Super nice hosts, very friendly and helpful! :) Felt like home. The room was small but was cleaned everyday very throughtly. The location was good too, in a quiet side of Medina; could walk everywhere, even to Gueliz.

To start, this was my first time traveling solo outside of the US and staying alone in a hotel/Riad, so I was very skeptical and afraid of possible unsafe situations. However, my worries were set to rest very quickly when I got to the Riad. The room was small but beautiful. The cleaning staff were on top of it. I would always come back to a very clean room (sometimes a bit too clean haha). My room had a little window to the outside which was very cute and romantic. The bathroom was huge and the water was great. I personally felt like I had a lot of space. I felt very safe with the staff. They made sure all my questions were answered and even offered for me to call them if I ever got into trouble with tour guides and whatnot while I was outside. The rooftop was very nice and cozy as well. Also, compared to the other Riad I stayed at, Riad Dar La Rose was a lot easeir to access and was pretty close to the main street which was really nice. Overall, a great experience. The place looks just like the pictures but the experience in general exceeded my expectations.

En conjunto, todo. Estuvimos alojados 5 días y no tuvimos ningún problema. Muy bien situado en una esquina de la Medina donde pueden aparcar cerca los taxis. A unos pasos del formidable Museo de las confluencias. Por si algún europeo cree que la ciudad puede ser peligrosa, la zona cuenta con guardia de seguridad. Los desayunos frescos y abundantes. Pero, especialmente, el personal, atento, simpático y eficaz.

Por poner algún pero, debería tener puntos de luz en las mesitas de noche para leer con comodidad.

Très bon emplacement à quelques pas de l'entrée des souks tout est faisable à pied même se rendre au jardin Majorelle. Le personnel est très sympathique et vous met à l'aise. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. J'ai bénéficié du chauffeur venu me chercher à l'aéroport et on m'a proposé un hammam dans un riad voisin

Buona la posizione, specie se hai una serie di escursioni da fare in quanto il pick up è a 3 min a piedi. Pulizia buona Staff vissuto molto poco perché abbiamo scoperto che il road ha 2 case e noi stavamo nella seconda

La nostra camera affacciava su un Vicoletto con sotto la moschea, quindi tutte le mattina sveglia alle 5 per la loro preghiera. Andrebbe segnalato. Inoltre: ragazzini h24 che giocavano a pallone sotto la camera da letto. Non siamo riusciti a riposare bene

Ein wirklich sehr schönes Riad inmitten Marrakech. Total praktisch gelegen, um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß anzusteuern. Die Straße hat auch einen sehr sicheren Eindruck auf uns gemacht. Super schönes Zimmer, sehr sauber, total freundliches Personal. Unweit entfernt, ca 5-10 Gehminuten, gibt es einen überwachten Parkplatz. Wir würden wieder hier her kommen!

The staff sold me a trip to the desert in which i ended paying 120 euros more.

I ragazzi che gestiscono questo riad sono gentilissimi e molto disponibili. Ci hanno accolto con tè alla menta al nostro arrivo e sempre con un sorriso ogni volta che tornavamo all'albergo. Abbiamo alloggiato in due stanze doppie (molto pulite) che davano direttamente sul cortile interno dove si poteva fare un'ottima colazione. La posizione del riad è ottima: in pieno centro, ma in una stradina laterale, il che rendeva il riad un'oasi di pace e tranquillità: la mattina ci svegliamo con il canto degli uccellini! Riad consigliatissimo per chi viaggia in famiglia.

Chambre très humide. Draps humides, serviettes humides. Nous faisions sécher nos serviettes sur le rooftop. Pas d'ouverture sur l'extérieur pour appel d'air si ce n'est, laisser la porte ouverte !

Breakfast was very good. Location of the Riad is inside the Medina. Felt safe even later at night. Lots of shops on both side of the street leading to the turn-off lane to the Riad. Shopkeepers are friendly to show the direction to the Riad.

Wasn't given the correct room, a Junior Suite that has a bidet, on the first night. The bathroom wall and floor was untiled, it looked unfinished. The description in the booking details stated a bidet, however none in this room. Requested and eventually given the correct room type, one with a bidet, as described, for the following two nights. Overall, had a good time, the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Our messages via Booking.Com website were promptly replied to - and this helped us make decisions regarding our time / activities in Marrakesh. Thank you again to Jamal, Hashim and Yunos.

The staff was really friendly and helpful!

From the very beginning the hosts were very nice and hospitable. When we arrived they invited us for a cup of tea and sweets and showed us the main spots on a map plus some advice on currency exchanges. The room was cleaned and placed in order every single day. The picture which I've attached is from our last day and we'll, the room looked as if we just moved in every single day. It was super clean and fresh. The common areas were also quite well maintained and there was always a really nice smell. The breakfast was sufficient enough, I would even say it was big. Some people complained that it was mundane, but for me it was diverse enough that I didn't mind. We had eggs, bread, butter, honey, apricot jam, tea, coffee, pancake, orange juice every morning.

The only uncomfortable thing was how loud the prayer was. The one at 5am was bothering us the most. On the 3rd day I realized we were right next to a mosque and this explained everything.

Great place! Wonderful location, really responsive and polite staff, very comfortable at night for resting. The fact that it was off a nice quiet street really makes a difference after being in the busy medina all day.

L’accueil est parfait, l’équipe aux petits soins. Jamal est très agréable. L’emplacement est idéal. La literie est confortable, les petits déjeuners complets et variés (bon jus d’orange, thé à la menthe, miel, pain grillé…). La terrasse est appréciable.

Peut-être le manque de fenêtre (aération naturelle. Mais il y a une ventilation. L’eau chaude met beaucoup de temps à arriver.

Winding stairs with no handrails!. The facilities are pretty basic, but well looked after. Recommend for a few nights, but not a full week as Marrakech very busy. If you break it up by going to the desert would make for a better overall experience.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent, very close to the main attractions, which made exploring the area very convenient.

However, the cleanliness, maintenance, and breakfast quality could be improved, especially in the details. The rug in our room was dusty, and the mosaic table had black dirt left in the gaps. The tap at the sink was loose and only provided cold water, which was inconvenient. We also had to ask for a hairdryer, which we expected to be available in the room. The breakfast was disappointing. We were looking forward to real Moroccan coffee, but it had almost no coffee flavour. Some of the local breads offered were also quite basic in quality. In general, parts of the room and furnishings felt outdated and in need of a refresh. For the price we paid, we expected a higher standard of quality.

Les petits-déjeuners toujours les mêmes. Bon thé mais pas bon café, viennoiserie unique et pas toujours fraîche, prestations taxis et sorties très chères… Le Riad bruyant si les autres voyageurs ne marchent pas sur la pointe des pieds et ne claquent pas les portes en partant tôt à leurs excursions.

Tout était super de l'accueil du premier jour à la fin de nos vacances. Nourriture, lit, emplacement, services, conseils...

Het was geweldig. Wat een ontvangst, zelfs in de avond bij aankomst alle aandacht en thee met zoetigheid. We hadden vanuit het hotel de taxi-service geregeld en dat was perfect. Tot aan de deur werden wij gebracht en geloof me...Dat was zonder deze service niet gelukt met al die steegjes en smalle straatjes in het donker. 😀. Bij terugreis naar de luchthaven weer netjes opgehaald en weggebracht. Ook de Hammam via de receptie geboekt. Dit is ook een aanrader. Er zijn veel hamman mogelijkheden in Marrakech, maar deze is echt top! We werden vanuit onze Riad opgehaald om 2 1/2uur verder te ontspannen. Wat een ervaring en ontspanning. Riad dar la Rose...jullie zijn geweldig.

The Riad is very well positioned within the medina. The souq is just 200m away, the taxi station is very close by as well, and the square Jama el Fna is 1km away. The street is very quiet and the staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The ryad is very pretty, and the room was clean, BUT it smelled like mould. I had to keep my window open to be able to breathe in the room.

Me intoxicaron con gluten, a pesar de avisar con antelación en varias ocasiones de que soy ALÉRGICA y dijeron que lo tendrían en cuenta a la hora del desayuno. Estuve vomitando durante 24 horas. Pésima experiencia, falta de cuidado, me arruinaron la experiencia y tiré el dinero a la basura. Era mi segunda vez en Marrakech, ya no repito.

Le camere sono un perfetto equilibrio tra tradizione e comfort. La terrazza è ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata nei souk, immersi nei colori e nei profumi della città. Inoltre, la posizione è perfetta: le principali attrazioni di Marrakech sono tutte comodamente raggiungibili a piedi. Noi abbiamo scelto l’opzione con colazione inclusa ed è stata una scelta perfetta: davvero deliziosa e abbondante, con prodotti freschi e specialità locali che rendono il risveglio ancora più piacevole. Un plauso speciale va al personale, sempre cordiale, sorridente e sempre presenti, attenti a ogni esigenza con discrezione e professionalità. Un soggiorno che resta nel cuore, grazie all’atmosfera intima e all’ospitalità autentica.

Nous avons eu la chance d'être dans la dépendance moins bruyante. Dans le riad principal plus de chambres et beaucoup de monde au petit déjeuner, donc plus de bruit.

Sehr zentral, Personal sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Hoteltransfer sehr zu gut, kostengünstig und pünktlich. Frühstück ausgezeichnet. 20m vom Riad entfernt ist eine tolle Bar mit Dachterrasse bei welchem man auch alkoholische Getränke bekommt.

Sobre todo el personal. Contestan inmediatamente a los mensajes y resuelven las dudas de los clientes. El servicio de transporte al aeropuerto es excepcional. Llegamos con más de una hora de retraso (a la 01:30) y nos estaban esperando sin problemas. Para el regreso había que salir muy temprano y nos dejaron una bolsa en la habitación y el conductor estaba otra vez mas que puntual. Todo el personal muy amable y servicial. Recomiendo totalmente el alojamiento. Sin duda repetiremos.

Quizá la habitación podría haber sido un poco más espaciosa, pero estaba todo muy limpio y la relación calidad precio excelente.

Clean, standard Marrakesh riad with working heating and warm water. On a quiet area not too deep in the medina, easy to approach by car or taxi. Everything was taken care reliably.

Ce Riad est un havre de paix au cœur de la médina. Le petit déjeuner est fabuleux. Le personnel est au petit soin pour nous faire passer un séjour inoubliable. Merci à Youssef à Djamal à Hicham à toute l’équipe qui rend ce séjour incroyable.

I had an amazing experience. I have a quick long weekend trip and I needed to stay somewhere centrally located that was clean and reliable. This road was far more than I expected! Great location, coordinated airport pickup(HIGHLY recommend), clean, quaint, the BEST staff, and very comfortable. Could not recommend this more.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au sein de cet établissement. L’équipe du Riad Dar la Rose est très accueillante et aux petits soins. Joli Riad, endroit calme bien situé. Tout peut se faire à pied ( pour les personnes qui aiment la marche )

Amazing location with exceptional staff. Could not recommend enough!

Staff was friendly. We were given a welcome tea, some tourist information and that was good. Location is fine to visit the medina.

We stayed in what is called a Junior Suite, so above the standart room and the superior room. Difference is only the size and not the quality. Room is big but its alongated shape leaves no space for a double bed, which has to be againts a wall; no space left for bedside tables. The room has a small window facing the narrow street and gets some noise from the outside (people chating, motorccycles nearby, etc.). There are no other windows so the roome is rather dark (good for summer guess). The worse is the cleaning. The carpet has never met a vaccum cleaner. Walls are also pretty old and there are cracks everywhere. On the first day we left a plastic bag containing some various sweets on the small table in the room. When we got back in the evening we couldn't find it. My wife went asking for it, and staffs' first reaction was to tell us they took nothing from the room. After insisiting a bit, they went for the bag which was somewhere in the kitchen...it was pretty ackward. There was nothing very valuable in the bag, but still you don't want people from the hotel to take your stuff from the room! Maybe they thought it was rubish...but still you don't take thigs from costumers if it is not in the bin. Coincidently or not, booking contacted us saying the hotel had said (that night) that we did not check in for these two nights. We simply hadn't shown up. I replied saying we were in the hotel. Obviously it could be a technical error from the hotel, but if we were not there, we shouldn't have payed 10€ for tourist tax (2,5 each per each night) and they shouldn't pay this money to the municipality. Further, we wouldn't be given the chance to write this review, as we wouldn't have sleept there. But maybe it was a technical error... The room costed a bit more than 100€ per night. I know Marrakesh is no longer a cheap destination, but we would expect more from 100€.
