⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Ramblers Rest B&B. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room and bathroom were very spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a perfect start to the day. A lovely place to stay with a fantastic host — we would definitely recommend it and hope to return!

The B&B is placed on fantastic spot between Doolin and Cliffs of Moher with wonderful ocean view. The host is a charming lady, that does the best Irish breakfast and in case you will be hit by the Irish rainy weather, she will start the fireside so you can get dry in cosy chairs.

Home away from home. Beautiful place to stay. Stayed here with my two daughters ages 7 and 11 and our cockerspanial Ruby. Fabulous welcome with fresh tea and scones on arrival. Very comfortable room and beds with beautiful views of the Aran Islands. Great place to stay to see the area. We went into Doolin to see the sun setting on the pier and it was stunning. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. I would 100% recommend this beautiful B&B.

Bernatette's place was the perfect way to begin our tour of the southern portions of Ireland! Our two night stay provided us time to explore the beauty of Doolin, Cliffs of Moher, Black Head and the stunning landscapes in between. She had warm scones and hot tea to welcome us after we 'moved in'. Made to order Irish Breakfast was VERY good! She was extremely knowledgeable about the area. The views towards the coastline were stunning. We would absolutely book here again!

The shower was a bit tight and shower pan could be slippery, but it worked fine and was great to have private shower in our room.

Nagyon hálásak vagyunk azért, hogy kimosta a ruháinkat, finom házi készítésű ételekkel vendégelt meg minket, és az első pillanattól kezdve otthon érezhettük magunkat. Minden egyes nap azt éreztük, hogy őszintén törődik velünk, és a kedvessége igazán különlegessé tette az itt töltött időt.

The main attraction for us was meeting and getting to know the owner, Bernie. She's an incredible woman with an amazing story and a superb host! She spoiled us, truly. From welcoming us with warm scones and tea when we arrived to delicious Irish style breakfasts each morning, Bernie made us feel at home. She was so welcoming and warm, and full of great tips for our stay in the area too. The B&B is close enough to the Cliffs of Moher that you can walk there (using the "secret" way shared with us by Bernie, you avoid the tour buses and groups and get an amazing view of the Cliffs too!) From the Cliffs you can follow the Wild Atlantic Way into Doolin for something to eat, a beer and great music every evening (and Bernie will even pick you up afterwards if you ask her nicely)

Btought our dog 1st time ever.. cleanliness unbelievable. Central and recommended a pub to have food and music that we could bring the dog. Food was excellent. Definitely worth a visit. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us

Rambler's Rest is in a beautiful location looking out over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran islands. It is comfortable and cosy, and Bernadette is a wonderful host making us feel very much at home. She went out of her way to make our stay very special. The breakfasts were lovely too! Highly recommend Ramblers Rest B & B.

The view - if you have a room with it - is okay. But there is the street still in front. Staff : Friendly !

It‘s old ! And much to expensive for that. Refurbished is okay - but you cannot do that with chairs, cupboards and all that with just a bit of color, which looks like done by children 20 years ago.

The view over the cliffs and of the ocean was amazing. Our host was wonderful and sweet and very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious.

The beds were a little hard and the shower was very small bit is to be expected in a bed and breakfast of this size.

Unbelievably quaint and comfortable. Bernie did a fantastic job at not only making us feel welcome, but like we were in a home, not just a place to stay. We got a view that looked over the water, and we spent about a half of our day in our room, just marveling at the view. Truly, one of our favorite parts of our Ireland trip was our stay here.

Perfect location for viewing the Cliffs and catching a ferry boat ride in Doolin. Host is very friendly and accommodating. Offered to drop us off at one end of Cliff Walk and pick us up at another so we could do a cliff walk. We had a lovely ocean side room, nice and bright. Heated pad on the bed - what a nice treat. And the dining area had a wood fire going both mornings in May during our stay, so cozy and inviting! Typical Irish breakfast set us up with a great start to the day. Aside from the wind, very quiet at night. Highly recommend!

Bernadete é realmente muito especial! Faz tudo para “cuidar” dos hóspedes! Até oferece carona para a cidade! O café da manhã incrível e o quarto muito espaçoso e confortável.

O box/chuveiro do quarto que fica os é muito pequeno, desconfortável (com cortina). E fica longe da cidade (tem que ir de carro ou caminhar bastante).

Bernadette made us very welcome, with a pot of tea and scones upon arrival. Room had a wonderful coastal view and had all the usual tea and coffee facilities. Beautiful Irish cooked breakfast and choice of cereals for breakfast. Bernadette also laid on breakfast for guests from other local holiday accommodations.

This property was nicely located a short drive to Doolin and the ferries to the Aran Islands, as well to the Cliffs of Moher. Our hostess, Bernadette, was charming and attentive. She saw to all our needs. Breakfast was ample a very well prepared. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The sitting area offered a spectacular view of the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean. Ample parking was available right in front of the property

The proximity to the road required the windows to be closed, but when closed the room was incredibly quiet and we had a very restful sleep.

The location and our host was absolutely wonderful. We were able to walk to the cliffs right from the B&B. From the cliffs center we took a bus in to doolin, and on the way back by bus we asked if they would drop us off by the B&B which they did. Breakfast was great and the scones were superb and our host was so accomodating.

Our host Bernadette was kind and sweet and funny and she went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Its a great location across the street from the ocean most rooms have ocean views. About a half a mile from the Cliffs of Moher. We would absolutely 💯 recommend her to anyone looking to stay near the Cliffs!!!!

The host is so, so nice! There was fresh breakfast before we started our day each day. Even when we woke up at 1p because my daughter couldn't adjust to the time zone difference. The views were breath taking and it's only 5-20 minutes to everything! The beach, shopping, and animal farms and the Cliffs of Moher. Would highly recommend a stay for a safe and relaxing stay!

The entire experience - it wasn't just somewhere to sleep! The warmest, authentic easy welcome on arrival, the attentiveness of the host, the offers of tea coffee scones. The no frills relaxed vibe, the earthy flagstones Nd wooden rafters, in a premises with a stunning vista and wonderland westerly light. What Bernadette offers is Old School Irish hospitality - at its best. Staying two nights we got to chat with Bernadette about sorts - and leave having made a new connection. The house has been offering hospitality for many years now so it's an older build and a lively cosy place to come home to and relax in.

Nothing was unexpected as have stayed in many B/B, over the years basic but with every kindness.

Lage top mit Blick auf den Atlantik. Die Cliffs of Moher nur etwa 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und Port Doolin mit Boot zu den Aran Islands in 10 Minuten. Auch die nächsten Ortschaften mit guten Pubs innerhalb dieser Reichweite. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Obergeschoß mit Blick auf den Atlantik und die freundliche Hausherrin gab uns noch einen Raum für Koffer und Garderobe dazu, damit wir ausreichend Platz hatten. Frühstück ausgiebig irisch und flexibel, weil auch vor 08.00 möglich. Unsere Hausherrin hat uns auch immer über Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen, Pubs und sonstige Ausflüge informiert.

Die Fenster waren undicht und haben gezogen und die Handtücher haben etwas muffig gerochen (bei dem Wetter wird die Wäsche wohl schwer trocken)

Le B&B était parfait mais la grotte de doolin à 18€ pour voir une stalactite est à éviter (en comparaison aux grotte de de Lozère en France). Quand aux falaises... 30€ pour 1h de bateau dont 45 minutes de liaison... bof. Je passe sur le chemin des falaises désormais interdit sur une grande partie.

L'host è stata molto gentile sin dall'inizio. Si è resa molto disponibile per qualunque cosa avessimo bisogno e si è anche proposta di accompgnarci alle scogliere. Il primo giorno si è anche svegliata all'alba per prepararci la colazione, molto abbondante. Abbiamp anche provato la sua irish breakfast veramente ottima. Sia gli spazi comuni che quelli privati sono molto curati

L'unica lieve pecca sono i muri sottili. Avendo avuto la stanza sopra il salotto comune, la sera si sentiva un vocio di sottofondo.

Todo en general, habitación cómoda y muy bonita y la anfitriona inmejorable, super atenta, amable y agradable. Nos llevamos muy buen recuerdo, para nosotros el mejor de nuestro viaje en Irlanda.

Se necesita coche para llegar al pueblo porque se encuentra a unos 3 km pero sin embargo, a los acantilados se puede ir andando.

Il nostro soggiorno di due notti è stato allietato dalla presenza della Signora Bernadette, una padrona di casa eccezionale. Attenta alle nostre esigenze, con una camera con vista sulle Aran, ci ha preparato una super colazione, mettendoci a disposizione del bere e una sala relax con una vista mozzafiato. Ci ha fatto un immenso piacere conoscerla.

Die Gastfreundschaft, Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieterin hat uns sehr gefallen. Die unmittelbare Nähe zu den Klippen von Moher war sehr von Vorteil für Wanderungen in der Gegend. Es gab ein sehr gutes frisch zubereitetes Frühstück. Der Frühstücksraum diente auch als gemütlicher Aufenthaltsraum für die Abendstunden mit Blick über die Klippen in gemütlichen Sesseln, mit Gratisgetränken und Kamin. Danke noch mal an die tolle Gastgeberin.

Herzliche liebe Gastgeberin, bei der man sich sehr willkommen fühlt, hätte uns sogar zu den Cliffs oder nach Doolin gefahren. Wir sind die ca. 2 km zu Fuß zu den Klippen an der Strasse entlang (leider gibt es keinen Gehweg). Doolin ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen, am Doolin Pier sind die Seaweed Bath und der Burren. Also tolle Lage!! Parkplatz ausreichend vorhanden vor dem Haus, gutes Frühstück.

The view and the sunset from the dining room are amazing! Perfect location: the cliffs of moher could be easily reached on foot but unfortunately all the trails are closed.

Incredible view. Terrific location, not far from Doolin town and not far from Cliffs of Moher Visitor Center. Lots of great books about Ireland in the nice sitting area. Great parking.

L'accoglienza straordinariamente familiare. La padrona di casa è una persona merae generosa che ti fa sentire a casa e cerca di aiutare in ogni modo. Inoltre rientrando la prima sera abbiamo avuto la sorpresa di trovare la camera rifatta col cambio asciugamani. E la merenda sempre disponibile. Anche il nostro piccolo si è sentito a casa. Il fuoco acceso la mattina che dovevamo partire presto ha riscaldato ancora di più l'atmosfera. Soggiorno delizioso.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich super und wir wurden von der Gastgeberin sehr herzlich willkommen gehießen. Man merkt wirklich, dass es der Gastgeberin sehr viel Spaß macht, den Aufenthalt bei ihr zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis zu machen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt außerdem sehr schön und man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer (wenn das Wetter mitspielt). Die Betten sind super. Ich glaube es ist schwierig unsere Begeisterung in Wort zu fassen, um es für einen Leser nachvollziehbar zu machen. Wir sagen in jedem Fall nochmal ganz herzlich Dankeschön für alles.

Bernadette die Besitzerin war unglaublich freundlich und zu vorkommend. Sie war sofort zur Stelle wenn man einen Frage hatte oder eine Empfehlung brauchte. Die Aussicht von unserem Zimmer war einfach nur traumhaft und auch das Frühstück liess nicht zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt!

Die Unterkunft liegt außerhalb des Ortsgebietes an einem schnurgerade Stück der Küstenstraße. Das heißt, die Autos rauschen mit 100 km/h 20 m vom Schlafzimmer Fenster entfernt vorbei. In der Nacht gibt es allerdings kaum Verkehr.

Tolle Aussicht vom Bett aus, sehr gutes Frühstück, Bernadette ist sehr nett. Haben bei Ankunft Scones und Tee bekommen.

Mobiliar ist in die Jahre gekommen. Etwas eng und hellhörig.
