great! You feel here like home, they help you and give you advice at any moment. Special thanks to Hala, which helped us a lot! We had been asking her about New Years entertainment, and she, during New Year's night, tried to navigate us and gave info about events

The location of the establishment is a little off. You should arrive with a taxi and will with a taxi. There isn't much to see around there.
