Blue Ocean Guest Suites

The view you can’t beat, the ocean right at your feet. The hosts makes the sweet treats for you and lovely selection of breakfast food. Orla went out of her way to dry our soaking clothes from hiking in rain. Walk down to cliffs of Moher from there part of the trail by sea and cliffs , the big ones by visitor center which we walked to then got on free shuttle back!

It’s a bit out of town but we like to walk and see the cows and horses along the way!

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Wunderschöner Blick aufs Meer. Sehr ruhig gelegen, trotzdem in der Nähe des Ortes mit Pubs und Restaurants. Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Auch, wenn der Raum nicht groß war, war der Platz optimal genutzt.

Orla was the best host. The food she cooked was amazing (we are waiting for the cook book!!). The view was absolutely sublime, overlooking the Atlantic towards the Isles of Arran.

Das Haus liegt ruhig auf dem Land und wir hatten direkten Blick aufs Meer vom Zimmer aus. Herrlich! Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sauber und die freundliche Vermieterin hat sich fürs Frühstück, welches im Zimmer bereitgestellt wird, immer etwas Abwechslungsreiches einfallen lassen. Ganz in Nähe liegt das idyllische kleine Örtchen Doolin, von wo aus man zu Bootsausflügen starten kann (Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands).

Von hier aus kann man eigentlich direkt auf den Wanderweg zu den Cliffs of Moher gehen. Da aber Abschnitte gesperrt sind, mussten wir dann doch das Auto nehmen, um das Visitors Center zu erreichen. Das liegt aber nicht in der Verantwortung der Vermieter! Man sollte es einfach nur wissen, wenn man bucht.

No AC but we were there during a historic heatwave

Wir haben wirklich schon viele sehr gute Unterkünfte erleben dürfen, aber diese sticht nochmal deutlich positiv heraus. Die einmalige Lage, der unglaubliche Ausblick aus dem Zimmer, die Sauberkeit, die selbstgemachten Köstlichkeiten zum Frühstück und vor allem die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber sind unschlagbar.

The view was wonderful. Orla, our host, was welcoming and helpful, providing us with great tips for local food and activities. The room was well outfitted with anything you would need, including delicious homemade food items.

Das Frühstück war liebevoll vorbereitet im Kühlschrank und wir haben es bei dem herrlichen Ausblick auf das Meer richtig genossen. Alles war reichlich vorhanden. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft war sehr liebevoll mit Bezug zum Meer und alles war sehr sauber. Wunderbar war auch den Sonnenuntergang über den Araninseln vom Bett aus zu genießen.

Orla was fantastic! She oriented us to the room despite us arriving late. The view was phenomenal as was the breakfast, the location, the room style, and the recommendations for things to do! I had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic views especially for sunsets. Beautifully decorated room with lovely seaside decor. Also loved the personal effort put in such as the great tasting homemade flapjack, granola and bread etc. Didn't get round to the scones!

This was by far our favorite rental between hotels/Airbnb/Bed and breakfasts throughout Ireland of our 2 wee trip. The hotss were amazing, their friendly pooch was a great reminder of ours back home and made us feel like we were home for a second! Would recommend to everyone and will be back!

Orla puts in such an amazing effort to provide a unique and thoughtful stay. It was so clean, there were homemade treats and the continental breakfast was so good. Incredible views from the window. We were also treated to an overnight coastal storm. We felt very lucky.

We had a wonderful experience! The hostess is very kind and attentive, the breakfast is absolutely perfect with many things made by herself. The view from the room and the location, just a 5-minute drive from the Cliffs, makes everything even more perfect!

Our stay at Blue Ocean Guest Suites was absolutely perfect — we only wish we had booked ourselves in for two nights instead of one! From the moment we arrived, Orla’s hospitality and service were unmatched — truly the best we experienced throughout our travels. We stayed at several 5-star hotels during our trip, yet our time at Blue Ocean Guest Suites was by far the most relaxing and comfortable. The attention to detail, the cozy atmosphere, and the warm personal touches made it feel like home. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh, homemade baked goods that were simply amazing — we’re still thinking about them! We highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area. If you can, stay for two nights to really soak it all in. But if you can only manage one night, arrive as early as possible to make the most of your stay — you won’t regret it!

Perfect location and care. Greeted even despite late arrival but all was prepared so well and instructions were so clear we wouldn’t have needed to be greeted. Host went over and above expectations in offering helpful tips for our run along the trails. Breakfast was unbelievably good and so many pre-prepared options. It was all there for when we woke up to serve and eat as we wanted.

First off the property is adorable with comfy sea views from your bed. The apartment has everything you could ever dream of. Fully stocked with hygiene products and homemade goodies. I would give this place infinity stars if I could because of the kindness Ora showed me. I got sick on our trip and she was so kind to let me stay longer until we could check into our next destination. She even offered to help me see a doctor. She’s my hero!

Everything! What’s not to like -comfortable bed and room with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean near the Cliffs of Moher. I don’t give many 10’s but Orla and her place rate it. She makes your stay perfect with the breakfast treats and many other things. Thanks, would love to return.

Host and hostess were warm and welcoming. The suite was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had an outstanding view of the ocean.

The room was so clean and well decorated, a lot of attention to detail! You can tell they put a lot of effort into making you feel at home. The homemade breakfast treats were exceptional and the perfect way to start our day! The views were outstanding, would definitely stay here again!

Our time at Blue Ocean suite remains one of our most favourite memories of Irish summer. We were glad to enjoy sunset country walks, outings to Doolin and the Burren, the Cliffs coastal trail and ferry to the Aran Islands, plus waking up and sleeping to the ocean outside our window was simply a treat! Orla is a rare gem, a star host who rises above expectations to ensure her guests have a comfortable and memorable stay, from room decor and amenities that exude relaxing, renewal vibes to her unbeatable breakfast provisions and kind generosity. We always looked forward to her delish home bakes, especially flapjacks and muffins! Thanks for your recipes - we will bake them every time we wish we are back!

Absolutely amazing room, Orla thought of everything. We loved all the little touches, the fresh smelling linen, the lovely shower and all the goodies to eat. We were unlucky with the weather so we spent quite a lot of time in our room, and were so glad it was so comfortable.

We had the 2nd floor room complete with an amazing ocean view. It's a short drive into Doolin and the pubs and reteraunts, as well as the start of the Cliffs of Moher walking trail. There was homemade breakfast foods left in the little kitchenette each day (which were all delicious). There is a private entrance and plenty of parking. It's a great spot.

Amazing view over the Atlantic over to the Aran Islands which was the reason we booked this property. Perfect location for our plans. Room was thoughtfully stocked with spare toiletries. Breakfast/snacks were provided and the homemade flapjack in particular was amazing.

Our room was unfortunately located just above the laundry room and as a result we were woken up at 4.20am on the first night of our stay by the sound of a washing machine on full spin. By the time we had fallen back to sleep, we then slept in late and missed our opportunity to sample the breakfast provided as we had plans for the day. However, we immediately informed the host by via the message facility which led to her accosting us on our return to our room. Instead of acknowledging our experience she was extremely defensive and accused us of lying. When dealing with a complaint, the host needs to be more accepting of her guests experiences.

Orla was truly wonderful! She answered all our questions and was very attentive. The accommodations far exceeded our expectations. Homemade treats, cozy bed, and an amazing view! It was a slice of heaven. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay near the cliffs.

Loved the very scenic Atlantic view especially at sunset and greeted by 4 cows checking us out from the rock wall in the morning!!! Our host/hostess provided excellent (mostly homemade) continental breakfast with all possible condiments.. (So good) They answered every question and provided great tips for site seeing. Lastly, they helped us with arranging a taxi so I did not have to worry about having a pint or two at night listening to a Irish musical session. Just a warm and wonderful place.

Excellent location. Our room had a direct view on the ocean, even from the bed. Breakfast was taken in the room. There was a huge variety of cereals, fruit and homemade bread and cookies. Too many to eat it all at once. The room was clean and in perfect shape. And finally, the host Orla provided excellent information about the restaurants and tourist attractions in the neighbourhood. For the hikers: the cliffs of Moher trail is nearby (but some restoration work after the winter storm is ongoing).

Out of this world! The host had thought of everything to ensure the stay was extremely comfortable. Little touches and attention to detail makes this BnB exceptional! The homemade flapjacks and bread were to die for. Everything was pristine and nothing was too much trouble. The host even changed the duvet as I am allergic to feathers. The view of the sea and Atlantic Ocean was awesome! We were so sad to leave. Thanks so much for a special stay xx

One of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. The accommodations were spotless and the supplied breakfast fabulous. If you are staying anywhere near Doolin you MUST stay here. Owners could not have been more accommodating. We will definitely be back!

The room was perfect! We loved the comforting feel of all of the decor in the room. The room and bathroom were very clean, the host was extremely friendly and met us when we arrived. The breakfast was also amazing, with homemade granola and breads, pancakes, fruit and fresh juice. The room was very quiet and perfect for a good rest. The best part was the beautiful ocean view right outside the window! Highly recommend !
