La Dolce Vita Gordon’s Bay

We loved this place so much that we came back again just four days later! We’ve stayed in around 300 hotels, and this is something we very rarely do. Everything here is absolutely perfect – from the wonderful host to the comfort, amenities, and impeccable cleanliness. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. 100/10! ♥️

It was phenomenal, clean, spotless ,a very very extremely extraordinarily clean place The host ,the owner Garreth he was as welcoming as the house We do guest house hopping all over Cptwn and SA its the very first time out of many many of you hotels and guesthouses where we found such a spotless environment and friendly host. Thankyou once again our stay was to short love you and your wife and house to the extreme for presenting this most extraordinarily clean place. All guesthouses should take points from you You should give training to Hotels and guesthouses on how to run a neat perfect clean place You have style and you a perfectionist. Go well C Moos

I would like to thank Gareth and his wife for making our stay at their guest house a memorable one. We were well informed about the shops, restaurants getting around as my husband ran the 50km False Bay race UT was our first time in Gordons Bay. It was so easy to check in and check out at the guesthouse. The place was so comfortable and relaxing we had a great stay at the guesthouse. Everything was within walking distance and safe in the area. We will definitely come back again. My husband also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine. The host was very friendly and allowed us to stay until 3pm as our transport was only able to fetch us at 3pm and they had no new guests checking in.

I loved the serenity that was provided. The comfort of having to relax in any part of the room. The Nespresso machine was loved by my wife. It was a lovely stay and I recommend it to anyone. The bathroom was spacious and my wife enjoyed the piping hot shower. The owner was kind and welcoming.

We liked absolutely everything about this place👌. Whatever we needed, it was there. We stayed for a week and not even once did we had to ask for something, as the owners thought of everything one would need. The porch was lovely, the bed was comfy and spotless clean, as well as bathroom. ❤️Just adore the place. Will definitely be heading back pretty soon.

All the small gestures. The coffee that was left with some milk. The place was completely clean. The hosts left everything in place that you wouldn't think of like beach towels and umbrellas. Really thoughtful

The bugs in the evening if you're really scared of bugs but it's not a big issue

Beautiful decor and finishes, garden was tranquility, Gareth the host was super accommodating and friendly, will definitely be back if we are in that area again.

The luxury of the accomodation, the coffee machine and pods, the fountain outside, the lights that go on when there is movement, the mineral water, wine, chocolates, and milk in fridge was very sweet, also felt safe

The place is stunning, and had everything we needed. The location is perfectly close to the beach and amenities and the hosts were super welcoming and friendly. It's definitely now our go to place when in Gordon's Bay.

This property is situated at a beautiful, peaceful location. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The bathroom is a 10/10. The bedroom has 2 outlets on either side of the bed as well as lamps which were both so convenient. The kitchen was easy to use and clean, there isn’t a stove but I brought my one plate gas stove and it really helped out. The patio/garden area was neat, fresh and so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place to family/friends. I felt safe at all times and would definitely visit again!

Appreciated the 500mbps symmetrical broadband access with a physical ethernet connection, it allowed for some heavy lifting to be done online. It was refreshing to find heathy plants compared to the usual artificial features one usually finds in short term rentals, which was complimented with a beautiful private garden.

The lack of plugs on both sides of the bed for charging phones overnight

Hosts was great, very welcoming. The private unit exceeded our expectations very comfortable and well designed, neat and clean. We were blessed with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the patio with a glass of wine. Location perfect, close to shops and the beach. Really considering going there again.

The unit was beautifully designed and furnished with all the necessary amenities. Bed was super-comfortable and the fur blanket was perfect for the colder weather. Definitely going to return when I next visit the area and highly recommend it. The host was very hospitable and accommodating.

Not much, if the parking was enclosed and the unit had aircon it would just add the extra mile. Overall, faultless place.
