Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Ohh everything about this place from communication with the host before arrival, ease of access,to the spacious place ... me and my spouse have been booking villas on this island but this one , has exceed our expectations for that value ... we have paid more in the past for less than what this villa offered I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone My spouse usually doesn't like to compliment but upon arrival he couldn't stop complimenting the place and how well equipped it was for a self catering unit compared to other villas on the island that are quite expensive. And btw it's the first time I leave a review on a location because it genuinely deserved the rating.

Reviewed Nov 18, 2025La Villa de Grand Baie is a wonderful place to stay in Mauritius — clean, comfortable, and hosted with genuine warmth. It’s very new and the house is quite big. We stayed in the biggest room with an ensuite but all the rooms have a good size. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances. The house has a security system that is easy to use, giving us a peace of mind at nighttime. The host is friendly, approachable, and easy to deal with, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs. the villa offers a good balance of tranquility and accessibility. It’s close enough to reach shops, restaurants, and beaches, yet tucked away from the busiest parts of town.
Nothing. The only thing to say is that you’ll definitely need a car to move around.
